I like Discount tire and have been a long time customer at a different location for many years and several cars. This location while they know how to change tires and repair punctures is very sales pushy and it turns me off. On my wifes van they pressured me into new TPMS sensors and still they are not working right. The more disturbing is my son needed a repair on a tire with a nail and asked to do the rotation while in the shop and they refused because my tire tread is at 5/32 unless I purchased new tires! Also did not acknowledge my wife who was there with our son but instead talked direct to my teenager the whole time. Scheduled with my regular Discount tire location and no problems with tire rotation and no pushing me into tires I don't need at this moment which are still under my warranty and at 1/2 life.

I had taken in a tire that blew on a trailer rim. They told me it would take an hour until they could get to it they had 6 guys working on 1 car. 4 of the guys were sitting around talking. I left tire and rim there and didn’t get a call until about 5 hours later that my tire was done. Made the excuse of “not having enough people in today”. For a new location I would think they would want to take care of costumers in the best way possible not make them wait half a day for a 5 minute tire change.

I’ve got to send out a special THANK YOU to the gentlemen at this store! This has been by far the best experience I’ve ever had with purchasing and maintaining my vehicle’s tires. Recently got new continental run flats for my BMW x3 for a great price! Also, my roommate was able to get his Kia stinger serviced by the help of Robert and team here in July - ran over a pothole and was able to get the tire completely replaced at a fraction of the cost with no headaches. These guys make sure we’re safe and always do their best to have you leave with a smile! Thank you so much Discount Tire @ San Jose !!!

Super professional and fast. Ordered tires for $200 cheaper than the shop next door off the website. Went to my appt and was out of there in less than 30 minutes. They don't hassle you and try to add charges you weren't expecting . Will be back again for tires and other services,

Thank you to the Discount Tire San Jose team for helping me with my Mercedes GL450! I feel even safer on the road now, especially because I have a big family. Not to mention, the customer service is spectacular, as well as the prices! I appreciate the honesty, transparency, quality, & efficiency that was delivered from this exceptional team & management. I will be a returning customer because you can’t beat the quality of the experience as a whole here. After I went to every gas station searching for an air pump at 8am and to my surprise not a single air pump on san Jose actually worked. Well I have been having an issue with 1 new tire for my JDM car and having to pump it up every week or so, anyways I was heading to go buy a pump and drove past this store. The store wasn't busy and it looked nice so I figured hey, let's turn around and go her right quick. So from the moment I walked in the store was immaculate and clean. The clerks were getting everything ready for the morning and I just asked if they could throw some air in my tire. He explained he could if the pressure wasn't to low. He told me to pull my car up and he would take care of it. Anyways this awesome service guy kinda stepped in and took care of it, after all it's his garage, which was immaculate and one of the nicest cleanest garages around. Anyways he discovered a problem with the valve stem and was like hey let me go grab the tool to fix this. He fixed the problem, aired it up to the pressure I requested and sent me on my way. He told me if I had any further issues to come see him, I would 1000% give him my business if I need to purchase a new tire for any reason. He was awesome!!! If a company in this town wants to know how to treat their customers and bring people back, this is the kind of exceptional customer service you should have. If they had charged me I would have gladly paid for it. Best service I've had in a long time hands down.

If Chick-fil-A was a tire shop, it would be this one!! This is my second visit to this discount tire, and both experiences have been outstanding. The shop itself is spotless, the staff is friendly & knowledgeable, and most importantly they provide top-notch customer service. Thank you to both Jake and Robert! It’s refreshing to find a place that runs as smoothly and efficiently as this one. If you want a fast, clean, and affordable service, this is the place to go.

Was in and out in 45 mins (as a Walk-in)! Didn’t try to upsell me on anything, which is a breath of fresh air. And they helped me get a quote together for a future tire purchase. Highly recommend and will be back for future tire needs.

From the time I called because I blew a tire. The person on the phone was extremely helpful and willing to find in my budget. He informed me all about my tire and if they could install my spare. Yet I didn’t know it was original to the car (17years old) informed me they wouldn’t be able to use it. it appeared I needed two tires not just the one… Jake was amazing!! He found everything I needed and stressed the safety of my and my family getting home. He was able to find what I needed within my budget & me and my family are extremely grateful!!!! 100000/10. Will come again & definitely will recommend this location to all friends and family. Thanks again Jake , Sincerely Old Honda :)

Had a wonderful experience getting new tires. Jodie was amazing and very helpful. The crew in the garage were all smiling and could tell they enjoyed their job and performed a cautious but speedy tire change. Hopefully, this location stays awesome as some of the locations seem to get overwhelmed very easily. I definitely will be returning and recommend them for all your tire needs, and the prices are great.

Tire repair and rotation was quick easy (about 30 min) Customer service was awesome! Everyone was friendly and the people in the shop were very knowledgeable. The waiting area is also clean and pleasant with easy access outlets and free WiFi, if you do end up having a longer wait.

We recently purchased tires from the new Discount Tire on San Jose Blvd for our two vehicles. Service was beyond expectations, the price was competitive with other retailers. What sold us was our Sales Rep (Jodie) who was knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He explained all our options and there was no pressure to buy.
