I took my car to this Dobbs Tire location to repair a leak in one of the tires. I arrived late in the day and without an appointment and, even though it took them a little longer than I expected to do the work, all things considered, they did a good job and at a very reasonable price. I was surprised they even balanced the tire at no additional cost.

I wish there would have been a heads up that if my service engine light was on, I was going to pass my emissions test. I am very new to Missouri and had I know that I would not have taken the car in and gotten that fixed before hand.

7 hours to get it right. I came in for a rotation and balance, the Jeep was driving fine when I came in. They said I needed alignment, and when I drove away it was pulling hard left. A few hours later they said it was good, and there was a terrible vibration from 60 to 70. They put me “back in line” and 3 hours later I was done. Ruined my Saturday for a 1 hour MAX job!

I waited 20 minutes before someone came out of the back came to the counter to help me. I did show up a little early for my appointment. The mechanic said it would take a hour to get my emissions test done. I thought that was a little long, but it only took a half hour.

As always left feeling I was given an honest and reliable service visit. I have been bringing my vehicles here for service, mostly tires, oil changes and inspections for 20 years. Quick in and out, the men are always polite and not pushy. This review must have been from a decade ago. I have had nothing but issues for the past 4 years since the change of staff.

Took my wife’s car to get looked at as it was leaking coolant. After a diagnostic it was recommended we replace the radiator. I thought that was strange as the car had its radiator replaced 15 months ago so I took it to another shop and turns out it was a simple hose that needed to be replaced. Was quoted $2011 for the radiator at Dobbs vs the $400 for the hose issue. I’ve used Dobbs before on previous cars and have never had issues but the South County location was a disappointment.

I had a screw located in the middle of my front left tire. I arrived at around 8:30 A.M. on September 14th for an unscheduled appointment at the Dobbs located at #6 South County Shopping Center, St. Louis, 63129. The staff had my tire repaired within a short amount of time. I am a very happy customer!

Had a flat tire upon Saturday chores and shopping and asked Google for the nearby tire repair shop and was sent to the Dobbs at south county shopping center and the guys were efficient and timely in the repair while I watched the Olympics for the duration and had good conversation with the management an all around good experience

I recently had a blow out, luckily, I was able to maintain control of my vehicle, fortunately no injuries occurred, and I made it safely to a secure place. I opted to have Roadside Assistance tow my vehicle to the Dobbs South County facility because the staff have been always helpful and service my vehicle without issue. When I arrived by the tow truck, I discovered the facility did not have the brand of tire on my vehicle while the tow truck driver was still present, but the Manager named Jon was willing to go to another facility to get that same type of tire per my request. Jon arranged for one of their auto technicians to travel & pick up the desired tire. Shortly, after the arrangements were made, I realized my phone was not in my possession; I asked Asst Mgr. or Office Lead who was also named Jon to unlock my vehicle so I could get my phone. I checked my vehicle, but I couldn't locate the phone. I went back in to have him call my number while I checked again, it was not in vehicle, also confirmed my smartwatch. When I went back inside, I asked to use their phone, so I called my phone & Roadside Assistance to contact the driver. I was permitted to use their second office phone during my attempts to retrieve my phone while Jon, Asst Mgr. even called my phone# when he was not assisting customers & available. It was about an hour or so before the driver was reached which was due to the diligent efforts of Jon, as my phone was on vibrate mode. I was elated. He asked the driver if he was able to come back to the store and bring me my phone, the tow truck driver was assigned a call of which he was enroute. Jon even asked the driver if he could inquire with his company if that service call could be reassigned to expedite the return of my cellphone, but driver was unable at that time. I spoke to the driver and obtained his contact info as my previous attempts went to voicemail. My vehicle was ready before my phone was retrieved, and I received a discount on the service. Jon, Asst Mgr. was friendly and conversed with me the entire time which kept my mind at ease throughout the ordeal. I used their phone again to call the tow truck driver to meet up. Shortly after getting my phone back, I called Dobbs & Jon, Asst Mgr. answered I told him that I got my phone back right after I left, and he notified me that my husband had called to check up on me & informed that I left to retrieved phone. Dobbs South County went above and beyond to assist me by providing exceptional service. The staff truly care.

My son took his car in on July 31st for a check engine light and tire repair. I don't even know where to begin with this one. First, they didn't even retrieve the trouble code. How can it be possible to diagnose a problem without pulling the code? Secondly, they told him his engine has an internal failure, which it doesn't. It did have a noise, which was a defective water pump which was leaking and was noted, but a worn out water pump bearing sounds nothing like an internal engine failure. Thirdly, they told him he had a major oil leak, which was only partially accurate. The oil was being forced out of the PCV valve due to a defective check valve in the intake manifold which they would've discovered had they taken the time to pull the code that caused the check engine light. They then told him they wouldn't repair his tire because the "internal engine failure" made the car unsafe to drive. REALLY? So they sent him down the road with his tire still leaking. I live three hours away. I loaded up some tools and drove to StL. I pulled the code myself with my own code reader. I replaced the defective intake manifold and replaced the valve cover as well as the water pump. I washed the engine compartment and found no other fluid leaks. The engine runs quietly and smooth now. I then took the car to Purcell Tire in Fenton where they have REAL tire people and put two new tires on it. You lost about 6 hours of labor and hundreds in parts as well as two tires. I wouldn't allow them to work on a single speed bicycle. They're a joke.
