We had a scheduled appointment for our vehicle. Brought all of my kids went to go eat lunch next-door. Came back after an hour and my car still hasn’t been seen. No apologies from the employees and all of the walk-ins were first priority over my scheduled appointment that should have been 45-60 min. Super disappointed! Grabbed my keys and left.

Car wasn't in the bay until 10 minutes after quoted wait time, making it 40 minutes extra over what I was initially told. No apology or explanation.

The Wright St. location is my go-to and I can only rave about them! I was on Maple today when my tire light went on. Since this location was close, I pulled in, expecting the service to be the same as Wright St. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I waited for close to 5 minutes. No one ever came over to help. I finally gave up, back out of the space between the cones, and left. Luckily I made it to Wright St. without incident and was promptly greeted. Within a couple of minutes, my tires were inflated properly and I was on my way. I’m sad that not all Discount Tire locations are created equal.

Got new tires, they forgot to put a lug nut back on. Scheduled an appointment to get one put on, still missing the lug nut. Wasting everyones time.

I have had 2 separate issues with this location. First and foremost yesterday they broke a stud off on my son‘s car and told me it was perfectly safe to drive until I got it fixed. I totally disagree with this and I’m very disappointed in the service and they didn’t even offer to pay to get it fixed somewhere. If you were going to be in the tire business, you need to be responsible for the damage you do to your customers cars. Last spring I had an issue with the same location when I had tires put on my trailer. The next morning I went out and one of the tires on my trailer was flat. They simply did not seat the bead properly and all of the air ran out of it. I will no longer be doing business with this company as the managers really don’t care about the safety of the service that they are providing to the customer. What they do care about is selling tires and that is it. Highly disappointed don’t believe that this is something with the corporate office would stand for, but the location on Maple Street really needs to get their act together.

Overall I would recommend Discount Tire, but I have had the same issue twice now. I have a heavy duty pickup, so it has higher air pressure in the rear tires than in the front. Today marked the second time that they rotated my tires and didn’t check the air pressure, leaving the wrong pressure in two tires, one of the front tires with too much pressure from previously being on the rear, and one with too low of pressure in the rear, from previously being on the front. This isn’t complicated, nor does it take long to do and get right. It could even be a safety concern, while unlikely, if I were towing or hauling something heavy with too low of pressure in my tires. This shouldn’t be missed at all really. The first time it happened I chalked it up to a fluke, someone was in too much of a hurry. A second time is just unacceptable. While not a really big deal, it’s irritating to have to go back again later to get it corrected. When I call, they seem to not care too much, they just tell me to bring it back. I expect them to take it seriously and fix the issue. Make sure your techs are completing ALL of the work the right way.

Came in to get nail out of tire they said my tires are to bald to do it which I understand but he gave me a price I looked them up at Walmart and they was cheaper and I told Nolan that and wanted to see if I could get a better deal he just stood there didn’t say a thing! So I didn’t get helped at all! Not happy!!

I am very upset with the service. The salesperson just looked at the tire and told me to replace it. He didn’t care to address my actual issue, which was a flat tire. Instead, he started telling me what could happen if I didn’t replace the tires, even though my tire still has half its life left. After hearing that, I went to a nearby air pressure check station to put air in the tire. The technician there looked at my tire and said he thought the tires were okay but wasn’t sure what the exact issue was. He asked me to bring the car back if the problem continued. Very dishonest salesperson—seems like they don’t care about the customer at all.

Im giving them a 5 star because their service is awesome, setting up an appointment was easy and the balancing they did was better then most other places ive ever gone to so overall id say top teir service but if your a tire junkie and know a bit about tires like i do you may wonder why the tire wasnt mounted right since it can make the balancing easier on the techs or maybe it slipped but all my tires were installed with what a tire tech sees as a yellow dot not lined up with my valve stems its just a minor gripe that doesnt matter but figured id say it just for those that know what the dot is for and maybe so they can see this review and learn from it that dot typically gets put right next to the valve stem for ease of balancing.

Tonight, my wife called me on her way home. She kept hearing a clicking noise. I told her she probably had a nail in the tire. She got home at 5:30 p.m., and Discount Tire was closing at 6 p.m. So, I first called Firestone as they were closing at 7 p.m. Firestone said they had no one there to do it as they were short-staffed. So, we got to Discount Tire at 5:50 p.m. The person that helped, Gabriel, was amazing. I asked if they could fix the tire. She said absolutely. She took my keys, went to get information for our vehicle, and asked us a couple of questions. Then, they started working on our car. At 6:30, the technician that worked on our car came in and said, "We are all done. Here are your keys." I told her, "Thanks so much for working late." Then, I asked for our bill. They said, "It was a pleasure. This was free today." I was totally impressed, as that was so unexpected. After I went to my car, I went back to make sure to give her a tip for all the great help and going above and beyond. If I need anything done to our vehicle around tires, this will be the only place I will go. OUTSTANDING JOB, GUYS!

Easy to schedule an appointment and nice folks, but when I arrive at 9:05 for a 9:15 tire rotation appointment and then they don’t take my car back to perform the service until 10:05, and it only takes them 15 minutes to complete the service- it doesn’t make me very happy. Why did it take an hour to get my car in the stall when I had an appointment?

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Unacceptable Treatment and Service I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the service my wife and I received at your location. Unfortunately, this experience was not just subpar—it was genuinely distressing and reflective of poor business practices that should be addressed immediately. Recently, I drove over a nail at a construction site, which resulted in a punctured tire. Due to my work commitments, I took my wife's car to work and sent her to your location to have the tire patched. Instead of addressing the issue, your staff attempted to sell her not one but two new tires, claiming that neither could be serviced. Despite the fact that the other tire was perfectly fine, they insisted it also needed replacement. This was particularly troubling, given that my car is relatively new with only 27,000 miles on it. When I spoke to your staff directly, the person on the phone was incredibly rude. When I asked why both tires needed replacement, he condescendingly responded, "For the same reason you had to replace the other two." This comment was not only unhelpful but also dismissive of my valid concerns. To provide some context, about six months ago, I had to replace two tires after briefly driving on a median, which resulted in them popping. I explained this to your staff, and instead of acknowledging the difference, he simply said, "Well, either way, the tread is not great and needs to be replaced." This blanket statement was clearly an attempt to upsell rather than address the actual condition of the tires. When I asked them to simply patch the tire, they refused, citing "safety" concerns. Fine, but when I then asked if they could at least put air in the tire so my wife could safely drive home, they agreed—only for another employee to contradict this. He claimed, "It needs to be replaced right now," and added, "My machine won’t allow me to put air on something with less than 12 PSI." This is a tire place, and they don't have a compressor to put air in a tire? It was unbelievable. Ultimately, my wife had to drive the car to Jensen Tire a few blocks away, where they fixed the tire without any issues. The contrast in service was stark and highlights just how poorly this situation was handled by your staff. It is unacceptable for your team to try to take advantage of a woman in need, and this reflects poorly on your business as a whole. Management needs to take this seriously, as I have read multiple reviews on your website describing similar experiences. This pattern of behavior cannot continue. I hope you will address this matter promptly and ensure that no other customers have to endure such a frustrating and disappointing experience

My first encounter with this company was in Manhatten Kansas. I woke in the morning with a flat at the hotel. I put the spare on and found a discount tire. I asked for an estimate to fit my flat. They pulled my car in, fixed the flat, put the spare and jack away, and didn't charge me a penny. That was 5 years ago. Since then, I have put a set of tires on four of my family's vehicles. I have had no problems or complaints until today. It is a minor complaint, but it is a necessary one. I had an appointment for 10:45 this morning. I was here at 10:35, and my truck just got pulled in at 11:48. I do not see the advantage of booking an appointment. Other than this one issue, I have had nothing but good experiences with everything from their products to their service.

Had a little hiccup with a tire repair. Took car back and seemed to be a miscommunication regarding appointment to repair but David reached out to me, made a new appointment. I was in and out within 20 minutes. So impressed with the customer service I received and the way they made me feel like a valued customer!!

Took vehicle in for slow leak. Waited for awhile which is no problem. Came back and said that the nail was too close to the sidewall. I just had a feeling they wanted to sell me a tire. One tire for my vehicle runs $435. I wanted another opinion. I went to a small shop in Blair a friend has dealt with for 20 years and knows they are honest. The nail could not of been more dead center. The scary thing is I’ve bought new tires in this situation before and many many sets of tires from discount tire over the years. I will never ever go back. It’s sad they have to run a scam on their customers.

Unfriendly team, rude and even impolite. Long waiting time despite having scheduled the service beforehand. They seem to work in a place where they don't want to be. I approached my vehicle during the service and was rudely told to stay away. I won't return and I do not recommend their service.

Visited those location to have a tire with a low leak inspected. Routine job. Guy at the desk came out to look at the vehicle. Tires are less than 6 months old, and he agreed to take a look, but he followed up by saying that "if there is anything wrong with the tire, we won't be able to put it back on, and you'd have to buy a new tire from us." I told him if that was the case, they could just put the spare on. He said because the vehicle was a 2012, "we can't put the spare on a vehicle that age". Yeah... tell me you don't want new business without saying it out loud. They only want to sell you a new tire or make an excuse not to do repairs on existing tires. Save yourself the hassle. Don't go there for tire repairs.

Wow ran over something driving down the road. Slapped on the spare, also from Discount, and finished the job I was on. Rolled into Omaha and hit the nearest Discount. They told me this location had my tire. Showed up and they jumped right on it. Also the tech told me I was due for rotation and they handled that too. I make my living driving my truck all over the country. Discount keeps me moving no matter what state I am in!! Rylan is the tech who took care of me!!!!

BEWARE- had my tires rotated, during the removal of the back tire, one of the bolts were stripped. Upon completing the rotate and balance, they left the lug nut off. When I asked about it, they said you’ll be okay without one or even two? Internet says otherwise. Also, the tire was put on by Discount Tires during the last rotation! May have to look elsewhere, quality of service has declined

Don’t even know what to say….. wife scheduled appointment to have a tire repaired with nail in it. She shows up and they tell her they can not work on the vehicle because there is something wrong with the suspension and tires were wearing unevenly? Keep in mind the vehicle is a 2022 and has. Less than 20k miles on it. My wife thinking something wrong with her vehicle takes it dealership. They find nothing wrong with suspension or alignment on vehicle. They repaired the tire…… managed to spend a whole day to get a simple tire repair completed. Thank you
