🤦🏾‍♀️ !!! I am so furious. Where do I begin !!! Tuesday, November 20, 2024 it was approximately 5:40 PM in the afternoon. I realize that my tire was low and there was a discount tire nearby on Gessner and I was CLOSE BY so I decided to stop regardless of the area because I really don’t care for that area, but I went ahead and stopped !!! I’m here in Texas and it’s daylight savings time so therefore it gets dark a little earlier and I didn’t wanna have to go to the gas station to pump my own air Into my tire. So I felt like discount tire couldn’t let me down. But little do I know they did. !!! Long story short I was in line behind this young lady and it was about 5:42 PM she waited about 2 to 3 minutes before they pulled her into the bay! Then the young man that was getting ready to put in her tire, looked at me with a confused face. I quickly glanced at the clock to verify that it wasn’t 6pm to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong 😑 . A manager comes over to me in a RED shirt by the name of LEO, he told me they were closed. I look at the time again. It was 547pm, I stated to him “ you guys at 6 PM right, and he said yes but the line for the air check is closed. I said that’s not true because the young lady that was pulled into the BAY in the bay is getting air check and AIR !!! He tells me , NOOO 🫨 SHE WAS INSIDE THE BUILDING AND SHE IS ABOUT TO GET HER CAR WORKED ON. !!! 👀 I instantly told him that’s a lie because whether you know it or not I was sitting behind her before she got pulled into the bay. Then he goes on to say that the air check machine is 😡BROKEN ( again ) It’s been broken for over some time now for over 3 weeks and that they’re CLOSED and if I want any service, I have to get out of my car and go sit inside and WAIT !!! I looked inside and asked WAIT FOR WHAT !!??? . I said y’all close at 6 PM. Why would I get out my car and go inside and wait just to get AIR CHECK ??? Are you KIDDING ME ???!!! Then I see another young man assistant another car With air check, he put air in 2 of there tires so I SAY to him “ so you’re still telling me you can’t put air in my tire after I looked at two of your employees assist two of the people in front of me “ ???? Overall, he finally did get one of his employees to assess me with my tire because he saw that I was persistent and I wasn’t leaving because I didn’t arrive AFTER THE TIME FRAME !!!! JUST BEING a female this is just flat out ridiculous !!! I’ve always thought I can count on discount tire at a time like this, but I don’t even think I’m going to patronize your company ANY LONGER along with family and friends !!! THIS IS BEYOND SAD 😞!!!!! DISCOUNT TIRE 🛞 Please get rid of these lazy ass people that aren’t willing to work !!!

Unfortunately Discount Tires are no longer a Discount. The name should be changed to Regular Price Tires. I’m saddened by this place. I remember I could get 4 tires at $450, now it has doubled. I’ll be going to the mom and pop shop that carries no name but have good tires as well

Incredible location. Got in for all new tires at 8:10 was on the road at 8:39 paid for. Best tire experience ever.

My tire almost flat_only 10 left on one tire. I came in and one technician said came back later as the guy check the air on lunch break. :-(. Thank you for responding from Discount Tire customer service I hope staff will be training regarding helping customers.

Went by 22 minutes before closing and needed some air in one of my tires. They didn't want to add air. It would take them less than 5 minutes. Thanks for nothing and bad customer service.

Went by to get tires aired up.had to go inside to find out we aren't doing that today because we have a stock order.if u are going to provide this as a service it needs to be available all the time.my brother in law had same issue a few months back.we both went to meadows location and were taken care of.this is where I will go to buy my tires.

I had my tires rotated and new windshield wipers installed. Made an appointment and the process was done in a flash! I was so extremely surprised and happy. All of the staff were so professional and knowledgable. I would recommend this establishment a million times. Special thank you to Jorge Espinal for changing my bad blinker...which was NOT an easy task:)

The service was fast but over priced. I mentioned I could get it cheaper at Walmart and they priced matched once I showed a copy of my friend's receipt. She had just had the same service for a lot cheaper.

They lost my wheel lock, told me they don't use customer's wheel locks so they don't have it when I told them they never have it back to me, and when they went to replace it, it took over a month. I came to get a new tire and the person who helped me was friendly, but he was new. He took the wheel lock and I sat sand waited for my car to be ready. I got my paperwork and left without the lock. I called a few minutes later and GEORGE answered, calling himself the manager (he is not) and said they would have it for me when I came back at an agreed time the same day (about 20 mins later). I asked for it and the staff I spoke to said they don't take wheel locks from customers. I said I spoke to George and he said he would have it for me. The staff just kept repeating that they do not take wheel locks so there is no way they have it. I asked to speak to George and he went to the shop side and someone handed me a random lock. I said this is not mine and they said this is all we have. George comes and says this is "the only one in a bag" so it has to be the one you gave us (even though I said several times it is not right). I asked about the new staff that helped initially, maybe he could retrace his steps, but he also insisted I gave him the random lock they tried to replace it with. I showed George the 2nd lock I have and he walked around the shop only to say they cannot find it. He said would purchase another and call in 3 days. He called me 3 times in 1 minute in the middle of the work day. I answered the first call, said hello, and no one spoke, so I hung up. At the time of the call, I thought it was a scam. I came to the store myself to check my tires after Beryl and see about the lock. The other staff members pretended not to know me. I only asked for the manager, and gave no other info, suddenly they said "oh are you here about the lock?" when they heard me say I want to talk to the manager. SERGIO the actual manager listened to the back story so he can give an update. He found the lock and made sure it matches my car and I mentioned to him that his staff made this whole problem so much worse than it was, several of them lied to my face and gave me the run around. He said I trust my staff so, I'll take their word for it. I asked him even after I told you they lied to my face and lost my lock? He just shrugged his shoulders. He crushed my fingers when I offered a handshake and walked off.

They are great Managment Team , I totally changed my mind , Ms. Jennifer V. did a great help with Wonderfull smile , she came out from counter and inspect my car as I had suddenly Nail in my tire , she gave the best advice and explanation .. This is the best customer services I had with Discount tire .. She was doing great with all customers really I loved the place because of her and she deserves the appreciation, while she is doing my tire repaire with their professional team I’m writing this review for them .. Mr. Jazlo and his team did great for my car really wonderful maintenance team They are very organized , clean & neat and I really liked to deal with them forever because of their wonderful empolyee who is really caring with professional attitude and helping me in the last hour before closing .. I recommend my reviewers to visit and have a long term relation with this branch .. 😊

I have always had a string of minor issues at this Discount Tire branch due to carelessness when repairing my tires, but it is the closest branch to my home. However, this last issue of carelessness could have proven to be fatal for me. Yesterday evening, while driving on 610 south, my tire starts to eject from my car! Thankfully, I was able to make it over to the highway shoulder without collision. When the wrecker arrived he discovered that ALL my lug nuts from my front passenger tire was missing. It was clear that those lug nuts had not been installed properly and had been loosening up and falling out over time. Today, I had my car towed to the Discount Tire after speaking with them on the phone about the mishap. After taking a look at my car, the manager attempted to lie and say they had never touched my front tires, which I was quickly able to disprove because they rotate all the tires when they install the new tires. Then, he just kept declaring that DT could not be liable because of how long it had been and that the wheel cells were corroded. However, what he doesn’t understand is that over time due to the improper installation of the lug nuts, the lug nuts have been falling out and creating the corrosion in the cells due to every day weather conditions. Then, when I asked for his superior's contact information, he refused to provide the information and told me to go online or call for the information. I am deeply disappointed in the customer service I received today and I am deeply concerned for the safety of other customers. I am warning people to please find another branch to be serviced at to avoid dangerous situations like this from happening to you. UPDATE 7/23 : After seven days from initial call with customer care and no response, I called customer care back myself. I told the customer care agent whoever responds to my issue doesn't need to be the store manager, he has made no effort to resolve the situation or make anything right, especially with a customer who has such a long track record at Discount Tire. Of course, the store manager, Sergio, is the one who calls me back today saying his supervisor is on vacation. He starts asking for pricing for the repairs I have incurred due to their negligence and I pause him and asked what are next steps? While you're asking for pricing, you haven't said anything about what is the protocol or even apologized for untimely response. He then goes on to say, that he's running these prices by his supervisor, and they didn't plan to take any action to remedy the situation. Again, I told him it was no reason to call and AGAIN asked for a superior to respond and call me back. I will be calling customer care again. What a mess! Again, I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone.

I went due to bad tire sensor. It turned i have 1 bad tire sensor. I told the sales guy i just need the sensor replaced for now, im not ready to replace the tires just yet. I will come back in few weeks to replace the tires. But he kept pushing to replace all 4 tires. So i told him i will discuss my husband, he told me you need to call your husband. So i gave him my key & he told me are you going to call your husband? He said i can not fix that sensor if you dont replace all 4 tires. I pulled my key & went away. That sale guy is horrible & doing really hard selling. If your sales guys are like this, you are going to turn your customers away. I would not recommend this branch.

I went to get a flat tire repair from a tire that I purchased from them. The associate tells me that the tire can't be fixed cause the nail is big. I know you can't fix it if it's on the side, but in the middle of the tread, it is fixable. But he was very clear to try to sell me another tire, but I know you can't trust humans. I go to mom and pop tire shop, and they fix the tire for 20 bucks. Now, if I was a idiot and just listened, then I would've spent 300 bucks unnecessarily. Discount tire has lost a customer forever.
