Donny' automotive and repair saves the day! When my nightmare began Donny went to work to get me back to work. Their customer service was the best I've ever experienced in my history of auto repair. Him and his crew immediately sprung into action and did everything in their control to help me! My rusted out tundra work truck did not make their job easy, however they welcomed the challenge. They stayed late and gave me a ride to pick up my kids from school. Whatever it took to accomplish the mission! Donny is the owner of this business and he fights all day every day to ensure his business is squared away and stays on top of every job that comes to his shop. Bottom line is they did qualify work for an affordable rate. I highly recommend the community to support Donny and his crew of ethical men for any automotive repairs. His towing service is the best bar none, and the system software used is state of the art and made the process easy as possible. God bless Donny and his team. Thank you Donny!!!

I think Donnie's automotive deserves five stars because the customer service is real great the work is super professional and they get the job done very well I will always take my cars to Donnie's automotive and I will recommend everybody else do the same you get five star quality for three-star price which to me is a great deal

**UPDATE** After talking with Donny, he wanted to make it right. Not many people do this so I appreciate that. He is working with me to do some work to make up for what has happened. He spoke to me about new policies and practices that he now has in place. Due to finances I can not have my work done now, but once completed, I will update again about the work done. Let me start off by saying this is so painful to have to write. I had a 5 star review up for quite some time, and Donny's Automotive was great and stood behind that. Unfortunately this all took a turn for the worst after my last visit. I had talked to Donny a few days before drop-off to get a simple oil change done. We confirmed date, and time for my wife to drop off the vehicle. On the day of the service and the time specified, my wife waited 15min at the door to drop off the vehicle. It was communicated that it should not take very long and it will be done in about 45-60min. After not hearing from him, 8 HOURS LATER, I had to call him. I finally got ahold of Noah, who had to call me back as he did not know the status. Donny called me and told me it was done and I could come get it. Upon arrival we noticed several things, the hood was still up, skid plate still off, and oil on the car. We were told the oil was "cleaner" as one of the techs quickly cleaned it up, since I pointed it out. After a little chat about the delay with Donny, I figured all was done...I was wrong. When I got home there was several issues. One, they did not protect the interior at all. No seat covers, floor covers, nothing. I have black leather and lets just say after cleaning it....gross. Second, as I was wiping off the, still left on oil, off the front of my car, I found a nice big scratch from a tool or something walking by that was NOT there before. The third and final part which caused me to come back to this review was, I was looking over and cleaning my engine when I saw the engine heat cover cracked. I take care of my cars very well and this was not cracked before. Inexperience and just yanking up on it would have caused this...like doing an oil change getting to the filter.... that was the last straw. I wish I could have kept my original review, but Donny's Automotive has unfortunately gone down hill. He needs to be real with time lines, have an office person on the scheduling side and take that extra step to take care of other peoples cars.

Donny is a great salesman but a lousy and inexperienced mechanic. I waited for 3 days and paid $3000 for me van. Two days after I drove off my van died there was not a drop of fluid in the transmission. He didn't even fastened the cables to the battery. Very bad repair shop.

Donny is very motivated. He spends all his time everyday at his shop working on cars. There is nothing more in this world that Donny loves more than grease and engine oil. He works on all my vehicles, and has given free tow or discounted services to people I gave references to. I believe that to be thoughtful and generous.

I had a check engine light, took it to Donny's Automotive to remove & replace the fuel evaporative canister & EVAP Purge Control Solenoid. I drove off their lot and immediately started to see smoke coming from the engine! I took it back and turns out someone ("A LICENSED MECHANIC") forgot to put the coolant cap back on. 3 weeks later - The Check Engine light is on [AGAIN]. Same original problems. It's been 3 days now for them to update me - My car is being held hostage until they can come up with a reason to charge me for something. ::: CUSTOMER BEWARE:::

I needed a clutch in my 97 Integra, Donny gave me a quote. It did cost a bit more because I needed a CV axel which he showed me was bad. He also showed me the old clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel!!! Good service, and a good price!!!

This place saved us on our way from Texas back to California. Battery light came on about an hour outside of Albuquerque - got the battery tested at auto zone and determined my alternator needed replacing…not fun at the end of the day on a road trip. All my dash lights started flashing on the freeway so I pulled over and found Donnie’s Auto on Google. . I called them up and told them the issue, and he said he could get us turned around asap. My car barely made it to the shop (all dash warnings on at this point). They swapped out my alternator in about an hour and a half and sent us on our way. The cost was about what I expected which is a nice relief. I was worried that a local mechanic might try and take advantage of my situation and charge extra for the rush, but the folks at Donny’s were very kind and honest. The turnaround very fast. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. I am truly grateful that they were available to help. Otherwise it would have put a big strain on my travel back home and cost me an extra day of hotel stay and missing a day of work. These guys are great.

It is Fathers Day June 16, 2024. I am on a roadtrip from San Antonio to Weiser, Idaho, to Las Vegas and back. I got a "Service Throttle " warning. I looked for an automotive repair shop that would be open. I saw that Danny's Automotive would open at 5 AM! I called and Donny himself answered. He told me that he could have me on my way today. I was on my way with a brand new throttle, national warranty, and full explanation of what had happed to my truck. Highly recommended professional customer and auto repair businessman. First Class Service! We’re stranded on the Freeway on a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Guess who’s open? Donny’s❣️ He squeezed us in for a quick diagnostic. Unfortunately, our transmission was blown. He was able to source one at cost! Yes, at cost. Of course we pay for labor and materials. Still saved us hundreds if not thousands of dollars. God bless Donny and his team. They went above and beyond to take care of stranded out of state travelers.
