My husband buys tires from here for his trucks and sent me here to get my tires checked. He usually takes care of that for me, but today I’m on my own. Actually, i’m in line right now as i’m typing this. Cold weather came in today and my personal car just needed some air really quick. I clocked myself in at 11:14am and right now it is 11:50am… called the store before typing this and spoke to Carlos to ask if they were running short today or if it would take longer so i can make my way to another discount or gas station to put air myself which is no big deal. The wait i’m having to wait is ridiculous and i really don’t want to waste the last 10 minutes of my lunch hour here. He said the guy putting air “Eric” (a red shirt) was busy doing a sale. The thing is while i’ve been in this line, Eric is here then he’s not for another 10 minutes. The inside and the outside looks literally just about empty. That’s why i called to ask if they were busy, then once i let them know i’ve been in the line for over 30 minutes you could kind of hear the panic and they sent Eric back out. All i’m saying is, if they couldn’t put air in the tires they could let us know. It’s not a problem for me to go out of my way and put air myself or to pay a tire shop either, but it is a problem to waste an ENTIRE hour of my lunch time just to put air in one single tire. The thing is I’m blocked inside the cones and i have a car in front of me AND behind me. And i can’t ask the guy to move the cones to let me out because he’s nowhere to be found… so… you see how crazy this is. I only came here because it’s on the way. I will not get my lunch time reimbursed, and I now have to go back to work. Discount needs to do better with communicating at least if they are busy. Which again, it was practically empty. Anyways, there goes 50 min of waiting in line for air, thank you discount tire.

Made an appointment here cause they always preach about how much less time i would wait yet here i am waiting for them to change 1 tire on my car and its been 2 hours and its not even busy compared to other days. Slowest discount tire i have ever been to. My car is not even in the bay when it was supposed to be ready hours ago. Stay away from here unless you want to wait 2 hours per tire you’re replacing cause thats how long it takes to change 1 tire at this discount location

Takes this place 2 hours to change 1 tire and dont bother making appointments cause people that walk in 30 mins after you get their tires serviced first. Worst discount tire in Houston

I have been going to the S. Post Oak location for almost 2 years - it is the ONLY place I purchase tires or get tire service for my vehicles.

Just went to get tire pressure checked. There was an employee yelling for pressure check for someone to come out to check the tire pressure on my car. No one came out so after waiting for about 10 minutes I just left.

Broke the stud off, so I had to spend time getting it replaced. Not the first stud I've had to get replaced thanks to Discount Tire.

Ever since I've been going to discount tires.I have had positive experiences on every visit. The staff has always taken care of me from the manager that is on duty on that particular visit when i have concerns about my vehicles, down to the salesman and even to the techs as well when they perform service on my vehicles. And I haven't had any problem with any of my vehicles since I've been coming to discount tires. Thank you to the staff for always welcoming me with positive professionalism and I recommend any customer to come to discount tires. Excellent Job 😀

I only came for air. Got here 8:10, I was #3 in line. Been here over hour. It NEVER took this long before and I've been using discount tire for all my tire needs since 2011. This place is just beyond slow 🐌

I went to have my tires rotated and balanced on 9.7.24 when the employee mentioned I needed two new tires since they were bought in 2020. After keeping 1 of the tires as a spare I noticed there was still much tread on it which meant I didn't need new tires. What a rip off. From now on no more business with DISCOUNT TIRES after 30 years of buying tires. I prefer to spend more money elsewhere than lied to.

I had a great experience. Wil and Carlos were very helpful. Wil made my checkout experience very easy and seamless, as it can be difficult buying tires as a woman. I highly recommend this location. The customer service was great. Thank you again, Will!

I've never gone to a discount tire place and they tell me they can't price match for a sentry tire. All my tires were a price match for sentry tires. Do they get paid extra to mess over people 🤔

I went to Discount Tire on South Post Oaks for a routine tire rotation and balancing. I was greeted by Byron,a team member as I was getting out of the car. I just want to say that this Discount Tire staff showed great customer service and professionalism and the overall atmosphere was vibrant and upbeat. The wait was a little long because they were very busy and I didn't make an appointment but it was well worth the wait. I'll recommend this Discount Tire to anyone

On two occasions I have had a bad experience in customer service from this supposedly manager named Will. I have been a customer of this store for a long time and I have spent hundreds of dollars on all my cars buying tires with them! until another worker named Mario helped me, I think this has to do with LaRaza because they serve their people better!

These guys here at this location are awesome! Main man for me is Mr Felix Rivas, he takes care of all my vehicles. Very professional, great customer service, and very honest!
