Just bought a car and it broke down driving home. We were from out of town and didn't know who to call. They connected us to a tow company and got our car looked at same day. I can't thank them enough for their help

At Downtown Car Care I know that I can trust them to keep my car running well without charging for unnecessary services. Just had a servicing done for a 2000 mile road trip that I’m taking. Specifically asked them to check all hoses and belts as well as tire tread and to complete any necessary work to make sure I won’t have issues on the trip. Expected a bigger than normal bill when I picked it up, but they said it all looks good so they only did the oil change. So refreshing not to be taken advantage of as I have experienced at other auto repair shops, particularly as an older woman.

I have visited Downtown Car Care Center twice and both times I've left extremely happy. I'm a student in Indy so the location is very convenient. Recently, I got an oil change for an excellent price, cheaper than the previous place I went to. I really enjoy Kathy, she is very friendly and took it upon herself to teach me how to check my oil level. I made a request for an appointment online and they approved it in less than 12 hours. I was able to get my car in for my oil change asap and it was done within a few hours. Last time, I had a more emergent issue with my car so I called and was able to get in AND FIXED within the same day. I don't leave reviews often but I have left a review both times I've went here due to the awesome service!

DCC has been my go-to mechanic since I moved to Indy 10 years ago. Always great work, reliable feedback on what needs done, and great prices (reasonable for me, and they pay their mechanics well). I have had full tire services (patches, replacements, rotation), body work (through their vetted vendor), brakes/shocks, high mileage preventative maintenance (like belts), "what's this weird noise" troubleshooting, the run-of-the-mill oil change/filters/fluids check ups, headlights, freak window mechanism replacements.... You name it, I've probably had them work on it for me, and every time it's been great. I cannot recommend them enough!

It’s extremely refreshing to have an auto repair shop right downtown, that you can Trust. We have been going to Downtowm Car Care for 5 years. They have great prices, they’re very quick to complete repairs and communicate everything up front. And there are Starburst candies in a bowl… If you need anything from a nail in a tire repaired for $20 or air conditioner recharged for $200 - they’re the place to go! Oil changes are inexpensive, major repairs are clearly explained, cost extensiveness and how long it will take. If it’s a simple trip you can wait in their waiting area or walk over to the Stutz Building for some Patachou. On top of it all, they treat you like friends. And they have Starburst.

Very professional and friendly service. Work quality is excellent. Cost is very reasonable. Good work ethics, which is most important to me. Kathy is more of a family friend now than just a service person. She takes care of six of my clan’s vehicles.
