The WORSE EVER customer service for tire check out side !!! Over 20 mints people in the line waiting and NO BODY EVEN SHOWED UP TO GREET OR EXPLAIN OR DO THE JOB !!! They all working on cars carelessly and not even bothering to look at the frustrated line of cars ! Bunch of kids that HAVE NO MANAGERS !!!

Walked in to get my tire checked and a guy named corner was helping me he has no manners or respect towards a customer on how to talk and how to greet a client in other words he’s a pure liability and an irresponsible person to have on establishment for sure he’s going to make the reputation go down of the brand

I recently had to replace all four tires on my truck after experiencing two flats. I contacted Discount Tire and spoke with the store manager, JJ, who immediately impressed me with his customer-first attitude. He informed me of a promotion that was running and provided a fantastic quote, making what could have been a stressful situation much easier to handle. Within less than an hour, my truck was equipped with four brand-new tires, all at a great price. JJ and the technicians at this location took excellent care of my vehicle, and the customer service was second to none. Since my truck is my only mode of transportation, JJ went above and beyond by arranging for one of their technicians to pick me up from home. This level of service truly exceeded my expectations. To top it all off, JJ noticed that one of my hubcaps was broken and took it upon himself to order a replacement. He called me when it arrived and installed it at no extra charge. That kind of attention to detail is rare, and it's clear that JJ and his team genuinely care about their customers. For anyone looking to replace their car or truck tires, I highly recommend the Discount Tire location on Hillcroft and Westheimer. Great people, excellent service, and an unbeatable customer experience. Thanks to JJ and the whole team—I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

I went here to get a flat tyre fixed, the staff was good n polite. Didn't try to sell unnecessary stuff or insisted on getting new tyres. Best part they fixed the flat tyre for free.

Unprofessional and slow. They will lie to you just to sell you tires. Instead of plugging a flat they offered a new tire and estimated 45min to 1 hr. Took over 2 hours. Also, there were people in line waiting to get the tire air check and employees weren’t even attending them. One lady got off her car to ask if employees could do the air check and employee told her to leave if she didn’t want to wait.

Waited over 1-hr 15 min for a tire rotation with an appointment and my car was still just sitting in the parking lot. I ended up leaving without the car being touched. No sense in making an appointment.

The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars and not one was the guy charged me only $20 for tire lock instead of $50, mainly because I STRESSED to him I've ONLY been to discount tires and I didn't realize I had to make sure they were putting the lock back etc,... Either way, so I call on a Wednesday at 1:30pm because my run flat tire is got a chunk in it, they didn't have the tire in stock so they were going to order it, guy said he'd have it there by today and would call... 6 o'clock rolls around and I figure they didn't get it, okay so next morning I realize it's worse than I thought so I can't go to work on it (I work less than 5 miles from my house) so I call at 7am and yes they have the tire... Truly makes me wonder WHEN it arrived but whatever right? So I go in to get the tire replaced and that's when they inform me that my actual tire lock is missing, then they put the tire on the FRONT even though they have a literal sign in the building saying that when they replace a new tire they put it on the back for reasons, they didn't check ANY air in ANY of my other tires either... I went to Discount on Westheimer to get that fixed AND he reset my tire light no problem...

This was my second time coming here because I had a good experience the first time... This time I dropped the car off to replace 1 tire. It was in the shop and done in an hour which is satisfactory, wasn’t displeased about that at all. The problem was when I got dropped off to pick it up I came back to some type of grease on my door handle and door. It wasn’t a crazy amount but it wasnt just dirt. When i went to wipe it off it just smeared. it was stuck on the paint. I had to take it through a car wash this morning to get it off of there… maybe I’m crazy but I feel If you get crap like that on a paying customers paint you should clean it up. On Top of the silicone or grease or whatever it was. the valve stem cap is now gone, and the lug cover caps are gone. The tire itself seems good, no complaints there. but needless to say, I’m pissed with how the car was returned to me.. Just a lazy, careless, and sloppy job. A blatant lack of respect for someone’s property and y’all lost stuff that I have to order now.

Those guys were FAST and EFFICIENT!! I am extremely impressed with how fast I was taken care of and my tires were changed! From the moment I walked in they were friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain what was going on. Axel was the one to help me. I mentioned to him I was on a time crunch and only had 30 minutes and he said he’d make it happen— my car was ready in 20 minutes! I will definitely be coming back to this location!

Update dated September 25 After my message, the store manager John Geiser Jr. called me back in the name of customer satisfaction. While going there today, I was planning to give 3 or at most 4 stars because it was my second visit, and I had to leave work again. I had bought the part, whose code I found on the official GMC website, from eBay. We tested the sensors I purchased twice, and they worked, but once installed in my car, they didn’t work. This was the second time I experienced this disappointment. This is where J.J. stepped in; he recommended one of the TPMS brands they sell, and I bought it. This time, it worked. I lost a lot of time, but the problem was resolved, so J.J. won me back. Thank you. What I learned from this: Even if the TPMS is a part recommended by the manufacturer, it is definitely more logical to buy it from Discount Tire after doing a price comparison, to avoid taking any risks. ************************************************** I bought a set of tires on August 16, we agreed to replace the tpms tire sensors I bought from Amazon, but it turned out that the sensors were not compatible with the vehicle, they did not work, I bought new ones, I wanted them replaced with these yesterday, they wanted to charge $62 per tire, I have almost never used the free services (FREE Rotation, FREE Rebalancing, FREE Flat Tire Repair) on the tires I bought so far, I was upset that they asked for a fee for this

I brought my car in on July 13th and bought 4 new tires that I already felt I was overcharged for. Then my car was damaged. The tire cap was broken. Since July 13th a replacement was supposed to be ordered by Flavio. I've gone into the location about 4 times since then and I'm constantly being told BS... Oh we had an incident, the manager is out, they sent the wrong part, we'll go to the Toyota dealership and buy the replacement, oh Flavio doesn't work at this location anymore, and then Manuel was supposed to be ordering the part. Throughout this entire process not one single person has called with an update or an apology on how this is inconveniencing me. I've been driving around for over a month with a missing tire cap. To say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with Discount Tire would be an understatement. I want to be compensated for this gross error. I want my tire cap replaced immediately. There is no reason it should take over a month to get one, ONE, 2014 Toyota Corolla tire cap. I will likely never buy from discount tire again, or at the very least, not from what I've come to realize is the worst location in Houston. 2727 hillcroft st houston, TX 77057

Thursday I came in at 4:40. Eric approached my car and I told him I needed a tire rotation. He asked for my phone number and set an appointment for 4:45 saying it would be about a hour and 30 wait. I was like ok I’ll go to another location. I came back at 8:02 AM Friday and Eric approached my car again. This time he doesn’t ask for my phone number and assures me it will be around 9:20 for my work to be completed. There’s about 3-4 people ahead of me. I wait. People started showing up after me and it’s about 9:15 and my car still has yet to be touched while people that showed up after me was already getting their cars returned. Turns out they were making appointments for people upon arrival like they did with me Thursday when I pulled up. I was forgotten. I asked Eric what’s the status and he told me there’s 4 new appointments ahead of me so they had to open a bay to have 3 guys work on my tire rotation which only took them 10 minutes and 43 seconds to complete (yes I timed it). They need to stop creating appointments for pull ups because it’s almost as if they are creating preferential treatment for who they want to prioritize for service How ridiculous…will not recommend this location.

Waited 15 mins for air pressure check. No one came to acknowledge me or anything. I just sat there and no one came. I saw many other stuff doing things for other ppl and was completely ignored. So I left without getting any help.

Review update: I was contacted by one of the store managers, Flavio, who reviewed my issues and acknowledged the shortcomings during my previous visits. He made a generous offer to make up for the issues and said he would review all the issues with his team. He set me an appointment on a day he was there so he could review everything personally. Everything went smooth, on time, and with no issues. Flavio took responsibilities for the past issues and did not try to make excuses. He gave me the impression that he cares about his customers and wanted the improve the areas where his team was weak. I will continue to be a customer of discount tire because of him. Original review: Not very happy with this location. I had a flat and ordered a fairly expensive replacement front tire because the rest of the tires only had 13000 miles and had it installed. For some reason they also keep adding my father’s name to the account after I’ve told them multiple times he is not associated with my account and then keep adding some random person named Francisco. Anyways after I get the car back I notice it’s pulling hard to the right so I make an appointment. Initially they tell me it’s because the other tires are old (apparently 13000 miles is old) and the only thing to do is replace all the tires or possibly get an alignment. So I bring it back in and then they come back and discover the other front tire is shredded near the sidewall with wire showing. Clearly this means they did not bother to check any of the other tires during the first tire replacement like they are supposed to do and claim to do during the previous visit 2 days ago. So now I have wasted a 2nd day bringing the car back in because they failed to inspect the other tires the first time. Oh and again they keep putting my fathers name on the invoice and sending reminders to his email and phone number even though at this point I have asked them at least 5 times to remove him from the account. I then have to order and wait on another tire and waste another day bringing the car back on to get a tire change. I schedule an appointment online for 11:30 and got there 10 minutes early. Around 12:10 I notice my car has not moved and ask what’s happening? They say oh yours is next. Well why did I bother scheduling an appointment if you aren’t going to honor the appointment time or notify me of the longer wait? They also seem to have overcharged for the tire which I saw online cheaper but had the service actually been good I wouldn’t mind. Oh and of course they are still emailing my father copies of the appointment and receipts after I’ve told so many times to take him off the account as he was never added on to it in the first place. Then once the car is ready I drive to the end of their driveway to leave and get a low tire pressure alert on the tire they just replaced. Thankfully someone checked and corrected the air pressure, it was in the mid low 30s instead of 41 as it should have been. At this point I’m not confident they correctly installed either tire and will probably take it somewhere to verify there are no issues.

The website's wheel visualizer stated the wheels would fit on my car, but they were not wide enough. If Tino, Manny, or any of the other employees are able to fit a set of wheels/tires that'll properly fit on my car, then I will gladly change this review.

The worst store I had an experience, I had a flat tire with an old woman, instead of fixing only the associate was selling new tires and I accept if you can get me done after 30min (eventually front tires need replacing after 5 month) but as long as he deliver me the car after 30 min with confirmation time fixing the time same time replacing as well, 25min and my car not pull yet I stopped ok, give me my keys and do not promise clients something you will not do it just to sell tires and she is a woman she will be fine It’s not

My front left tire was leaking air, took in to Discount tire at 2727 Hilcroft St, Houston. I’m forever grateful customer. My service man, Frank, Flavio were very kind and knowledgeable in diagnosing my tire problems, and helped me get the tire back I. Shape. Thank you to my techs Christian and Johnay all very professional and knows what they are doing. All this was at no charge…. These days everyone gouges their customer everyway they can, and I was fully prepared to pay for the services but NO CHARGE!!!!! Thank you and I’m forever your loyal customer👍👍👍
