Its very difficult to find a reliable auto shop in philly, but thankfully i found this place. I was nervous after buying a car from a shady car dealership in the northeast. I called to see if they could do a once over check to ensure there isnt anything going on, or anything in the foreseeable future that might be an issue. Their next available appointment was in 2 weeks. (a good sign) I dropped my car off and they were very upfront with everything, finished quickly, and they were very friendly. It was also super affordable. I will be going back, and recommending this place to everyone i know. 5/5!

This place is great. They fixed my car up and added what I needed (like wiper fluid) for a splendid price. Next oil change, I will definetly be coming back to Don's!

Referred me up the street for a necessary repair due to an inoperable car. The other place said Don’s doesn’t want to work on cars much even with expected appointments.

Extremely rude staff. Called needing help with my car after another shop caused a leak at the oil pan. I explained the situation to the owner, who in no time said “Yeah I have no interest in working on that” AND THEN HUNG UP! No advice, recommendations, or possible guidance. The shop has every right to refuse work and I get that, but maybe show a tiny bit of effort. Take your business somewhere that appreciates you as a potential customer, not these ill-mannered individuals.

This place consistently offers exceptional service…check engine light came on in my RAV4, brought it in, and Don diagnosed and fixed the issue (loose gas cap from getting filled in Jersey) in 5 minutes free of charge. I will always bring my business here if I can.

I received excellent service today for my car! I am used to having my father work on my car but since I live far away now, I decided to get acquainted with a local shop. I took my car in for an oil change and it was done within a few hours of dropping it off. Price was fair and he even did a full once over of my car, topped off some fluids, and gave me a fair quote for another job I need done. I will definitely be returning! They don’t seem the type to rip you off and definately don’t make you feel stupid if you have a lot of questions.

I can't thank them enough!! My car had to be towed there as it wouldn't start. Last year I had my starter replaced at another repair shop. Don's found that the wiring was loose and reinstalled it and it was finished the next morning. I am a 74 year old woman and know nothing about cars, they could have told me anything and tried to get me for more expensive work. Instead, I walked away as a happy customer with a minor repair. Honesty is rare to come by these days, but you can find it at Don's!!

This is the first time using DON's and the only experience I have. So far it is good. About a month ago, I had a problem w/ my car overheating. Don's diagnosed the issue and replaced 2 radiator fans. I also had the car inspected and an oil change. The overall price was fair and the car is running with no issues. Also, work was completed in a timely manner. I would recommend Don's.

Best auto mechanic in fishtown. Will squeeze you in on emergencies but typically it's a two-week wait. Worth it though.

I had a great experience at Don’s today. Henry helped me check my battery to see how much power it had left in it and was transparent about what he was doing throughout the entire process. Great price for the battery and wonderful customer service! Will be back if needed!
