This Discount Tire location used to be excellent but not anymore. Every time I get my vehicle tires rotated and balanced, I have to return the same day because the tire pressure indicator comes on after the rotate and balance! Today I took my daughter’s vehicle in to have 2 new tires installed. Once again, the tire indicator light came on! In addition to this, the wheel was vibrating a lot! I had to waste more time to take the vehicle back for them to redo the tire balance! One they did the tire balancing AGAIN, the wheel problem was resolved. Why was the balancing not done correctly the first time??? What is going on at this business??? They need to hire more experienced employees who really know what they’re doing. At this point, I have to seriously consider using a different business when I need to buy new tires!

This is the only place I will go to for tires. Aaron, the service rep is awesome! He is polite, efficient, and very personable. This is the location on Katy Frwy between Wilcrest and Kirkwood. Would highly recommend them!

Came out from our hotel this morning to find our tire blown out. Luckily this Discount was right next door but we were still worried about getting home in time for work, especially now that we were getting two new tires. I mentioned this to attendant and they had us back on the road in about 40 minutes, maybe less. We’re very impressed and grateful, thank yall!

My rental car had a slow leak, I pulled into Discount Tire to ask for some air. The staff helped right away and said the tire was too low for air but they'd fix my leak free of charge! So I left the car with them for an hour or so and they fixed my tire for free, can't beat that! Highly recommend!

Overall, I really like Discount Tire and have used them for years at various locations for years. That being said, this is the only location that needs to look at who handles the tire air check lane. Today was the 3rd time I have been there in the last 30 days where I pulled in to get my air pressure checked and ultimately ended up leaving after sitting there for roughly 20 minutes. This never happens at other locations. Just remove air check lane option all together and don't advertise it if it's something that is no longer an option at this location.

Please train your workers to give accurate information. Also, please train your younger mechanics in people skills. Finally, properly assign workers to provide simple services such as putting air in tires, any time of day it is needed instead of telling the customer (who could be a senior and disabled) they have no one available to do it. I ended up going to TireLink, who gave me fast, friendly, professional service.

The low tire pressure light came on right as I was driving to work. Went to Discount Tire at I10 and Kirkwood. They found the screw and did it for no cost. I was so happy and knew I will be returning for any tire issue.

I always get my tires at Discount Tire. They are getting one star for making so many people wait for so long. With an appointment I had to wait an hour for my car to be seen. What is the point of making an appointment? All in all took 1.5 hours for two tires which were done nicely. Just wish there was a point to an appointment

I came in last week with my tire sensor light on. They checked my tires and measured air. 3 of 4 were low and 1 was really low. They aired up and told me to come back if problems. Well, several days later the light came back on. They brought my car in and inspected further to find out there was a nail in one of the tires. They plugged and put it back on. Very good! Thank you for keeping me safe!

This is the best Discount I've been to. Mike the manager ended up helping me out this last time and saved me a bunch of money and educated me on some things I wasn't aware of. The other time I was here Nico took good care of my wheels and set me up with a great tire and rim combo. Can't say enough about the workers here and how nice they've been over the 4 visits I've had here. I go out of my way to visit this location specifically. The waits are usually faster as well.

Will leave my original review down below but am happy with the latest work on my vehicle. Updates the stars. Appreciate Michael for helping me out and restoring my trust in this company. 💪 After more than 8 years visiting this location, and $6k+ spent on tires for different vehicles, I've finally had enough. One of the last times I was there they scratched the wheels on my Mercedes and I didn't catch it till a few days later as I was under the weather. Recently I went in to ask for a favor regarding a car that was being totaled and they were completely unable to help. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. A shame as they are incredibly convenient to get to :(

Cons: My appointment was for 3pm. I arrived at 2:50. Truck went to bay at ~3:40. I left at 4. Pros: Staff was courteous and turning out vehicles wholesale. I love my tires!

Discount Tire was a absolutely a horrible experience.The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in an excessive wait time despite having an appointment. When they finally got to my vehicle, the service was rushed and sloppy. To make matters worse, they recommended unnecessary upgrades and tried to upsell me on products I didn't need. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else for your tire needs.

Had a nail in a tire on my way to Austin, I stopped there and what an incredible service! They fixed my tire quickly and for free!!!! This is not common in Europe or France where they charge you for everything! I really recommend them! Nice team!!

I am so unsatisfied with the execution of the facility. The employees are nice and helpful but fail to actually finish the job. I went for a low air tire and was told my tire had 2 nails and needed tire asap. They did not have the tire available but were suppose to order them for the next day. When I called the next day to add another tire . No one had placed the order. I explained that the short hispanic guy had saved and was going to place the other at 8am. No one knew what I was talking about. The order had not been save to my profile. I had to call back give them my tire information and the tire never got their till 4pm. By that time I had to go somewhere else and nothing was actually wrong with my tire just needed air .

I was traveling overseas and my wife's car had a slow leak in one wheel. I had checked for punctures and changed the valve internals so knew it wasn't the tire/valve. I sent her in to get new tires with this information and she asked them to check the wheel. They didn't check the wheel, and it came back with missing valve caps. Now after two trips and lots of hours and annoyance/inconvenience from having a car with new tires off the road, they charge me to change the tire on a new wheel I brought down. It's only $22, but pretty bad form in the scheme of things given the inconvenience. If they'd have checked the wheel in the first place as asked it'd be fine, I probably would have bought a wheel off them too to save the inconvenience. I've bought two full sets of tires off them recently, I'll find somewhere else in the future that doesn't waste my time!

Needed 4 new tires for my SUV and this place is just across the Freeway from my business. Nico assisted me and he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Service was completed quickly and they also aired up my spare tire which removed the TPMS dash light. Would definitely recommend this Discount Tire location!

This discounted tires stores is super awesome, I want say thank you to my sale person(#920)( Mr.Reginald D H) and the person that help put on new tires on my cars and person that bring out my car. I was driving on highway with my 3 years son, then around 4 pm,my tires show pressure problem, It was Saturday , so many tires stores closed early today , so when I drive to this store , it’s almost 04:35 pm, and they will be closed at 5 pm, I know most store will refused me as customer bc they are about to closed, but my sale gentleman is super kind , he say me and my son safety is main concern and top priority , not only he understand the need to replace my 4 wheels , but also show me where are the nail located and also point out to me that my front wiper are broken too. He also help me replace all the missing tires caps, I was worry this store can not overtime and have to do this another day, but they are willing to overtime for me, and originally the estimate finished time is 6 pm, and due to I take my 3 years old son with me, he is too active and make all the noisy inside the store, good thing all people working here are so kind , they make the most efficient and finish my 4 tires replacement and two wipers in only 25 minutes, so my 3 years son does not have to wait that long . As a single mom, I am truely appreciate that their efficiency and no biased for their customers and willing to put customer time and safety to top priority , I was about to cry when I see tires are broken and all store are closed and worry for my son safety and have to wait till Monday to fix them . Thankful to this store , I am always the loyal customer in past ten years , they are always so kind for service , but today is just too special and I am truely thankful for the sale person and all the worker that willing to do extra work today for my situation.
