This place is ok, sometimes the sales people are a bit pushy when it comes to tires. Pro tip, ask to see the handheld after they scan your tires. I had a dude tell me that all my tires were a 4, then went to another place, and they were 5's and 6's.

Im here to give a shout out to Matt at the Hampton/Power Rd location. I came in with a tire issue. I had a feeling I was gonna be late to work. But, not only was I not late, but I'm 30 minutes early. New tire, rotation, all aired up & good to go! I was scheduled to be done at 1204, & work starts at noon! He also helpped me out the overall price, prorated. Discount Tires is awesome. My tire had a flat & they fixed it at no charge. 3rd time we’ve used them. They also check tire pressure for free! Awesome service!!! I will definitely buy my tires from them!

Had 4 new tires installed, was very unhappy with them and one of them was installed backwards.... The manager was able to get me new better tires ordered and exchanged no extra cost. Much happier with these new tires.

We had two tires replaced. Within one hour the tire sensor light was on. It was after hours so we couldn't go back. Added our own air to it, no biggie. Checked the tread, no obvious nails or foreign objects. The next morning before carpool it was totally flat. Ugh. When I called the store, Alex asked me a couple questions said, "I think I know exactly what it is. I will come out to your home and check it out." Within 30 minutes he was here, tire was off and 20 min later it was fixed. The air stem, a metal one, wasn't secured fully (it happens) but he fixed it, rebuilt the tire, reinstalled the tire and checked the three other tires air pressure. Total life saver! Thank you so much Alex! You were amazing. So appreciated.

🔹Cutting-corners...conning customers. No-longer the same good-business...more concerned with busy-ness (no more care) into the customer -and- employee. Different owners perhaps?? All I know is they -use- to offer free water bottles in the lobby...as a courtesy...for years...now, no more.🔹Integrity🔹 has left the corporate offices of 'Discount' along with their dignity.

Had an appointment at 12:30. Discount called me at 12 requesting I come in so they can put my car in the bay. I arrived at 12:20 and handed my key to an employee & received no further direction. I wait until 12:45 before I ask for an update, to which they respond that I’m up next. 1 pm rolls around and I ask for an update, to which I’m told that “they didn’t know I was here.” It is now 1:30 and they’re working on my tire rotation still. Mind you, these are three different employees in red shirts (I’m assuming a managerial or team lead position?). None of the associates I spoke with today seemed to be on the same page whatsoever regarding the timing in which my car would be brought in and worked on.

I’ve been a faithful customer for many years. Even after they lost my spare tire and had to buy me a new one. This last visit I made an appointment so I’d be in and out in an hour. Checked and told the girl I had an appt and gave her the time. When called up, told the sales guy I had an appointment and we got started. 3 hours later I’m still waiting! They said I was listed as a walking not as a customer with an appt. Needless to say I’m upset cause I do have other things to do. They didn’t care or even apologize. Talked to manager and he was worse and had a terrible attitude. I was give a slight discount for my troubles after much conversation. Sales guy says this happens all the time, so please make sure they check you in correctly or you’ll wait all day.

Made an appt to have tires balanced and was told it would be an hour wait. Was disappointed being that I had made an appt. But actually only took 30 minutes and they did an awesome job.

My experience was ok but not great. I had an appointment at 11:15 for 4 new tires. They didn’t pull my car into the shop until almost noon. Once my car was pulled into the shop it went quickly. Kaleb helped me and he was polite but I didn’t like that he was trying to sell me a bunch of things I didn’t need when I was already spending over $1300 on new tires. He tried to get me to buy a new spare, new lug nuts, new wipers, and the certificates.

Very unimpressed with the service I have received since Sept 16, 2024. Initially came in for a new tire. Sensors were going off after install and called back and the person answering the phone was very rude and unhelpful telling me I needed all this stuff done to my car like a wheel alignment and new parts to get rid of the tire sensor warning on my car. Recalibrate the sensor which fixes the problem. Came back two weeks later to get the other 3 tires done.later that day sensor went off so I recalibrated.it went off again,recalibrated. In the AM woke up to flat tire! Called discount to make appt,they said not needed theyll look after me asap. So Took it back. Was told to come back in 30 min . Gave them extra time and showed up 40 min later .they still hadn't even taken my car back yet!!!!! So I missed work because of them and my safety was compromised. No apology. No accountability. Absolutely asinine.

Wow, fast, affordable, actually useful insurance offered, I'm duly impressed! Kaleb was super polite, respectful, fast, and seemed to really care about me-- so rare these days when normally treated as just a bag of money. Wish discount tire did other things than just tires! Keep it up, and if you do, I'm a customer for life!

Brock was very helpful in helping me out with my tire when I was in a pinch, gave me multiple options when it turned out I would need a replacement due to the massive bolt in my tire. Also made sure I understood everything that was going on step by step. I definitely recommend this location for anybody on the east side

My SUV notified me of low pressure on the passenger back tire this morning, I drove to DTC at 6:30 a.m. thinking they’d open at 7a.m… shortly after Kaleb walked up to me to let me know they open at 8am and he still proceeded on check the tire for a possible nail from his view… Kaleb had just driven up and had not clocked in, yet… he provided me with directions to wait by the front door, they’ll check my tires at 8a.m. & to make sure I was ok. Thanks Kaleb for providing me with peace of mind, excellent customer service and acknowledging me when you had not even clocked in. My car kept showing a message that the tire pressures were low. With temperatures soaring, Discount Tires had temporarily stopped checking tire pressure. I went in to ask what could be done, since I had to drive home 20 miles on the highway. Chase was very courteous and professional. He checked the tires and said they could take the car in, remove the tire in question and attend to it. Although this was a service extended as a professional courtesy and I was not billed, everyone was very polite and attentive. I was very impressed. Thank you Chase.

Overall I have had positive experiences at the Mesa location on Power and Hampton. But today…. The person filling my tires was rude! I watched as the three cars in front of me were serviced. The person leaned on the cars and nearly sat on the drivers seat of one car, with the female driver in the seat. They did the same to me. Attitude from the second I rolled my window down. Not a “can I open your door to see the sticker”. It was…” open your door “. Then leaned on my seat…. I have severe pain with the slightest touch so I was not happy about that at all!!!! They finished filling the tires saying “all four tires are at 38. I politely asked why my back tire pressure didn’t change to which I was rudely told” we go by the machine not by the vehicle “. It wasn’t the words but the tone. Again…. Attitude from the second I rolled down my window. I tried to ease the tension by telling them, “I’m sorry you’re having a bad day” to which they yelled “what?” I repeated. “I’m sorry you’re having a bad day” they said…” I’m not having a bad day “ Well your attitude said otherwise!!!

Went to the Power and Hampton location and was treated so much better than I was at Midas when I went there prior! They don’t even charge for patchable repairs! How great is that. Miads told me I would have to buy 2 brand new tires. I would definitely recommend discount over any other tire place.
