Top-Notch Shop! I brought my ‘69 Chevelle there with a worn cam, we agreed to install a new engine. Gordon was excellent to work with and they exceeded my expectations, the car drives better than ever. Bill is a great mechanic with attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Do not recommend This place. We came here on a family members recommendation to get the broken stud fixed. The brakes need to be replaced. They wanted $1,200 to do the brakes. But was willing to give us a discount. So they charged my mother $725.00 To replace the brakes on her 2007 Toyota matrix. Then they noticed that there was no oil (they claim) and need to do an oil change which was $107.00 i wrote a review and they called my family member and wanted to know why i left a negative review. I had deleted it b4 they called i just wanted them to get the email of a new review. When I left there the guy who worked on car tells me the motor mounts need to be replaced and that would be the noise i would be hearing as I’m getting into the vehicle. I leave and the car is making MORE NOISE then ever. It rattled all the way down auburn blvd and up Madison ave. I had drove this section on the way to the shop without any noise except brake noise. Now we finally get a shop to check the work. THE CALIPERS WERE NOT TIGHTENED UP. This car belongs to my mother who has a stroke and they were told that before we went here and i feel like they totally tried to take advantage of a 78 yr old woman who need help. I am calling the BBB on this shop and if there’s damage to the brakes in anyway they will replace it at the shop of my choosing. I Advise you stay far away from this shop if you value your safety and the lives of your loved ones.

Gordon does wonderful work. Everyone there is super helpful, honest and very dependable. If you have vehicle issues, I highly recommend Done-Rite Auto Shop.

I'm not from the area and someone recommended this shop to me. They had my Jeep all day, from 9:05AM to 4:45 PM, I thought I had made an appointment to get my alignment done and to have them check a squeek on my passenger side. They couldn't find the squeek, but all you had to do was rock the jeep slightly by pushing its side. Maybe they were busy, but they charged me $150 to put my jeep on a lift and repeat all of the problems I already told them I had. They offered to fix the problem for an additional $400, but I am just cutting my loss here. Even Pep Boys (who I do not recommend) don't charge for what Done-Rite did. I went to another shop on Auburn after a sour experience at Done Rite, but I don't want this to look like I am promoting someome else so I won't mention their name. If you have a classic car maybe this place does great work, but the lack of both efficiency and apparent troubleshooting knowledge will keep me from recommending this place unless some miracle happens. I paid $150 so none of you reading this have to waste your time here.

I could not get my truck out of park. The OWNER drove to my house (10 -15 minutes away) and was able to get it out of park. I've used Done Right before, and after this over-and-above customer service, they are without a doubt my go to for all of my auto care. They are very much customer/relationship oriented vs. make a buck and get 'em out. I'll be back!

Gordon is a very knowledgeable mechanic. Took my 55 Bel Air to have rear main seal replaced. Would definitely go back.
