October 2023 Powder Coat Job #1, faded after 3 months August 2024 Powder Coat Job #2, started rusting 10 days later DO NOT USE DUGGY'S FOR ANY OF YOUR POWDER COATING NEEDS! The powder coaters that they use do a very poor job. I would think a shop that charges these kind of rates would use higher quality powder coaters. Since my first experience with them was postitive, I was a repeat customer. I've spent a total of $5,650 with them. I trusted them to take delivery of my C4 Fab steel bumper and to get it powder coated by someone reputable. They have lost me after this experience. September 2023 was when my bumper was delivered to Duggy's and they took it to their powder coater that they used at the time. I picked up my truck the first week of October 2023. Three months pass and my bumper is lightly fading. July 2024, my bumper has significantly faded and started showing rust underneath the coating and this was when I contacted Duggy's. They saw my pictures and said that it should never look like that in less than a year. They agreed to take my truck back and will re-do my bumper free of charge because it was their powder coater's fault. They will be using a different powder coater this time. The service advisor blamed it on a 'bad batch' of powder that their original powder coater used. After I bring my truck home; 10 days later, this new coating is now showing rust after a heavy rain. I reach back out to Duggy's and now they are saying that it may be 'outgassing' issues with the steel/welds of the bumper and to reach out to C4 Fabrications. I reach out to C4 and send them pictures of the issues from the first and second powder coating jobs and they confirmed that it was due to poor prepping. Duggy's response to that is that I will have to fork over $600+ for the labor to remove the accessories/bumper and they will get the powder coating redone for me. Is it wrong of me to think that this is ridiculous that they expect me to cover the labor when I trusted them to get this job done right the first time?

Update again 2024: After I moved on from this situation I found a ton of issues with the 4runner. My AC compressor was completely missing. I fixed it and moved on from the whole thing. Until the company Duggy's hired to do marketing kept harassing me to delete an honest review. Check Tacoma World for the receipts. Update: Duc called me yesterday and genuinely apologized for the things that happened. Rather than suggesting how he can make he right he asked me what I think it would take to make it whole again. I felt like it was only fair for both parties that I get refunded for the parts and labor on the timing belt and the additional $675 I was charged from the initial quote. At the end of the day Duggy's did a lot of work on this car and they should still be compensated for their time. Shit happens, I can sympathize with that as a business owner. As a long time car enthusiast I understand that good shops are a dime a dozen. A lot of shops would have told me to get lost or ghosted me completely. Duc cares about the reputation of his business and he backed it up. I took my 3rd gen 4Runner I recently bought to Duggy's for a full inspection for $150. Knowing that the car needed a ton of work I picked Duggy's because they're Toyota "experts" and come recommended by Toyota enthusiasts. I've only owned primarily modded Toyotas and Lexus' and know the value in a specialists shop. I chose to address all the issues they found from the inspection through them. The bill originally came out to $2,600. A lot of money but I was more concerned about quality of work rather than price. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Duggy's had my car for over 2 weeks. The timeline wasn't an issue as it was a spare car. However a few days later I got a call from the shop saying that the original quote they made me sign was misquoted wrong on their side by $600. The only option they gave me was "come pick up your car if you don't want to do the work" although it was an error on their side. I agreed to it anyways because I had faith in their ability to do the job right the first time. As they were putting it back together they found a misfire and the bill shot up again. However, I just took the car to a reputable shop prior to Duggy's to address the same issue. They fixed the misfire and it never showed up again until it was at Duggy's. Frustrated, I decided to just eat the cost anyways. Not even a day after I picked up the car the all new belts that they replaced were making a lot of noise on startup. I quickly called Duggy's and let him know how frustrated about the misquote, the misfire, and the belts making noise. Duc only offered for me to bring it back for them to fix and give me a rental. So I took off from work yet again and brought it back. The same day they called me back and said it was fixed. Literally as I started the car up still at their shop the belts were still making noise. Due to my work schedule I had no choice but to head back to work and deal with it at another time. A few days later Duggy's texted me to check on the belts and I let them know that the issue still isn't fixed. They offered me to bring it back yet again. At this point I don't have a whole lot of faith in their ability to fix something as minor as noise from the belts. You can clearly hear the belts screeching every time I start it up. I asked for a PARTIAL refund via text and haven't heard anything back from them since. Devin and Duc initially seem like really nice guys but I don't know if I'd trust this shop to do quality basic maintenance work. They don't seem to have any respect for a customers time or money. I stayed patient and even gave them the opportunity to fix the issues. Pretty disappointed in this shop. I had plans to completely build my 4Runner through their shop. So much for earning my business.

Excellent experience. Open and honest. Full inspection, which includes clean and precise photos. They answer all questions and explain everything well. Will work on custom options based on your needs. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

They now service Teslas! Took our Model X here to install some camber shims and a re-alignment. Professional, courteous and done in a timely manner. The new shop looks fantastic and looking forward to making this my go to repair for our EVs.

I tried to be a returning customer with another of my Toyota vehicles. We own 3, we will only drive Toyota! My 2002 4runner was sent to Duggy's for a CEL and they told me it was for Knock sensor bank 1. I had just installed the current engine and also replaced the Knock Sensor Wiring Harness because it's a known fail point with older wiring harnesses. I agreed to the repair and price because I just didn't have the time to fix it myself. I was called a day or two back and was told that they couldn't do the repair because they were unable to source any new knock sensors (said mine were 2 prong??? FALSE!), said one was under the intake and the other on the front of the motor ,FALSE! They are both under the lower intake in the valley. I know, I just built the motor. I was also told they couldn't remove the fuel rail due to a rounded off fastener on the high pressure side of fuel system (I was aware there is a rounded off nut on the fuel line but I was previously able to remove when I did the motor swap) There is more than one way to remove that system... They said they couldn't do anything else for me with the current issue and I was to pay $200 to get my vehicle back. Well, I did and I'm still furious because I felt like I was lied to. Just bold face lied to! I ended up doing the repair myself in 3.5 hours. I will no longer refer anyone to Duggy's. Just makes me wonder if the technician was not qualified...did upper management tell them to not proceed at the first sign of struggle...idk. I left there with zero honesty or integrity felt.

When you do excellent work, you can price your services accordingly. Duggy's is the only place we will take our Toyotas. I've been using them for years and they recently got us dialed in with an alignment, fender trim, and adjustment of sway bar links after we installed a lift. I will always recommend them for a good Toyota 4x4 shop in Houston.

I came in with a hot mess of a car and these guys fixed it. Long story short, I had my FJ lifted, mounted 315’s on it and aligned at another shop. Biggest mistake I made! That other shop gave me a car that was wandering all over the place and was unsafe to ride. Duggy fixed all that and even allowed for me to pick up the car after hours with no hassle. Thank you Mike for being such a good sport and for being so understanding. To the tech that took care of this basket case. THANK YOU.

Duggy's garage is a tough one for me to pin down in a review. I opted for 5 stars plus some evaluation of why. There are four things you should expect from this shop: 1. Honesty and integrity above reproach. 2. Deep knowledge of, and informed opinions about, the various vehicle mods that exist in the market. 3. Deep technical skill and mechanical ability. 4. Prices that reflect the first three bullets. I essentially see one kind of customer who should go here: someone who needs the right work done the right way after getting the right advice, and who cares more about the end result than the price paid. I have friends who use other off-road shops in town that have lower labor rates, and they are perfectly happy with those shops. Good on them. My situation is that I bought my "buy it used, keep it forever" project, have three kids to raise, and need to delegate most of the responsibility for my rig to someone else and still trust it to be done right. I have a reasonably high income and I'm happy to pay a small premium for that trusted partnership. Integrity is a very marketable trait as well, and I will add that there have been two small discrepancies between my estimate and my invoice. In both cases the specialist was able to resolve the discrepancy in my favor once I mentioned it, and did so without having to ask a higher authority. All in all, I'm very pleased with Duggy's garage, and expect to be a regular customer for many years.

I recent went to Duggy’s Garage for a post purchase inspection on my Toyota Tacoma and had a wonderful experience. They were very transparent and fair with pricing. All staff members I interacted with were great. Michael especially was great at breaking down whatever possible issues I may be having in the future and was very clear in what ways we can address them. I also very much appreciated that their report was given to me via hyperlink which made it easier for me to access and look back at. Five stars for me and I will be going to Duggy’s Garage for all my future maintenance and modifications.

Very professional place. After bringing my 4Runner to Duggy’s garage with one problem, the guys informed me about the other current and potential problems that they had discovered. Each problem was listed in an order of importance, with a photo of it and the cost to fix. All correspondence was done in extremely timely matter through email, text and also explaining everything on a phone call. This is my first time dealing with such good level of service. I was helped by Dan during these repairs.

21’ 4Runner TRD Pro. Dobinsons IMS 2.5 w/uca. Wildpeak A/T4w (285/70r17). No BMC just some trimming. Thank you Michael from Duggy’s for great communication and flexible accommodations. Very knowledgeable and helps imagine the potential build for my specific needs down the road. Came in for new tires and a lift. You get options (budget, good, best) after discussing what you want to achieve for your personal needs. You don’t need to do everything on the list but, it’s very thorough. Everything came sooner than the expected date. They also let me park the truck there for an extended time to fit my schedule until I was ready for pickup. Highly recommend and I will definitely continue my build with Duggy’s.

Drop off and pickup were easy peasy. Detailed summary of issues and thorough assessment (with photos!) offered made it easy to communicate and discuss each item we needed to address on our LC100. My wallet is a little lighter than I wanted it to be but the service was top notch. This is the second such trip bringing in an LC and Duggy's has offered consistently high quality service.

Total trust with all our Toyota 4x4s- from checking the trucks from top to bottom, to basic and advanced upgrades, they do it all. Always responsive and friendly. I can vouch for a total suspension system on my Tundra:(UCAs/LCAs/shocks/springs/bumps/rods/cam tabs/etc.) that holds up in some pretty harsh conditions. Good advice and recommendations based on your needs. My go-to shop all things Toyota 4x4!

I brought my Tacoma for AC Repair. Michael helped me get the truck scheduled for work, an uber ride home, provided me with a well detailed list of items which they found during the initial inspection and updates on the repairs. The price was very reasonable compared to the dealership and their customer service was spectacular. I will definitely be returning for any future work and I would HIGHLY recommend Duggy's Garage for any Toyota / Lexus repairs / maintenance.
