An honest mechanic, my 94 F150 over heating, i removed thermostat, It continued overheating and air bubbles coming up in radiator. Google said, Blown Head Gasket. Prepaired for the worst. The owner called me two days later repaired and told me the radiator was plugged and he rodded it out. Honesty, integrity and saved me a lot of $$$$!!

My 4wd driveshaft came loose on the Grapevine on my way to Yosemite. Downtown Auto had it removed and had me on my way to Yosemite in about a half hour!

Horrible experience!! Rebuilt my motor, had a leak where the intake and block meet, valves weren't adjusted correctly, one cylinder was completely open on both intake/exhaust, head gasket was torqued incorrectly which caused me to have a blown head gasket. All this within me putting 50 miles on the motor after i got it back from them. I spent GOOD $$$$ to have this done correctly and it DID NOT HAPPEN. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Are there any decent/honest mechanics in Bakersfield???
