I give this a 5 star rating because of Marco. I originally called looking for a quote on tires and, I spoke to Vincent who I thought was very rude on the phone. I could not hear him and I told several times, he said well I don't have that problem on my end. I discovered through speaking with him if I was on speaker and I asked and he said I was. You would think he would have picked up the phone so we good communicate better. He did not. Vincent shouldn't be answering phones. I had a good experience with Marco on the phone he was polite and customer service oriented. When they did replace our tires they were supposed to put on new wiper blades which did not happen. I had to make a second trip and Marco helped us and he had the wiper blades in less than 2 mins. Marco should get a raise! Marco offset the earlier not so good experience I had with Vincent. Therefore I give a rating of 5.

Customer service has gone down hill I’ve encountered the same associate twice. Who has told me on two occasions on different vehicles that I have suspension issues not tire problems. I’ve taken my vehicle’s to alignment shop per his recommendation and found out there is no problem with suspension or alignment issues with both vehicles. I came in with a screw in my tire he said that they won’t be able to fix the tire because it’s worn uneven Jack Furriers across the street fixed the tire for me. Even though I’ve purchased certificates and tires have worn early before their mileage warranty. Discount was Happy to try to sell me 4 new tires and windshield wiper blades. I will never ever return to Discount Tire not for free Air,Free Repair, or future tires. I actually plan on taking the tires off my other vehicle replacing them and setting them in front of your business so you guys can have them back.

Have had numerous bad interactions with this location and today is no different. Called the day prior to get a replacement tire for my vehicle under the warranty I purchased (one that is offered for free else where). Before asking what tire it is that has the issue the representative tells me to come on down and we would get it taken care of. I remark how he doesn't even know which tire it is I need replaced. Guess what, they didn't have the tire in stock, but would be getting it in tomorrow. I'm told that I would be called when the shipment comes in so I can get my tire replaced. Fast forward to 2pm the next day, I still haven't received the call so I call them back. Tire is in the shop now. I feel this location was attempting to get me to come in when the tire wasn't in stock so they could attempt to sell me a different tire, possibly 2. They failed to call me as they said they would and worst of all, now being past 2 and the shop is busy, I'll be here until 4pm for a simple tire replacement. They did suggest replacing lug nuts with broken caps (not sure why vehicle manufacturers are allowed to use cheaper and breakable lug nuts), so 1 bonus star for that. I would recommend a different tire shop due to the deceitful practice and lack of communication. Update: they were able to get it done around 3pm, so bonus star for the quick service

If you’re a woman I wouldn’t recommend. I was absolutely swindled by the man who helped me. He up charged me for everything including warranties I did not want. I had to pay before the service occurred, as well which has never been the case. Please avoid.

I don’t understand why there’s a need for a back-and-forth with employees during air checks. All that should be required is knowing the correct tire pressure for my vehicle. Why does it turn into a debate? When I request a manager after such an unnecessary exchange, the response should not be a refusal. If Discount Tire wants my repeat business, I strongly suggest retraining and coaching for the staff. This is the same team that once installed a new tire on a cracked rim without informing me. Improvements need to be made.

Came in to get tired repaired. I was immediately greated by Jacob Nicholas. He took a look at the tire and was very honest from the beginning and let me know that it may not be able to be repaired, luckily they were able to repair my tire and it was free to get a plug and patch, they also checked all tire pressure before driving off. Thank you Jacob.! Highly recommended for any tire service

I had a very positive experience when a customer service representative promptly approached my vehicle and provided immediate assistance. I had recently encountered a flat tire on the freeway, and during the repair process, it was determined that the damage was too extensive, necessitating new tires. Within 30 minutes, I was ready to go, which was remarkably efficient at the Kolb and Golf Links location in Tucson, AZ. In contrast, my previous experience at the Houghton and Old Vail location in Tucson took nearly 2 to 3 hours, even with an appointment, and included issues with missing tire caps.

Such scammers, insane. Went in to buy cheap tire as I had a flat but I am broke but they INSISTED my almost new 8,000 mile car needed all new tires. would NOT give me back my key when i said i’m going to other discount tire in vail as they won’t try to convince me to get all new tires on my one year old vehicle or try to gas light me I need new windshield wipers. And we should not be begged to get new wipers in another car when we go to get our tire pressure checked. Tell me your business is only about money not customer service without telling me. GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE IN VAIL ON HOUGHTON! much more personal customer service and actually care about you

Fast, you can see they work hard, but shortcuts are taken. Tire marks not aligned with valve stems and tire pressures set 14psi over manufacturer recommendations(drove like a tank). Same experience with previous vehicle, but shrugged it off.

I needed a set of new tires for my Toyota Sequoia, so I dropped by this Discount Tire location. The 8am opening already had a crowd waiting outside in the warm morning sun. The manager and his crew were ready for the mob that poured in as soon as the doors were unlocked, they did a nice job of managing the customers. I was #6, and within minutes, I selected from my options and my knew tires were installed quickly and without any up selling tactics. I drove away happy, and satisfied with my experience!
