We have taken several of our VW's to Doug, and he is one of the most honest and knowledgeable mechanics we've ever had. If you have a german car in KC, you know how hard it can be to find a reputable shop that doesn't cost a fortune. Doug is honest, straightforward, and knows his stuff. You won't be disappointed.

Doug repaired my Honda Odyssey engine for significantly less than the dealership quote. That was 18 months ago, and we have had no engine problems since (and we have driven it at least 30,000 miles). Doug himself was an agreeable, fair person. Only problem with the place is that it is tricky to find it once you get close!

This is a VERY GOOD MAN WHO RUNS A VERY GOOD AND HONEST SHOP!!! I had purchased a Saab in need of repair and had it towed to Doug. He was very good, very prompt, very courteous and very reasonable. If you have a European car and need a GREAT non-dealer mechanic... This is your guy! I was extremely happy with him! Doug can be a deal breaker for me in purchasing a European car. In this I mean if he were not around... I may be reluctant and hesitate buying another foreign car. A +, 5 Star rating!
