I have been going to the one in East Orlando off Alafaya Trail for years. It is always great customer service. I just went in to get new tires and Alex who sold me the tires was great to work with. I will tell anyone i know who needs tires to ask for him. I hope this gets back to his boss and he gets noticed for doing a good job. I will continue to be a customer. Thank you

Quoted directly from website: ‘If you're ever not satisfied with your purchase, bring it back and we will make it right. That is our promise.” Need to return tires purchased here for a refund due to excessive road noise, they refused. They offered to exchange and then refused me AGAIN. They then offered to exchange only based on their tire selection and not my own. That’s not how it works... they’re just giving me any BS reason to not accept the return. Do not spend your money here…

Came here around the end of August and had tires ordered from tire rack come here. I assumed because tire rack recommended discount tire that the service would be great however the only thing that was great was the time it took for said service. When I got my car back immediately I went around to check the wheels and noticed there was a huge scratch going around the rim of my wheel and the one of the techs said “it looks like it was repainted and it came off” when in fact the rotiforms were never repainted. They just scratched it with the tire machine. I just took the loss and kept it moving Fast forward to today, I rotated my tires during my oil change and noticed at 70 mph I got crazy shaking in my car. Took it to mavis tire shop in St. Cloud while I was there and they told me the rear wheels (now rotated to the front) were unbalanced. So that means that discount tire didn’t properly balance the tire and put them in the back so that I wouldn’t notice and I had to spend an additional $140 to balance all of the wheels the proper way. Would not come here again

I sat here and watched the guys change the tires on my 2021 Model Y. You can watch them thru the windows. The desk staff were friendly and informative. Teslas use these “puck” things for jack points - they took the time to use floor jacks and those pucks, which was a fear for me. (Horror stories of people just throwing the teslas up on lifts and damaging the battery cells…) The overall tire change was quick, and the guys on the floor were quick to communicate to me and to one another as needed. They used a real, actual torque wrench to torque my wheels to spec when done. Maybe I’m easy to please, but the pucks, the communication, and the actual use of a for-real-life torque wrench instead of “brrrr until it breaks..” makes me really pleased with my service.

DO NOT COME HERE they will literally lie through their teeth and tell you your tires arent covered under warranty so you can spend $900 all over again on a new set of tires

So just had an adventure with Discount Tires Alafaya Trails. Replaced 2 of the 4 tires. The worn set was on the front. We asked them to replace the front tires with the new tires. So they put the new tires on the rear and moved the older worn tires to the front. Against our request. Got the vehicle home, found they didn’t follow instructions and asked them why they didn’t put the new tires on the front. The service manager proceeded to explain, you get better traction with the new tires on the rear. I asked on a front wheel drive vehicle? He said yes. So I asked him again, so you’re telling me worn treaded tires get better traction than a new set of tires. He said yes, because you get better traction with new treaded tires on the rear of the vehicle. Which is their standard answer. I believe science would challenge this knowledge. And yes, depending on the “expert” you’re listening to. Will tell you, you get better traction with new treaded tires on the rear of a front wheel drive vehicle. Their reasoning is the new tires will hold the road better in wet conditions and prevent swerving. Well there’s a difference between hydroplaning and swerving. I’ve never in all my years of driving had a set of rear tires hydroplane, never, ever. Hydroplaning is when a tire looses it’s ability to channel water away from the tire tread and allows the tire to ride on the water wave it creates as the tire passes over the road that is saturated with water. I would never put new tires on a the front of a front wheel drive vehicle. It’s also proven by his lack of knowledge at Discount Tires. The service manager has never driven on snow. Older worn front tires vs new tires will leave you stranded on snow covered roads.

In the last 2 years, both my wife and I have bought tires here for her Mazda and my Hyundai and the service and personnel are all top notch. But nothing has shown me how exceptional this location is until today. Six years ago, I'd bought tires for my S-10 truck from another business about 2 miles north of Discount Tire. I had a slow leak in 1 and took it back there to be fixed and have them rotated. The freakish looking rep, who looked like an extra from a Nine Inch Nails video, looked at the tire and stated that it needed to be replaced at my expense. I stated that I'd bought the road hazard coverage so this should not be a charge. The rep looked at his system and told me I could not be found, resulting in my looking through the accumulated paperwork in the glove compartment for the original purchase receipt. I brought it in to substantiate my claim but another rep said that, as the tires were about 6 years old, the road hazard was no longer valid. I was steamed as there was nothing on the receipt as to that exception, so I said I'd go elsewhere. The rep said, "So go elsewhere." So, I went to Discount where I'd always been well treated and spoke to Luis who listened to my story, checked the tire and said he believed it could be fixed, but cautioned me that the tires were aged in the Florida heat and that they should be replaced soon. My tire was fixed and, AT NO CHARGE! I was ready to pay but Luis said that it was free. I was both surprised and elated. Luis - and, for that matter - all the Discount Tire personnel - seemed to know that the best way to keep a customer coming back is to treat him or her well. I will be coming back for new tires in about 2 or 3 weeks as everyone here has treated me well. BTW, if Luis' boss is reading this, give this man a raise, a bonus, a promotion, or - at least - an "ATTABOY." Regards from a happy customer.

Today, we replaced six tires for my motorhome. It is the first time I used Discount Tire service. Their services impressed on me! They did professional and excellent work! And the price is the best! Got my recent set of tires from here. Great service everytime (balancing, rotation, inflation). Studs for the lug nuts broke once and I was immediately sent to their preferred shop who took care of everything.

Great experience at “Discount Tire”. Clean, busy business. ( I love when I see a business that is busy. Tells me that their work is good and customers word of mouth draws people there ) I Booked online. Showed up on time and was met by a friendly employee. Was told the tire replacement would take about 1 hour. 35 minutes later, my vehicle was pulled up to the waiting room door and I was on my way home. Would definitely recommend “Discount Tire” 👍🏼

I had a frustrating experience at Tired Discount. I went in for a tire rotation, but they REFUSED to do the service claiming my tires needed to be replaced. The scanner showed 3 tires were on the yellow line and 1 in green but they didn’t mention any visible issues like cracks or signs of damage because there are not present. To make matters worse, they didn’t even check the tire pressure before leaving the place. I purchased four tires there along with an extended warranty in 2022 that includes free rotations. Given that my tires have only 45,000 miles out of a 55,000-mile warranty, I expected better service. They also refused to provide a printout of my tire inspection and an estimate for new tires. It really felt like they were more interested in upselling than in providing honest care.

Poor service and poor communication. I bought four wheels and four new tire pressure sensors from discount tire and paid for their installation. They charged me $60 per tpms sensor and the rims were around $150 per. Then the installation cost was $22 per wheel, so just under a thousand dollars. On their first attempt they glued weights in two different places on two of the wheels and left residue from weights they erroneously placed and had to remove and place again. They also installed something that looked like regular value stems when I paid $240 for new tpms sensors. They also decided to keep my old rims even when I asked they be put in the trunk. On their second attempt they cleaned up the glue residue and rebalanced the wheels (who really knows based on the performance I’ve seen so far.), replaced the rubber valve stems with metal ones, and gave me my rims back. When putting my rims in the trunk the technician scratched TF out of my rear bumper. Of course they take no responsibility for it even though I showed them the receipt that I just had the car painted, literally picked it up the same day I had the rims put on. This company used to be the top and I would only spend money with them. Seems times have changed indeed. Thanks for showing your true character DTC fam. Guess we should see other people.
