I love discount tire. But this is not my regular discount tire. If your car allows you to go somewhere else. Please do so, they don’t check all the tires don’t do the repairs well. You can take up to 45 minutes just getting your air check and it just does not make sense.

So I had my tires checked for leaks then rotated, and later on that day I lost the wheel cover to my Yaris, so I called, and the Manager I spoke with was highly empathetic and said I got you, and I will leave a note so just come in. When I arrived this morning I spoke with a manager who stated I will take care of it and walked me over to the computer and ordered a new set of wheel covers, and said as soon as they come in, we'll call you. Outstanding job and first class customer service. Appreciate y'all.

El servicio es bueno los chicos bilingues y muy amables. Pero ya estoy cansada de regresar tantas veces por que desde que compré mis llantas nuevas aquí mismo, se les sale el aire a dos de ellas. Es una molestia estar regresando por que no queda bien, y cada vez tengo que estar esperando mucho tiempo por el servicio, así sea solo aire para las llantas.

It took 5 visits to get a replacement tire. I find it common across most discount tire locations that the employees will push blame on the vehicle or the driver and not the product or the employee. That’s how most companies operate.

Ordered tires here for a new car I bought. They placed the new tires on wheels I brought into the store and then mounted them on my car. These guys were very professional and methodic in their installation approach. I appreciate it!

I started my Monday morning off with a nail in my tire. I took into vehicle to Discount Tire to get my tire fixed.. The customer service I received was like no other. I appreciated getting taken care of in a timely manner and everyone was so kind. Chris took great care of me. It’s not everywhere you go that people are this kind and truly care about the customer.

My experience on the day of the visit was great. They were very polite and timely. However the next day driving the car for a 4 hour trip was not pleasant with lots of shaking. I stopped 3 hours down the road at a discount tire which told me they left the old weights on, did not balance the tires and stripped a stud. I now have to go back to them to have that fixed. This has made for Many extra stops and inconveniences that could have been avoided.

They stripped a lug nut which I totally understand is just something that happens. This was on a Saturday. The problem is they sent me to a place that is closed on Saturday. They initially didn’t offer to compensate for the cost and inconvenience. I called back and was offered a refund of the service cost. I talked them up to $100 since I would have to take time off of work to get it fixed. I’m waiting on the lug nut repair and was quoted 3 hours (so here until 12 noon). This means a loss of 4 hours of work, at close to $40/hr, so I lose net of $160 on my paycheck. Funny how nobody from discount tire offered to compensate anything until I asked about it. I guess it’s business and they have to make their money too. But heads up for future customers. Do not let them take advantage of you. The employees were nice about it but I am annoyed I even had to ask for compensation. Also annoyed to not be at work right now.

Had an appointment for 12pm on a Saturday and was out by 12:50pm. Service is quick and more importantly, they do a great job. After I changed my tires, my car’s internal tire pressure monitor readings were completely off. The technicians triple checked that they were putting the correct air pressure into my tires before sending me off. I really appreciate their attention to detail and safety. My car pressure monitor eventually corrected itself after driving about 5 mins, and I was so relieved that the technicians didn’t trust my car’s instrumentation at first.

I have been a customer of Discount Tire since I started driving...decades ago, at least 3, we can leave it at that...always great service and pricing, but I have to give a ton of respect to the TC Jester location in Houston, and specifically Travis, for taking care of my car this week. We had to go through some run flat options....Travis was great, straight up about different pros and cons and whatnots. Got the perfect tires at the best price. Oh yeah, shout out to Teddy, he is like air traffic control managing customers coming to check-in at the store's parking lot. Teddy makes sure you are taken care of, you can tell how much he cares about the customers.

The location near my house had a 2 hour wait, so i drove a bit further to this one, and they repaired my flat tire and got me on the way in about 30min. Super courteous staff and great workmanship!

Visited this location to have my rear tires patched.. picked up nails in both on a road trip. Service was good! They did what they were supposed to, ahead of original completion estimation, and had no issues. My complaints: 1- I get it, discount needs to sell tires. However, I feel it’s a bit deceptive they they use “stopping distance” as a blanket metric for tire replacement. This does not consider tire width (contact patch), tire type (tread pattern, ability to distinguish water through reliefs, etc), but also allegedly has nothing to do with tire age. I am here to tell you that tire age is a very important factor, as rubber (re/tires) gets harder as the tire conditioners expel, leading to less compliance and greater stopping distance. Regardless, they “strongly recommended” the replacement of my tires measuring 5/32 for risk of stopping distance from 150ft to 242ft (or similar). Preposterous… for one, I race cars with tires that come brand new with 5/32-7/32 tread, and those cars will out-stop anything on the road. Their chart also does not consider ABS capability. Anyways… deceptive practice. 2- Please provide more care getting into a car with white interior. Change your gloves, put a seat cover on. I got in my car and immediately my hands had black residue on them from the steering wheel, and there were marks all over the white interior from where they touched. This is just a gripe, and it did wipe off, but it’s a small ask. Overall… I got the service I asked for and I’m content. Just 2 areas of optimization.

What a phenomenal experience. The truest example of what customer service needs to be. They will go to any length to earn your business. I ordered a set of Rocky Mountains (Discount Tire's brand) but the tires were mishandled in transit for a week, it happens, however; they stepped up and set me up with the next best tires at no extra cost. Flavio, you are the best at every level my man. A+

Scary!! The tire pressure checker is located in a very peculiar place, which leaves your vehicle out in the street of on coming traffic, if there's a line there! The entire building should be placed on a larger lot. My tires did need air, so this location served it's purpose!!

Aired up a flat before having a long road trip and asked DT to inspect all four tires. Went at 8:00 am, when they open. Great service but it's a busy place and it took an hour and a half of waiting. Very efficient operation but smothered by the public

Checked in around 4:20 for a tire rotation. Knew I was in for a wait since it was a busy Friday. After waiting an hour and a half for my turn, I was told rotating the tires was unnecessary and that I needed to replace all 4 tires. That would have been great information to have at the very beginning of my visit, knowing it takes quite literally 1 minute to inspect a cars tires.

I’m disappointed with the service today. I had a flat tire to fix. When I received my car I found the fixed tire pressure was 46 psi while the others were 35. I asked one technician and got the answer it’s normal I’m good to go. The TP climbed to 48 when I was driving on the highway. I was so scared and went to a gas station to release some pressure. I can’t imagine what if the tire blew on the highway due to the high pressure. During my visit at this store, two salesman talked to me one after another to let me know current tires replaced in 2021 were worn out and need to replace right away. I appreciate your care for me and for my car but I hope you can do your real job nice and clean. Otherwise consumer will not believe you anymore.

The fixed one flat tire (nitto 400.00) value. Everything was good until that. After they installed the tire, the sensor never worked again (I don't know what they did), but they checked, and the sensor was broken. Kris told me he could give me another sensor because he knew it was their fault. But now I need to buy a new tire because the other was too old. In the end, KRIS gave me the sensor, but I need to find another place to get it installed. THANK YOU KRIS FOR THE BAD MOMENT. FOR SURE I DON'T GONNA SPEND 2K IN YOUR STORE WITH MY NEW SET OF TIRES! This location lied to my face, refused to rotate my tires while telling me that my tires need to be replaced after I’ve only driven them 14k miles. I bought this set of tires in September of last year from this location! I tried to tell them that if my tires need replacing after 14k miles, that should be covered under the manufacturer warranty. They told me it wasn’t covered and that it was MY fault for not getting my tires rotated every 3k miles?!? I have never heard something so crazy. I reached out to corporate and was told I would be hearing from the VP, I never did. I reached out a second time and was the rep just apologized that I never heard from anyone. Since this appointment, my vehicle has been serviced and I got an inspection done - neither place found anything concerning about my tires or suggested replacement, proving that this location lied to me as part of their sales approach. This is shameful.
