I hate to leave this kind of review, but unfortunately my experience with Division Auto Clinic has had some problems. My front right tire got a flat, came in after swapping in the donut no problem, and they gave me a "basically new" tire for $50. I was pleased and left. However, a few days later that tire was a lil deflated, and when I tried to access the air valve to inflate it, i realized that the hub cap was reinstalled wrong which not only meant I couldn't access it, but it pressed against the valve making it constantly slowly leak air. I then looked at the nuts to fix the cap, but one of the bolts was now tilted at a diagonal so I couldn't remove the nut. I had to crowbar the hub cap away to access the valve to fill the tire back up, and when I went back to this shop to ask about it the gentleman said it would take about 200 dollars to fix a problem that, as far as I can see, was caused by them as neither the hub cap nor the tire bolt had any issues. Since I couldn't afford that, I had to tough it out and once every like two weeks I have to crowbar the hubcap off and squeeze the tire pump nozzle underneath it just to fix it. Now, it's been a few months of this struggle and the brakes only for that front right tire are SMOKING and the caliper is getting stuck in contact. Every other tire is fine, all my other brakes are fine. I've had nothing but problems with only this tire since that day, and I'm not happy that when I came in complaining about the bolt that they bent in the first place that they tried charging me for it.

A trustworthy and quality mechanic is worth their weight in gold. This is hands down the best mechanic I have ever gone to. Milton is my go to guy whenever something goes wrong with my car. I have taken my car to him several times and they are always very quick with their turn around. Most importantly, Milton is one of the most honest and kind individuals I have ever met. He thoroughly explains what is going on with your car, so even if you do not understand cars well (I do not), you will understand the issue. He presents you every possible option of what can be done and is incredibly reasonable with the cost. I could not recommend Milton and Division Auto Clinic enough. My brother has also taken his car there several times and was thoroughly impressed. If you are having any issues with your car whatsoever, this is the place to go to. No hesitation. They are also a small, family owned business, which I always love to support!

Great mechanics. They clearly explained what was wrong with my car and which repairs were needed. They were super fair and forthcoming about the price of parts and labor. My brakes are working great after a near total replacement. Definitely recommend.

Terrible work, I did change my clutch and everything came out wrong, missing connected cables, screws missing, the clutch not feeling good either. And it lasted 1 year, right now I’m stuck in the highway waiting for a tow truck, I would never recommend this place.

Charged 300 for parts and 400 for labor to replace my battery. Repair took 11 days. 700 Total, my power windows no longer work on passenger side, and items were missing from the vehicle. Dishonest mechanic

I've had the WORST time trying to get my vehicle back from Milton. When I dropped it off he quoted a price and gave me an estimate on time (1 week). Over the week, I could not get in touch with him for any updates nor did he contact me to approve his changing prices. When I was able to go to the shop in person, 8 days later, Milton said it would be 1 more day and that they had issues and the price had doubled. I suspect that the "new issue" they found was something they broke, as the new issue was with a part that had always functioned reliably. I tried to ask them to stop and return the vehicle so I could have the extra work done elsewhere (I no longer wanted to work with them for obvious reasons) and that is when Milton told me they had already started work Long story short my bill doubled, as did the work time, all without ever attempting to contact me. Very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism

Despite the high price of $800, my car broke down within 20 minutes after leaving the shop. This breakdown was not just a minor hiccup; AAA had to tow my car away because the wiring harness around the alternator had come off completely, indicating poor workmanship. Furthermore, there was a deviation from standard payment procedures. The mechanic suggested paying him directly, rather than through the recommended Openbay process, citing quicker vehicle release as the reason. This led to an uncomfortable situation where I now have to question the integrity of the transaction, along with the quality of the repair service. For a service that claims to offer convenience and reliability, this experience was far from acceptable. Potential customers should be wary of any deviation from payment processes, and mechanics who do not honor the quality of service promised.

After multiple attempts to contact them for an estimate I finally get a return call 3-4 days later giving no estimate on my message or appointment time, so I call 2 more days the 2nd day back to back then person answers with a cut and dry attitude hear that I'm a female and charge me double than the actual price, not professional nor business oriented and if you a female they are going to rob you without a gun. #BeVeryCautious even if you are a man with no automotive experience

I had been looking for a mechanic to work on my car that did good reliable work and that wasn't too expensive and honest. I have an older car so I expected a few problems, with the work I needed done they had my car in and out way sooner and way cheaper than the dealership or other places I went too. Milton was polite very informative about what I needed done he gave me options and the price wasn't too bad. I ended up spending more money than from the original diagnosis because I needed to replace the parts that appeared to be ok in the beginning that ended up being bad and a recommendation he gave me I chose to get it done while he still had my car. I will definitely do business here again and highly recommend this shop to friends and family

If I could give Milton & the DAC crew 10 stars I would. 5 years ago, I lived near Division Auto Clinic and my 05 Lexus RX330 needed brakes repaired. Milton tells you exactly what needs to be done, has never tried to "upsell me", has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the years. My 05 Lexus had around 150K Miles when I first started going to DAC. Since then I have had problems with Radiator, Power Steering Lines, Clock Spring, Entire Suspension, Major Rust Problems, Collision Issues, Oil Changes, Belt Problems etc. I have a friend who runs the repair center at a local Lexus Dealer, I ONLY take it to Lexus when I need an Alignment. My Lexus mechanic will run the diagnostics after I go to Milton and he is beyond impressed with the work Milton's crew has done. I am currently running strong at 237K Miles and Milton provides me with true honesty of the pro's and con's of pumping money into the car vs buying a new one and the cheap routes of keeping my Lexus alive. I currently live 5 miles North and will only drop my Lexus off at Division Auto Clinic. Milton is the best in the business. With his help, my Lexus dealer mechanic said I should be able to easily reach 350K Miles. I've seen high end Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Range Rover etc. being working on in his shop. IYKYK!!!! Milton is the man when it comes to everything you need in a severely honest and fair mechanic! I was only visiting town and he was able to help get my car in and fixed right away within the time frame he mentioned. Plus you can’t beat his prices! All the Chicago homies come hither here! The worst place to fix your car. I don't recommend this place at all. I had a very bad experience trusting this "mechanical." My car needed to replace the engine. Supposedly it was going to take 2 to 3 weeks. I just ended up waiting about 4 months for it to be ready. I paid around $4,000 because I supposedly needed a new alternator and hoses. In the end. I hand it over after 5 months. I handled it for 3 months and the engine broke down again. They took the car to their workshop and inspected it and the manager said that I couldn't Covering the composure that the car was overheated by some hoses that were wrong (hops that they removed and reinstalled) so as not to make the story so long did not comply with the 6-month warranty he promised when he insisted on paying a little more for an engine with fewer miles and supposedly it would last more pure lies they just wanted to charge more Avoid this place at all costs! El peor lugar para arreglar tu carro no recomiendo para nada este lugar tuve una muy mal experiencia al confiar en este “mecánico” mi carro necesitaba remplazar el motor supuestamente se iba a tomar de 2 a 3 semanas solamente termine esperando como 4 meses para que estuviera listo pague alrededor de $4000 por que supuestamente necesitaba un nuevo alternador y mangueras al final me lo entrego después de 5 meses lo maneje por 3 meses y el motor se descompuso de nuevo se llevaron el carro a su taller y lo inspeccionaron y el encargado dijo que no podia cubrir la compostura que el carro se avía sobre calentado por unas mangueras que estaban mal ( mangueras que ellos quitaron y reinstalaron ) para no hacer la historia tan larga no cumplió con los 6 meses de garantía que prometio al aver insistido en pagar un poco más por un motor con menos millas y supuestamente durara mas puras mentiras solo querían cobrar mas. Eviten a toda costa este lugar!

This is the worse mechanic shop we have taken our car to. We went to do some business in that area, saw the shop went in and asked Milton if he could repair our 2006 Maxima, he said bring the car. Tripple A dropped the car off going on 4 months now and Milton has yet to repaired the car or even picking up the phone when we call to find out what is the problem. We are in the process of calling the authorities on him. Stopped by his shop on Saturday 4/23/22, at 10am, the shop was closed and our car was not on the outside. .Need our car, too much mileage is going on our BMW due to Milton.
