Past performance is no guarantee of future results ! We have been going to east Ave auto for 15 years - never again . When I had the car towed I had heat in the car and an expansion tank leak . They diagnosed and priced the job- and I learned later from two other shops I got gouged by 800 dollars! Plus they said car was done - we picked up and drove a mile and the needle went all the way to red! I had paid the $1898,but was horrified and took car back . Never asked for money back as a courtesy - however I went to pick up 2 more times and it WAS NOT Fixed! It had now been 2 weeks and I found my perfect black classic covered with salt, driver 120 miles, damaged on driver side and still not fixed on a Saturday! I asked for a refund - they lead me on a wild goose chase - I had to take my car to another shop!!!I am disputing charge and taking them to small claims court ! They offered to take care of body damage - said to take to Vogels and then reneged! We are horrified .. they lied and continue to lie. They have changed and Paul said the new owner is going broke! Never go there!! Beware!

I bought a 2005 BMW for my daughter who recently got her license and saw on the carfax report that the original owner had gotten regular service at East Ave Auto, so after I took the car to another service shop for an alignment, and they said they couldn’t do it without ordering and installing new parts, I took it to East Ave Auto. They were able to do the alignment (they indicated that it took extra time due to rust) but got the job done at a reasonable cost. I’ll definitely be going back as needed for service for any other cars in my family that need service recommending their shop to family and friends.

My suv broke down on Wednesday the 4th at the same time iam schedule for cancer surgery on Thursday the 5th, This amazing team towed my vehicle in ,worked on my Vehicle while I am in cancer surgery, Every time I called they're main concern was, Take care of yourself and we'll take care of your car, Thank you, You guys are absolutely amazing

I walked over to East Avenue Auto on a quick break I had at work to schedule an appointment due to some minor issues I was having after changing my brakes myself over the weekend. I came across Tom who was more than happy to allow me to pick his brain for 5 to 10 minutes rather than have me schedule an appointment for something so minor that I could easily address myself. I'm truly appreciative of Tom when he absolutely had no reason to stand there and help a perfect stranger. I'm even more appreciative as a woman who is learning to do some work on my own vehicle because I felt this was an easy conversation without judgement. This simple conversation showed me what I believe to be East Avenue Auto's true colors and I'm impressed! Thank you very much Tom!

My son is currently a student at MCC and just when he was leaving to make the 2 hr drive home his tire pressure light came on for two tires. I called East Ave Auto and spoke to Morgan who told me to send my son right over...on a Friday at 6:30 pm no less. Morgan checked out the tires...put some air in them and sent my son on his way. EXCELLENT customer service...extremely pleasant on the phone.

I was in an accident and my car was towed to East Avenue Auto by HELP. My insurance company wanted me to empty the car the same day and called East Avenue Auto on a conference call with me. A young man named Morgan assisted us. He said to come down and he'd be sure I was taken care of. My stress level was 119% but when I got there Mike G. was kind and friendly and Morgan took me to the lot to let me into my car. He was beyond courteous, professional and kind to me. This could have been a horrific end to a terrible day but the staff at East Avenue Auto, a place I've never even been, really supported me and treated me like a valued customer. Thanks guys.

I’ve been here a few times with no problems however I take my car in for an oil change and tire rotation at 8am. It took them 2 hours then they over charged me and charged me $137. Never go to these people. They are a total rip off. I will never go back ever again.

Great service, extremely reasonable pricing, and quick! I called about a wheel bearing needing to be replaced, dropped the car off the next morning, and was able to pick up my car by 2:45 that day. They also warned me about another bearing that will need to be replaced in a few months which I really appreciated. They're awesome!

Check Engine Light turned on, and they were able to take me in on short notice, and were forthcoming in saying they were going to take a look at the car the next day. On the same day I took it in, they notified me that I needed a new timing chain, and were able to get it done in 2 days. An expensive repair for sure, but I’m happy they got to the root of the problem when the dealer would’ve charged a grand more. Tom and the crew are a fine bunch! I will always take my car to them in the future!

Great experience, I went to 4 different tire shops near closing, no one was was willing to look at an easy repair. ( Mr tire, mavis etc) Found this shop , Morgan the guy on duty was very helpful and able to do a minor repair. I will definitely come here again for all my auto needs. If you need a tire repair late in the evening in Rochester this is your place.

My family has being going to East Ave. Auto for decades with great experiences but things change. I have recently observed a number of changes with mechanics & the front desk that contributed to my final trip to EAA. My 2016 Subaru starting to flash emergency lights indicating potentially serious problems with the AT oil level/temperature. I stopped in EAA on a Monday, described the problem and asked for an early am appointment and I would wait for the car. I was given an appointment for first thing Thursday and I arrived at 7:30am. I called EAA at noon and was told my car hasn't been looked at yet. I called again at 4:30pm and was told no work on my car as been done and they need to keep it overnight. Then, I talked to the owner Paul, who said he was sorry but their scanner was tied up with another car and my car would need to stay overnight. So after 9 hours of my car sitting in their lot, nothing was done and there had been no communication with me all day. I told Paul, I would be down to pick up my car and I had to pay over $30 for Uber rides to & from East Ave. It's unfortunate but a lesson learned. Things change and as the investment advisor ads warn you, "past performance is no guarantee of future results" Sad but very true.

Replaced my entire antenna system that included removing several interior and exterior panels in the toyota. The truck and antenna looks amazing and was under the estimate, highly recommend!!

They were up-front about pricing both times I went there and came under their estimate once. They took the time to discuss what I asked them to do and made suggestions. They listened and did not talk down to me or try to take advantage. When I got my car back both times I could tell they tweaked some little things without charging me for them (i.e., tightening the tension on my emergency break) and fixed my battery terminals for a small charge instead of trying to talk me into a new battery. I felt like they were very honest and upfront. I trust them which has not generally been my experience with auto repair shops.
