Bill is an incredibly nice guy who cares more about helping out a person stranded than making a buck. He did all the tests and minor fixes possible without ordering major parts and told us exactly what we could get done after our road trip down the line, so we weren’t stranded for days. He was extremely knowledgeable and even showed us the parts of the car that needed repair and explained how they function. He was a true life saver today! His staff is friendly too. Thanks Bill for your kindness and help.

I was recommended to go to Eagle Transmissions by another well-trusted shop in Horseheads that didn’t feel comfortable doing the work needed on my F150. I called and made an appointment which was further out than what I was looking for, but I am glad I waited. Bill and his team did an excellent job getting my F150 torque converter shutter issue resolved, and at what I believe is a reasonable price. I would and will recommend Eagle Transmissions to anyone in the area. Thanks again!

This place was recommended by another shop, so I took my jeep there because 4wd service light was on. Staff and owner was extremely polite and helpful, and they got my transmission and everything fixed in one day. They are extremely good at their job. I made an appointment to have a shift sensor replaced in my mini-van after recently having a code reader hooked up to it. The print-out from the code reading reported that the shift sensor was stuck in " F " position. The recommendation was the obvious, replace said sensor. The story I got from these guys was much, MUCH worse. 😥 Idk.... #stickershock #mypoorcar

I took my ram 3500 in for a rear differential rebuild. They did a phenomenal job. They also completed the follow-up care after 500 miles. These guys no gears and transmissions. Great job!

The owner really knows his stuff and very honest. I had an issue with my truck flare shifting into every gear and ended up being a $100 part vs a $1800 transmission rebuild. Another shop said the vehicle needed a transmission but obviously that wasnt the case. Highly recommend this shop.

First of all Bill is very rude and his customer skills have something to be desired.. I took my 11 Camry V6 there to get my transmission fluid changed ..four months later I was under my car doing an oil change and noticed that the fill and drain plugs have never been touched they were rusted and fused to my transmission and the pan.. I took pics and showed bill .he told me that they dropped the pan and filled it through the drain hole.. that's impossible because besides the drain plug there is a tube that has to be removed to drain the pan .. and when installed back in... the diameter of the tube is so small...smaller than a straw.. that if you attempted to fill it with high pressure fluid ..you would be covered in fluid because of the back pressure.. I changed it myself And had to wire brush and spray with penetrating oil and had to use a leverage bar to break loose the plugs .. Guess where I'm going to see bill next ?. I have pics and video of proper drain and fill... And you do fill it through the fill hole only ! He charged me 223.00 to pull in and pull out my car. Without any work done...do not trust them !

Highly recommend this business!! Very professional and knowledgable staff. We took an older Porsche in and, after several other shops couldnt resolve the issue, Bill got the job done. Also, after spending way too much money over the years at other shops, and not always with success, the prices are very fair and reasonable. It is difficult to afford to maintain any import, let alone an older one, which is often a shame because these cars can be driven to very high mileage. Bill's business makes this possible. We will definitely be back for other things needed.

My experience with Bill at Eagle Transmission was good. It’s the only place I’ll go for future transmission work. My Allison transmission was in and out of another shop for the better part of a year, with no resolution. This kind of professional work isn’t inexpensive, or necessarily quick and I wasn’t expecting it to be. What I was expecting was professional service, and that’s what I received. Thank you Bill for ending the saga, and getting me up and running.

They are rude, not just once or twice. Every single time you call, they are rude. Told me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle and “I don’t know what you want me to do with it” when I took my vehicle to another shop they found I needed a new torque converter within a hour. Do not recommend at all!!

my mom paid $650 for this garage to take the transmission out for another garage, that’s it. this garage for some reason took the torque converter off of the transmission without permission before sending it off. got a call from the other garage stating that it was missing and necessary to have, so we had to send someone to pick it up before the other garage would start the process. had they asked beforehand, there wouldn’t be an issue but this garage just made things even more difficult for us. edit: this situation shouldn’t be normalized with vehicles that leave disassembled

I called to get an estimate of the cost to repair my transmission on my 2001 dodge durango R/T 4x4. They absolutely refused to give a rebuild rough estimate for a 46re which remanufactured only cost 1800 to 3k depending on stock to being able to handle 1500hp. The person on the phone was kind of rude and lacked any real customer service. I have now looked at their reviews and realized that anyone who left a bad review was verbally attacked rather than getting an apology or at least the offer to take care of their concerns.

The guy I believe his name is bill was very rude and disrespectful had to call the cops because he wouldn't give me my car then charge me $100.00 for an inspection . What a rip off never ever again definitely won't be taking my new bmw to there
