Do not use Dynamic Diesel. I had a Volvo Engine rebuilt at there shop and at 400 miles the engine locked up. They did rebuild again but less than 14 months the engine locked up again. Proper preventive maintenance was done. They refused to touch my truck and refused to work on any future equipment I have. David the shop manager then acquired me of owing then over $10,000 and that I refused to pay the bill. David told atleast 3 shops that called him for advise, since they touched the Volvo last, that I owed them money. I final had to go talk to Lonnie and ask him if I had paid all me bills and he said that we were even on all bills. I told him that if David continued to slander me I would have no choice but to take legal action.

Have to say as an owner operator this shop treats you right! Did a big job for me on my engine and got it done in one day and it was an all day type of job!! Way better than any dealership or big shop.. highly recommend and then some as Don treated me really good. They put there local jobs off to get to me and charged me a great price. Way under quated $400 under

Look into alternatives before spending any money here. Work is shoddy at best and customer service is worse. Here is the reason for my review. I contacted them after I was referred by another diesel mechanic. I needed them to take care of an oil leak on the front timing cover of my engine, do a transmission service, radiator flush and fill, install 4 tires, and a few other various maintenance items. I was quoted a price over the phone and agreed, and drove the truck down. I was told it would take approximately 2 week as they were busy. I said that was fine as i was not in a hurry. The following few weeks there was no contact with me. When it was time to expect my truck to be done, i called in and i was informed that it wasn’t done and would be several more weeks. I was a little upset but nothing I couldn’t get over, again i didn’t need the truck so it being in the shop wasn’t a huge deal. When the time finally did arrive for me to pick up my truck I did so in the late afternoon and drove it home. On the drive I noticed that the engine cooling fan was constantly engaged. I called the next morning and they sent someone out and found out that the thermostat was installed improperly and it was fixed. A week passed by and I noticed that the engine was still leaking oil they sent someone out and did a very poor patch job with what looked like silicone and spacers on the oil pan to tighten the oil pan to the engine. The engine never quit leaking so I went back-and-forth with Lonnie (the owner) several times to try and get someone to come back out and fix it again he said he would not fix it unless it was at the shop. An inconvenience for sure, but not unreasonable. I was however unable to drive the truck as the two front tires that I paid for them were leaking and would not hold air. The split rims had been dismantled and reinstalled improperly and would not hold air rendering the truck, un-drivable. Come to find out both o-rings had been smashed during the install. The following weeks I went back-and-forth with the Lonnie to try and get the folks that installed the tires to come out and fix them from leaking air, i was told they were to busy and I would have to wait. While I normally wouldn’t fault dynamic diesel for the shoddy work to the rims and tires, they were the ones i paid to have the job done, therefore i see them as responsible for making sure their vendors work is up to standard, which in the dynamic diesel world, isn’t very high. I finally gave up and hired a proper caterpillar mechanic who came out and did what dynamic diesel should have done in the first place, took off the oil pan, cleaned it and re-sealed it at a cost of $922 on top of the $5000 plus i had spent with dynamic diesel. I’ll note that the cat mechanic was able to perform the repair in the field which was one of the reasons lonnie said couldn’t be done and needed it at the shop. I am now searching for a tire company who can handle 46 inch 428 lb tires to come out and replace the O-rings. Dynamic diesel, nor lonnie will not respond to emails, phone calls, or voicemails. I could have gotten past the delays, mis quoted prices, improper installation, and all around shoddy work if someone would have just gotten back to me with an apology and a plan to get the truck fixed. All in all I’m out over $7k in repairs that i feel would have been much much less had i gone some place else. It appears that there are many diesel mechanics in the Phoenix area. My advise, is to try someone else before spending your money here. Save your self the aggravation and hard earned money.

The diesel service men were very good and worked on my truck fuel injector issue immediately. My truck ECU computer did not provide any trouble codes but the specialized equipment was able to identify the faulty new fuel injectors. The service charges were exactly as quoted, no extra fees. Lonnie was very helpful and supplied me with some excellent Stanadyne fuel injector cleaner at no extra cost and offered some good advice on preventing future fuel problems. Thank You for your excellent service and help, you will be my preferred supplier for any future service on my diesel truck. Denis

I had my 2006 Beaver Patriot towed into Dynamic Diesel for transmission problems. I have used Dynamic many times and have been totally satisfied with their work and prices. Lonnie runs an honest business and keeps you informed of progress and repair costs. Never have had to return for same problems. Several friends have been referred and are pleased with their service too. Great Job Dynamic Diesel.

If you need tractor or hydraulic repair stay clear. The 100+ per hour is not true. They charge what what ever they want when you leave at their shop. After 3k plus my problem is worse than before they took apart. Lonny seems to be a good guy but good help is hard for them to find. Avoid at all cost.

After arriving at our destination in Apache Junction I noticed coolant leaking from our diesel pusher. Not being from the area I relied on the RV park staff to recommend someone to have a look at the RV. They recommended Dynamic Diesel Repair. After doing a search on the Web and discovering that Dynamic received excellent reviews, I called them. I was not disappointed. There was someone at our RV within 24 hours to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be a leaking radiator. The radiator was removed and sent for testing to see if it could be rebuilt. Unfortunately this was not recommended and would not be guaranteed if we decided to proceed with a repair. We opted instead to have a new radiator installed. A new radiator was ordered and was installed within 48 hours. The Dynamic Diesel technician worked efficiently and was very professional. If I ever again needed work done on my RV while in the Phoenix area, I would not hesitate to call them.

Lonnie and his team are excellent. I came to them with my 1993 Sun Voyager motor home that I had boughten used a couple months prior. Not only did they change my oil and filters but did a through inspection of my motor home and found 3 major safety issues and a few other misc items that needed attention. I chose to have them take care of all my repair needs. I so much appreciated their up front honesty, warm personalities and just all around care. I highly recommend Dynamic Diesel to anyone needing service and/or repairs. Later in the day when I had continued on with my travels, they personally called to check on me and see how thing's were going. Thank You!
