Did fix the issue in my car but left another problem after i left there repair shop. I live 3miles away…My AC was blowing ice cold when i dropped off to repair and after driving home after picking up i realized that the AC was not getting colder and it never did. Ruined my sale of my vehicle as I repaired the minor issue so it would be a seamless sell. the reviews were good online but they are not 5star at all. I have ample funds to buy anything but the point is they screwed the sale of my vehicle and created a new issue with my vehicle without notifying me. They also scratched my rear bumper and did not tell me. Stay away and go to Mavis next door. There real 5star service.

Took my wife’s van to get a plug for the tire and was told over the phone that she needed new tires. Total cost over $800. Took it to another guy and he plugged it for free and said tires were fine. This is the second time I have been misguided and charged for a service that was never needed. Sad I will not be using this company again.

For more than 50 years, I've owned cars and needed regular repairs--and always dreaded the process because of so many unscrupulous people in the business. So, it was a Heaven Sent blessing to find East Coast Auto Care! They not only made me feel at ease each time I've had a "CR"-Car Crises--but they took time to listen and truly analyze the cause of each problem. The first time, my car had been breaking down repeatedly -with another auto repair place "fixing" things that did NOT need fixed! Bill and Ed and his phenomena team found the REAL problem and fixed it--and were very conscious of what I could afford-offering THE most fair and affordable repair that I have EVER experienced--which is particularly vital in my Senior Years when income is minimal--and-- reassuring -that as a woman who knows very little about operational issues and needs of my car-they are GENUINELY HONEST!!!! I thank God all the time for East Coast Auto Repair--they are a "shining light" in our community --using their talents to truly help people--and encourage through the challenges of car repairs. As I'm driving around town now, I'm not as anxious should something go wrong with my car--knowing that East Coast Auto Repair is not far away!

Great mechanics. They can repair anything , even if they have to make the part ( brake lines on a 1997 Chevy C1500). Honest , courteous and friendly service, very reasonable fees, they are now my go to mechanics!

Highly recommend this auto shop !!! I had to get a lug nut repaired which I had an appointment for and they said it’d be 1-3 hrs but they were done in 45 minutes plus they checked and topped of all my fluids !! Super friendly and professional. I will definitely be back 😃👍🏼!!

This place is AMAZING. The people are SO nice!! They were able to get my car in right away, were able to diagnose all of its problems, and were extremely great about keeping me updated and in the loop. This place is great! I called to get my oil changed and they said absolutely bring it right in sir. I walked in and was greeted, I said I believe my car uses synthetic oil the gentleman said no worries we will use your VIN to determine the factory required oil and make sure it’s done right. I will be back here, and will be sending friends and family here also!

When Bill was here, this place was great. Jasper is now in charge and I took my car here to get a diagnostic for possible transmission. My vehicle feels like it jerks from 1st to 2nd gear, but not consistently and sometimes not at all. Jasper spoke to me afterwards and said it’s the transmission, they ran the diagnostic and the quote was $3900. That’s a lot of money for me, so I took it to two other places for a second and third opinion. One place is a transmission specialist. Both places said it’s not the transmission. That it didn’t come up on the diagnostic test. I have an appointment with a competitor to check my mount. I called Jasper to ask him what is the difference between what he told me and what two competitors said. He said he couldn’t recall looking at my vehicle two weeks ago and that it could have been on the same day he received bad news. He offered to look at it again and “dig deeper” for me. No thank you - I don’t trust you anymore. They’ve lost a loyal customer and I miss Bill.

Wouldn't give a quote for a very simple service on the phone - said they would call back with a quote - never called back. Glad everyone else got good service from them bc I didn't.

2006 Tahoe with 276,000mi was leaking. I had no idea where it was coming from. The heater hose clamps were loose. It was quickly repaired at no charge with no additional BS added. These guys are honest experts, I will never go to another shop.

An amazing experience. I came from out of town and was running on a tight time schedule. I was only gonna be in town for 3 days and my engine light was blinking once I made it to Florida. I dropped it off after they were closed and called them the next day. They fixed it THE SAME DAY!!! They were completely honest with what was wrong with the car and what's wrong with it in the longrun. They were very nice and professional. I am blessed to have a new mechanic in Jacksonville. I feel confident if I am ever on a trip and something happens I can bring it to them. Thank you guys very much.

Wow! I just dropped my car off which I assumed was having transmission issues. This is major since it’s a 2012 VW CC. He heard the noise as we drove in to park and said that it could be the motor mounts which is much less serious! Being weary of mechanics in general, I felt immediately comfortable and literally took a sigh of relief. Finances are extremely tight so hearing that it could be a different, less expensive issue was shocking. I’ve had experiences with mechanics telling me I needed unnecessary repairs before so to hear that I was relieved from a lot of stress. I’m aware it still could be the transmission but I feel much lighter knowing there’s hope!!! People usually post reviews after the service is completed myself included but these people were so incredibly nice I felt assured I am in the right place. I had to write something for the customers out there who have been deceived like myself that good people still do exist. Thank you East Coast Auto!!!
