Brought in my vehicle on Friday to get an Estimate on some repair work to fix a leak. They sent me an estimate which I approved, but I still needed my vehicle for the weekend, so picked it up, brought it home for the weekend, it sat in the drive way the whole weekend brought it back Sunday like discussed. Started making noises on way back. They call me monday and said the engine is knocking and asked me if i took it anywhere and said there is no oil in the engine now. I said well that shouldn't be the case. I only brought it home and it sat in the driveway until I returned it. Then they told me it has a knock and that on Friday when they sent it to me there was oil in it. So I go to pick it up because at this point somethings off and they did not include any of that on the write up. I had to ask them to put it on the write up then they would not include that they checked the oil and the oil was good, even though it passed on the inspection which I was going to pay for(they didn't charge me for it after the fact). Long story short do not take it there especially if you are a veteran, they are going to try to take advantage of you, and blame it on your engines age (that said this is common for an engine with the miles on it). Be weary dealing with them. I reported them to the BBB and will look into options to litigate.

After having my battery checked at the auto parts store, I had my Cadillac towed to this dealership. On 7/19, I received a text link from the service advisor, Tyler, stating that my alternator failed and needed to be replaced. The link stated that the cost for this repair was $2558.45. When I called to get an itemization, was told that there was no way to send that information. Needless to say, we paid the $160 (with fees) inspection fee, and decided to have it towed to another repair facility on 7/24. After testing the existing alternator, computer, etc, it was determined that nothing was wrong with the alternator. The battery failed! Don Hatton tried to charge me over $2500 for a repair that didn't exist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. And the auto parts store is next...

I recently bought a 2023 Trail Blazer from Don Hattan and was experiencing a problem with the inner back door trim by the wheel well. Kevin was super helpful in setting up the appointment and taking care of getting me checked in. He was very conscientious in keeping me informed and about the main issue and the fact that there was also a recall. Kevin stayed on top of the situation and I received my car finished with the repairs in a timely manner. The repair was was done correctly and the recall issue resolved. Thank you for making my first experience at the service department a painless experience. Thank you Kevin for all of your help!

I recieved an oil and filter change on 6-14-22. I presented a Keep on for a fluid exchange for $10 off. The first representative said they would honor the coupon. When I went to check out they would not honor it. In addition my oil changes have never been over sixty two dollars they charged me over ninety dollars. I will no longer be doing service with is unfortunate because I bought the truck from them.

I've had two jobs done here recently and, one had to be done twice, the other job was a 1hr. Job that took Way too long. Both jobs cost a lot more than what my new mechanic would have charged. I don't recommend this shop to anyone. I'm done with Don Hattan.

Terrible communication, hard to reach service representative, work had an acceptable outcome but it took over 2 months to get done and the cost kept going up! Update: Transmission out again and having issues getting acceptable warranty work! Also never contacted by anyone about this review! Will update again with outcome of warranty work! Update!! Warranty work complete with no additional cost, Very happy with that, I dealt with the service manager and he got the transmission replaced with a 3yr 36k warranty so I'm very pleased with the outcome therfore making this a 3 star review!

Update: 7/29/23 ☆☆🤬🤬🤬 Went in to pick up service paperwork on my truck to take with me to trade it in, and I got offered more from Don Hattan than what the other dealership was going to give me for trade. So I sold it to them ( the mistake of the century). It's kind of random, but yeah, I thought it worked out well for me. Untill... at Long Macarthur, I was told I now because I didn't trade it, I owed an extra $3500 in taxes on the one I was purchasing. I should NOT have sold it to Don Hattan. I got screwed out of $3500 in tax credit. The used car sales manager at Don Hattan KNEW that I was going to trade it and should have told me that I would lose that tax credit if I sold it vs. trading it. Snakes on both ends. Yes, I'm angry.. 😡. They should give me $3500 in service free.

We have had all our vehicle services done here because we purchased our vehicle here 4 years ago. I took it in for a SCHEDULED service and was told it would be about an hour fifteen minutes to an hour and thirty minutes. At just under the two hour mark, I looked outside and saw my vehicle was done (not sure how long it had already been sitting there) so I figure they would be around to let me know it was done. After about 20 minutes, I had to walk to the service counter and ask why it was just sitting there. The guy I checked in with fumbled around and said someone else should have come to tell me it was done. He proceeded to print off my invoice and give me my total that was $50 higher than I have ever paid for this service. When I asked why the high increase in price, he boasted that they haven't raised labor costs and that I got the $5 Tuesday Ladies Day discount. Needless to say, this was my final visit. I won't be going back again.

I highly recommend Don Hattan if you are looking to buy a car. They were very knowledgeable about their vehicles and very patient with all of my questions. All of the people were friendly and made me feel comfortable and welcome from the second I stepped inside the door. I feel I bought a great SUV for my family and know I will be taken care of when I bring it in for oil changes and other services it may need later down the road. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be taken care of. I bought a car a long time ago from Don Hattan and got the same great service back then also. Don Hattan is a great place to come if you are wondering about it and looking for a place to buy a car. Thanks to everyone there that helped me find my vehicle and had the patience to explain everything to me in great detail so I was comfortable buying it. I appreciate all of you more than you know! Super happy with the customer service I recieved. Thanks so much!

I took my Chevrolet vehicle to Don Hattan for a Safety Recall replacement of the passenger side Takata air bag. I dropped it off at my appointment and they gave me a shuttle ride to work and came and picked me up when the repairs were finished. The entire experience was very pleasant! It's not always easy to find an auto repair shop you can trust, but I trust these guys 100%. Nick Brown was my service advisor on this past visit and even located a $500 problem with an oil cooler line that was covered under warranty. My warranty expires in 1,500 miles, so if it wouldn't have been noticed until after then, i would have had to pay for that repair out-of-pocket. That speaks to the integrity of the employees at this shop. I take my truck here for every service i have done and i will not go anywhere else in the future.

On 2.1.22 I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change I had an appointment for. The service tech (Caleb G) came right out and greeted me with a smile! A simple oil change took more time than it should have as the tech was having problems resetting maintenance light; no problem things happen ~ it just would have been nice if the service advisor would have came out and enlightened me on the situation! I should have never had to go ask the service advisor about my vehicle 2.5 hours later!! I will politely leave the service advisor nameless as the service manager, has already called me and listened to my concerns and asked me to give DON HATTEN another chance. In fact David (service mgr) went over and beyond and asked me to come in and visit with him next time I was in. He apologized for the service advisors behaviors. I can only HOPE he addressed the service advisors lack of communication, UNFRIENDLINESS to the point of an almost nasty attitude towards me, he did not offer or include the “ladies day” discount, and more importantly he did not print out status report for my vehicle. On 2.8.22 I had a 2nd appointment for my other vehicle. Again, Caleb the Service Tech greeted me with a friendly hello and smile. I visited with the service manager, David as discussed. My NEW service advisor, David S., was friendly and informative about my 2nd vehicle, Chevrolet Impala. He advised on what he recommended be done in the future as well as printed off an automobile status report along with multi point vehicle inspection. I was thankful to receive the information for my Impala and thankful for a MUCH friendlier service advisor. David S updated my contact information that the previous service advisor failed to do. He also printed off the Automobile Status Report & Multi Point Vehicle Inspection that previous service advisor did not provide to me at 1st appointment. The 2nd experience at Don Hattan was so much better thanks to the service mgr, David and my NEW service advisor David S. I also want to thank Natalie in the office for following up with me. I simply need a service department that is reliable, reputable, responsible & friendly. After this experience I think I may have very well found what I’m looking for. First experience “0” stars with the exception of Caleb’s friendly demeanor ~ 2nd experience, definitely a 5 STAR. GOOGLE REVIEWS won’t allow multiple reviews to the same business hence the long review and the reason for combing scores for stars.

The sales people want you to leave a good review, buy our car, leave a review and enter to win a prize! The cars are over priced and their service center is horrendous. I have to say, I don’t want anyone touching my car who doesn’t know how to rotate tires. Take your money and your car to a better dealership and service center!

Went for a oil change. They forgot to reconnect the mass airflow sensor and my check engine light came on right after I left and got on the highway. Came back they fixed it only to have them shut the hood and the guy also left his ratch up by the wipers. But the guy who corrected the problems was nice enough to show me how to fix my automatic door lock.

We’ve been car hunting for a little over half a year and found the perfect car that had everything I wanted in it. The price was a bit out of our budget range but we were only able to purchase it with the help of Jake. He really valued our time and interest and made it possible to buy the car we wanted and kept it to exactly the price we wanted. By far the most sincerest salesman I’ve ever met.
