I used Luscious Garage for diagnostics for engine overheating and powertrain problem on my Ford Fusion Hybrid. I got the appointment quickly. They have a big waiting lounge with lots of books and magazines. Ran the diagnostic for an hour and gave me an incredibly detailed report. Suggested me to use the dealer garage as warranty might kick in. Great advice. Saved a lot of bucks. They even helped co-ordinate towing from their garage to the dealer's service garage on phone! Very satisfied!

Excellent service! We had to wait around the have the car fixed and the lobby/waiting area was so nice! The staff were wonderful—very polite and accommodating. I’m very happy with my experience.

Earthling did a clean and careful job replacing control arms with decaying rubber bushings. They also found tire damage I could not see (inside sidewall). Diligent and thorough, and possessed of rare hybrid and electric expertise.

Short and sweet review, just like my appointment. Walk in, hand over keys, go get breakfast, come back, and everything is taken care of, for 1/3 the amount it would have cost at the dealership. Which also would have taken 24 hours and made me stand around for two hours waiting to pick the damn thing back up again. I’ve been a satisfied customer of EA since 2010, back when it was Luscious Garage. It’s still just as awesome as it ever was. Hooray!

This is clearly the place to go for EV repair. Earthling has deep expertise with EV technology. Their knowledge goes much deeper than the major hybrid dealers like GM and Toyota, that are still tied to old-school internal combustion engine technology. Highly recommended.

I will definitely return to this shop if I need work in the future. They go above and beyond. They removed and installed a few small ones for me for free. Also, they are very nice and service oriented. Hard to find that these days.

My original review was for Luscious Garage, which subsequently merged into Earthling Automotive. Based on one service visit, Earthling continues to be trustworthy and capable as was its predecessor. But the new location on Bayshore Blvd at the eastern foot of Potrero Hill is seriously inconvenient. To spend more than a short time in the indifferently appointed waiting room is only okay if you have absorbing things to do online or a great book to read *and* you brought your own snacks. Otherwise catch a ride home and back. To walk over to Potrero Hill--as I did--or elsewhere is outright scary.

go here out of habit, because everyone seems to agree that this is the place to go if you own a Prius, because i've had bad experiences with dealerships and especially since now they're located near where i live. their workers don't have the typical arrogant condescending mechanic attitude and don't exhibit machismo but i feel that everything is outrageously expensive and i have the impression that they are always looking for some unnecessary additional item to add to the bill. typically, they move things around in the car and change adjustments without returning them to the way the owner had them set. when i left there most recently i told the technician "it isn't your car; you're just getting paid to repair it". aside from this i would say that they're generally respectful and reasonably considerate.

From making the online appoint to the preliminary diagnostic to receiving the invoice detailing exactly what was estimated, Earthling Automotive is without any hesitation the best car repair experience I've ever had! Exceptional Customer Service by Bobby who explained everything clearly including estimated time and cost. And did I mention the waiting lounge? coffee, tea, candy, wifi, spacious and clean. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Strongly recommend!

Friendly people, seemed knowledgeable about things they found, willing to help me who am not good at screen stuff figure out how to set up map! Nice waiting area, wifi, coffee/tea, comfortable couches, counter for working e.g. w/ a laptop, restroom. Easy to schedule on website. Easy access off 101 going into SF.
