Had the pleasure of working with Marc and Joe for getting a set of new Cross Climates for my kids 2015 Focus ST after a not so great experience buying tires off FB Marketplace. These guys got me sorted with an excellent tire that will do the job and then some. Thank you guys for your direction....very much appreciated :)

I purchased winter tires from Discount Tire’s website. I scheduled a date to have them installed. I received text messages from Discount for three days in a row ahead of the install date to remind me about the appointment . The day of, I received another message confirming my appointment. I made a special trip into town and arrived at the appointment on time. The guy running the desk looked up my order and confirmed that my tires had not arrived. He blamed it on FedEx. He was unable to confirm when the tires would arrive or when I could be rescheduled. I cancelled my order. Giant waste of time. Connect your order SMS solution to your inventory solution for gods sake and stop wasting people’s time.

Paid for tires had to wait over two weeks for an appointment three days before got messages to confirm our appointment every day even the day of filled out the return form saying we will be there showed up early for the appointment tires were not there could not give us a new appointment date could not offer us any solution at all besides wait and we might message you when they come in. Very disappointing to pay for a product and service and was not given any option to fix the situation besides we can text you when they might come in. We live 45 min away and took the day off of work to get tires will never use discount again, we have been customers for years don’t wast your time at this location there manager is lazy and inconsiderate. Really need to find a manager that knows how to run this shop.

Purchased and had 4 snow tires installed on Monday December 16th. Good tires but they did try to throw away my old tires after I said I was going to keep them. In addition to that i know have to go somewhere for balancing because my car pulls to the right when it didn’t before.

Called ahead of time to schedule an appointment to rotate my tires. No appointment needed, come on down I was told. I came on down, it wasn’t too busy and gave them my keys. An hour later I asked how much longer, Caleb told me another couple hours until they get to it. That would’ve been nice to hear when I called and tried to make an appointment or when I first showed up, not an hour after waiting for my 10 minute tire rotation. I left, no work performed. Do better for your returning customers.

I have 35x12.5x20 tires. The guy wanted to argue with me, saying 12.5 wide won't work.. I've had this truck 4 years with the tires that are on there. They work just fine.. he tried to get me to get 13.5, which only left two brands to choose from, so l went to Belle Tire down the road and had no issues.

Had a bad valve stem while our truck camper was on. Called and manager, he said no problem. Headed right to them and they quickly repaired a nail I didn't know was there and the valve stem. Checked all tires, inflated and rescanned so low pressure system was calibrated Absolutely great experience with all the staff.

Last week, my tire light came on saying I had a low tire. Discount Tire had put my tires on for me so I went to them. They had the air clinic and they aired up my tire. The low tire light went off on my dash and it was good. A few days later, it came back on again. So this time I took it back in there and the manager came out with his little phone looking gage that he held over the top of each Tire and told me it looked like one of my rims was going bad. He said we can take the tire off and fix it up but you need to replace the rim. Well, the rim was well over $200. And if I was gonna purchase a rim, I would purchase two, so it would at least look semi-decent. But I can’t afford that. I told him just to fix the tire and rotate them and I will get back to them as I did not want a rim. I’m 69 years old & on a fixed income. The tire light on the dash never turned off. Well, needless to say a couple days later, I took it to another tire place well known in my area - they took it in then came back out to me within 10 minutes and told me there was a nail in my tire. They fixed it & said nothing was wrong with the rim. The light went off and it’s not been back on since and it’s been more than 36 hours. Needless to say my business is going to be going elsewhere. Obviously the manager just wanted to make a sale. 10/22/24 Update: i’m still not had any issues with my tire! The rims are still intact! I definitely will not be going back to Discount Tire.

We noticed a nail in our tire and just made it to Discount Tire 10 minutes before closing. We always buy tires from them and they fixed the tire, no charge, & got us back on the road in minutes. Plus, it was my husband's 72nd birthday today. Highly recommend!

Appointments are meaningless. The shop is first come first serve. The staff is nice enough, but the upsells are gross and disingenuous.

I drive from Higgins Lake to get tires done here. From low profile performance tires, to oversized off road tires, they have mounted and balanced them for me. Out of my 10+ experiences here, the one and only mistake they did make, was quickly corrected without hesitation. I highly recommend.

Made an appointment and showed up for the appointment to a lobby full of people waiting. Nobody cared that I had an appointment. They had me wait for 30 minutes, then told me it would be an hour before my car was ready. They let me make an appointment even though the bays were full and they wouldn't be able to get my car in on time in the first place. Mark told me it was my fault for not showing up early. Also, they help whoever steps up to the counter first. Had a guy cut in front of me because I sat down. I don't like this place anymore. Two days of driving to the store for no service. Do not recommend!

So, I had great experience here. Caleb took care of me initially. Well, I ALWAYS get the road hazard warranty. I accept day before and made sure they had the tire I needed and made appt cause I came from 1.5 hrs away. Anyway, I get there and they say there was no warranty 😭. They went back and looked at all my records and saw I always get warranty. They helped me out and warrantied the tire. They sold me warranties for the rest of the tires. So, I got a new tire, 4 warranties for $146. They got done super quick. Thank you Tyler for taking care of me, knowing your job, and listening to me. He didn't just sell me a tire and send me away. He took the time to look up what I told him. This is why I have done business with discount tire for so many years. Thanks again making our visit from Texas less stressful.

We came off the freeway with a nail in our tire( and 200 miles to home). Tyler got us right in, fixed it in less than an hour and didn't charge us. I wish we could buy our future tires from this place. A+ all around!

It's a tire store manned by a young crew. They do what's needed with the oversight of a good manager, but they are not on top of their game. Specifically, they did not save a defective tire for inspection as required by state law, which I had inquired about the day before. They missed that other TPMS needed to be replaced when replacing one in the wheel of the defective tire. Therefore, after I paid a very reasonable price to have one replaced, they still couldn't sync it with the car because of the others. I felt like I wasted time, money, or both.

Very bad experience at the Gaylord store! dropped 2 wheels off to get snow tires put on and they weren't done on time when I was told they would be and being directional it seems like they would know to not mount them for the same side of the car but nope. Most likely not be going back! I recommend using Meekhof tire! They are way more professional than Tyler will ever be at Discount Tire!
