I moved to Kansas City in May 2024 and needed to get my vehicles inspected for titling. After calling several places, D&M Automotive was the only one able to help immediately. Their warm and welcoming service made a truly great first impression. When my 2015 Equinox needed major repairs, I didn’t hesitate to call them. They did absolutely excellent work at a very reasonable price, and my car now drives like new. Recently, I needed a minor repair on my 2019 Silverado, and they got me in the next day. The staff was professional and very friendly, making the short wait more than enjoyable. I highly recommend D&M Automotive. Big thank you to the team!

Had my car for weeks before touching it. At the promised date it would be ready, the shop was closed. By the sign on the door, it had been all week. I received zero communication that the shop would be closed or that my car wouldn't be ready on time. Expected to receive it on the 25th, didn't get contacted about it until the 29th. Promised they'd start on it that week and it would be ready within three days of starting on it. It's now the 6th of the next month and we we've been told it's almost ready, one more day, day after day. I have never received worse service or worse communication in my life. I could not recommend this shop less. Edit: Owner called me to harass me about this review and had nothing but excuses and lies, tried desperately to avoid taking ownership of it taking over a month to do a three day repair Edit: They returned my car after replacing the transmission with the check engine light on for a transmission issue. Absolutely unbelievable. Had my car for six weeks and didn't even fix the damn thing.

Alternator replacement. Towed in before 9am, out before 5pm. Price was reasonable, in the ballpark of what I was expecting. Friendly receptionist, but expect to hear "hello" when calling. Maybe follow that up with D&M Automotive? I wasn't sure if I had called someone's personal number or a place if business. Anyway, I recommend and will be a return customer when the need arises.

EXTREMELY disappointed in the communication we've received. They have had our car for weeks for a repair under our warranty, it was promised to us that it would be done today. My husband and I have been calling since 10am with no answer and no return phone calls. They are closed over the weekends, so the utter lack of a response on a Friday is unacceptable. We have 3 small children we can't just haul 20 minutes over there if the car isn't even ready. UPDATE: My husband went to the shop to check on our car and there is a sign on the door saying they are closed until Oct 22nd. It is still up today, the 25th. Unknown if they ever opened at all this week. There was never any update whatsoever to either of us that our car would be delayed.

My friend had my car for a few weeks and it halted on the highway, him being ignorant he took it here. D&M charged 1200 dollars to replace a fuel pump on the car (insanely high) 2011 Hyundai sonata and stated it’s not working still and they’d need to do another diag fee to see what’s wrong with it went with my gut not trusting the car in their care. Took it to another shop and the car was just out of gas lol can’t make this stuff up.

For the short period of time that I was there it seemed to be a very friendly atmosphere and good people did not meet none of the mechanics only the receptionist that new some of my family members which was cool but all in all we didn't get any codes off of the diagnostics so back to driving it again and see if the codes will pop back up again and go from there I will be giving this place a try again but for now. That truck of mine has me stumped yippee!!!!! I will be giving a shout out thank you very much for what day have accomplished this far which leaves me empty-handed It ain't there fault!!!! damn computers so we'll live for another day hopefully my truck will live or give it up and just break down and not leave me stranded anywhere!!! I took my work van in for what I thought was a timing chain issue. Thankfully they did a thorough diagnostic and found that all I needed was some rewiring of a poor wiring job and now my van run perfectly. They also saved me a boat load of money. They took money out of their pocket to fix my van correctly. That goes a long way for me. I will definitely be back in the future for all of my vans needs

D&M really went above and beyond for us from making sure we got in quickly for our services to ensuring everything would be done in as timely a manner that they could control. I originally took my vehicle in to Midas who really does overprice for everything. They didn’t even catch all of the issues that D&M did. We are a single car family so any time our vehicle needs maintenance is stressful. My only complaint and I’m sure it was a mistake was that there was no communication that our vehicle needed another day for work. I noticed how busy they were so understood that mistakes happen.
