We had a flat tire near this shop, we went there and the guy didn’t even help us saying he is alone in the shop. We were suffering there for hour and he didn’t help us. Worst shop ever. Never go there.

Came here for my inspection on my vehicle which a lot of places can’t pull in to because it’s lowered on coilovers. They got my car in, got it inspected, filled my gas can at my request and all was done super fast and with friendly service. Sure there wasn’t a lot of conversation but if you need fast service and have other things to do this is your place. They were on top of it and made it so easy for me!

Great experience here. Got to work and my tire was hissing and going flat. Went to Dunlap-Swain, and they replaced my valve stem in less than 10 minutes, and I was back in the office in no time. Highly recommend these guys.

I had a screw in my tire and was stranded on the side of the road with a nearly flat tire. I called Dunlap-Swain Tire on Inwood/Forest and they were incredibly responsive, sending Fred and Carlos out to me within minutes. They were able to fill my tire with enough air to safely drive back to the shop, and then Cory fixed the issue with speed and efficiency. The entire team at Dunlap-Swain was friendly and professional, and the quality of their workmanship was top-notch. And to top it all off, the price for their services was incredibly reasonable - only $15! I am so grateful to the team at Dunlap-Swain Tire and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tire services. Five stars all around!

I had a terrible experience, maybe I’m the only one, I hope so. Went here for a tire plug. They refused to change out my tire, saying they were about to close. Little did they know that I can see their shop from my abode. They continued to stay open for two hours, while continuing to help new customers. It was bizarre.

My gas station on Inwood Rd. has a garage and a fantastic mechanic. I'm really lucky to have all the services they offer so near to my home. Every every single employee is a gentleman. Can't recommend them highly enough

We had a flat and put the spare on. Had the bright idea to see if Dunlop Swain was open as they had been most helpful in the past on another Sunday. We arrived at 20 to close, yes, and were certainly reminded of the closeness to closing and should, "probably come back tomorrow." Twice.... Perhaps a mildly reasonable response, but left us wondering why he even came to ask if we needed help, if no help was going to be offered. We could've left the tire there for inspection and then come back in the morning. Or something more agreeable, but no. Will find a new tire place.

Not offensive service. Not rude or egregious behavior. Just highly disinterested in the customer. I get it...you are more entertained by your cell phone...and I'm sure that is a mighty fine sandwich you got there...but can you please take my money so I can move along. It's the Apple Store of Gas stations.

Higher prices than most all other gas around. Limited items inside in the way of snacks and drinks. Does offer full service gas fill ups which is rare nowadays. Good mechanics. Often busy with few pumps available. Not 24 hours for gas.

I arrived at 830 and they close at 9. The guy sprayed water on my tire to find the leak. Said it was my air stem and couldn't (didn't want to) fix it because he was the only one there. Went down the street and another shop found a slant on my tire and was on the verge of having a blowout. He lied to me and sent me down the street.

This is a great neighborhood gas station and garage. Over the years they've plugged tires and performed general maintenance on a variety of cars. What most people don't know is they are quite versed in late model Mercedes repair and can take on tough problems like diesel fuel lines, brakes, and more. I have a '98 diesel they've kept on the road for me over the years. AND, they are honest about what type of work is not a good fit for them and can make recommendations. Someone in another review commented on the higher price of fuel. It's par for the area and they have very clean tanks and filters (ask for a Reeder Root report and they'll print one out on the spot). Keep in mind they offer full service which includes fluid and tire checks. They are also the only station in the area to offer free air. And, if you roll in with a nail in your tire at 7:30PM, they'll get you out of a mess long after the usual suspect tire places have closed.

First time stop for gas at that station, prices were 55 cents higher per gallon (premium) than all other gas stations in Dallas. And that's for self service. They actually have a full service side that they charge an extra 30 cents plus... I used my debit card and only put $15.00 just to get me to another normally priced gas station. Upon review of my account, noticed that they placed a hold of $126.00 on top of my $15 which I assume they will clear once the payment clears. No other gas station does that at least to my knowledge. Tried to ask the attendant regarding the high prices, all I got was a smirk... Opportunistic greedy bunch...
