Returned to have Moss resolve a problem with the passenger turn signal and brake light. He immediately discovered the problem. Moss is the gold standard of customer service! January 22,2025 I returned to East Sac Garage for an oil change and again Moss was efficient and professional. As always great service!

Hands down best auto shop I’ve ever been to. More than fair prices, excellent customer care and service. My car came back looking brand new. Thank you! I wish I could go back in time and bring all my vehicles to you for years. I won’t be going anywhere else in the future, that’s for sure.

I can't say enough, just blown away . The car I bought two months ago just started leaking coolant bad. I needed to find shop that's open on Saturday. These guys had great reviews and located in my neighborhood. I didn't have an appointment , just drove there and they were able to take it in. An hour and a half later I get a call and it's fixed, plus some other things I needed to get fixed. The cost was more than reasonable. Moss is the man and I will never take my car anywhere else.

I am a single woman who was 4 hours away from home and having car problems. I was searching for a mechanic on the internet for an area that i knew nothing about and where i only know 3 people and then God sent me to East Sacto Auto. I say God sent me because i couldnt have had a better experience. From the first phone call to when i left out of there with my car repaired, i had zero worries of being taken advantage of. The folks at this shop are above and beyond in every way. My car was with them for 3 hours and i got it back completely repaired and for a very reasonable price. On top of that they cleaned the inside, (it smelled amazing) and got all the film off my headlights so that they were looking brand new and worked so much better. And they topped off all my fluids. They really went above and beyond. I couldnt have been more pleased. They communicated constantly with me and they really made me feel like they cared about me, a complete stranger. The best part is now i have an amazing and reliable mechanic up here in Sac that my 23 year old can take her car. And thats a huge win for my mama heart. They really made my day. When I needed complex, timely and repair with only all factory parts of my 1 and only vehicle ~ the gracious people and even ownership of East Sac Auto Services at 810 57th Street in Sacramento, delivered expert service. They assessed all the issues that needed to be addressed and their estimate of costs and time for repairs was exactly as agreed to. Service that was inscrutability honest and their genuine friendliness, definitely surpassed all my expectations! Than you!!!

(Long post) Waited to post until I had the car back for a while - and I couldn't be happier. My go to repair shop very close to East Sac Auto charged me to replace ball joints, swing arm, etc. Well, he did about half the work he said he did, took my money and the problems remained. Finally, I got discouraged enough to try a new mechanic and I got VERY lucky. Moss at East Sacto made my car sound and perform like new (it's a 2007)! He was thorough, he showed me old parts, he was honest, and he will tell you the story - good or bad. He finally fixed the problem my other mechanic was chasing for a year! It's hard to find a good mechanic...I've been through my share - and East Sac Auto is the real deal. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Best place in town. Had an issue with a 4runner no one else could solve. Moss never gave up and got it done. Also had a commercial vehicle that never would have gotten fixed without Moss and Alyssa’s assistance. I’m so thankful to have found them. They are my heroes. Service and communication was fantastic. Fair, host and super knowledgeable. It’s a 30 min drive for me but worth every minute.

Came in for a headlight and whiper change with a friend of mine before a road trip. They were fast and so kind! Fast forward a few weeks later I got my rear passenger window smashed! I thought of them instantly and they were tremendously helpful! Definitely go to them! Great pricing and customer service and they work in a timely manner. East Sacto Auto Services did an incredible job with replacing my front brakes. They were super fast, communicative, friendly, transparent, and went way beyond expectations. They even spent time trying to fix my key fob that was no longer responding to my car and gave me a cord that I can use to charge my phone. Can’t recommend them enough!!

I was driving my Tesla in Sacramento and I got a flat tire… I’m not from Sac and live about 3 hours away. I started to freak out. I literally drive by this place and pulled over. They immediately fixed it and didn’t charge me a penny. I had my kids with me.. they really were a blessing today and saved me. Would recommended this place all day everyday. Let me tell you this place is THE BEST shop I’ve ever been to all my life. I diagnosed my car with an alternator problem and knew I couldn’t replace it on my own. So I came here. Moss is honest, friendly, and an overall great man. He laid it down on me what, when, where the parts were coming from, and how much it would cost. The team there is so amazing they got it out even sooner than I was estimated to wait. I could not recommend a better place in town than these guys.

Moss at East Sac Auto is fantastic!! I took my car in due to the check engine light. Moss said a sensor needed to be replaced. I can't afford it right now. He cleaned the sensor to buy me some time. 😁 I've been there a few times and the customer service is always excellent!! It's such a releif to know I have a great and honest mechanic to take care of my car.

Moss, the owner, might just be the last honest mechanic in Sacramento! I couldn't get my 99 4Runner to pass smog no matter what I did, and when I reached out he reassured me he could handle it. I dropped the car off and within a day he told me I could pick the car up. He maintained constant communication as he combed through the car and found everything wrong with it and constantly kept me informed with what he was going to do and what needed replacing. Here's the best part, when I came back to pick up the car not only was every clean and tidy. But there was a smog certificate already sitting on the passenger seat. He didn't have to run it over to the smog shop, but he did. Top tier service. I went inside the office thinking this is gonna cost me quite a bit considering how much he did to the car, and I was blown away by the price. So much so I ended up tipping. Not sure people tip mechanics but this was a special circumstance. People like that need to be rewarded for the value they provide. If you're looking for a shop that prioritizes honesty, transparency and genuinely good advice, go to East Sac Auto. This will be my mechanic for life!!!

My car was making high pitched sounds when started, not changing gears smoothly, slow to accelerate and I could smell something weird like I had run over a skunk. When I started my car after they worked on it, I started smiling as I drove away it was quiet, shifting smoothly and picking up speed with ease - my car was back to what it used to be. Glad to have found this place. I will definitely be using them again. Very honest and professional.

This is my second time coming here and both times were a great experience. First time I needed an oxygen sensor, and alternator. This time I went in after my car went through an attempted theft, and they were able to replace the window, and ignition. I trusted Moss and Alyssa for my car needs, they were very helpful throughout the process. Car repairs are expensive anywhere, and the prices here were reasonable and reflected in the service they give. They also gave me the option to pay in installments if needed. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My son has had his car repaired there twice. They correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem. It's in for a different issue now and we are waiting for the work to be finished. They seem to be quick and accurate. The prices seem to be less than the dealership service department.

Second time using East Sacto auto and I’m so impressed! Moss and his team figured out the weird knocking noise my car was making, fixed it, and had my car back to me within 24 hours. Also got my oil changed and tires rotated while I was there! Definitely will be back.

Service here was above and beyond, I had been dealing with a coolant leak problem that other mechanics were having trouble fixing properly but within a short time of arriving they had diagnosed the problem and gave me a very fair price for a complete repair. They ordered the part for me and in just a few hours they had the part delivered and installed and I was called to come and pick it up. It's in a very convenient location and for the service I will be coming back with any auto needs I might have.

We had an issue with our car (user error) and had to have it towed to some shop in Citrus Heights who gave me a very high quote. I went by East Sacto Auto Services and told them what was going on. They explained how they would deal with the problem and why I didn't need to spend as much as the other shop was suggesting. I had it towed again to East Sacto and they turned it around twice as fast and for half the price of the competition. Like most, I was worried about the new ownership, but the service, price and almost as important to me, the communication was fantastic. Give them a try.
