One of the most pleasant experiences i've had with an auto shop. Very honestDarrell goes out of his way to solve the problems. My daughter lives in Richmond. And I in Pennsylvania, so it's great to know that I have a reliable auto-repair shop that I can count on for honest work. In Richmond.. I would recommend this shop to anybody that needs work on their car.

Amazing repair shop! Very friendly and honest staff that provides high quality service at an excellent price. They replaced my brakes for ~1/2 the cost of what a different shop had quoted me!

Edwards Auto got me in for a state inspection on my vehicle same day and the day before the 4th July at that! Even when they were booked they still were able to get me in and I was able to pick up my car in less than an hour later! Not only are they very accommodating and helpful, but they provide service with a smile and bring a certain "we're happy to do it!" feel. I kept thanking them for making room for my car to be inspected and all they kept saying is "This will be the easiest thing you do all day." It's very hard to find such awesome and kind service nowadays. I will be going back to them with all my vehicle needs and referring them to everyone.

These guys are the best. I've lived in Richmond for over 20 years, and after they were recommended to me a few years ago, I won’t take my car anywhere else. Honest and reliable mechanics who will do the work well for a reasonable price. Excellent customer service. Friendly and all around kind and decent folks. If you’re searching, don’t click on anyone else—you’ve found your auto shop!

They totally dismissed me and failed to consider my loyalty unto them!!!😵😵 I am so sorry I had to go in and change my review. I am so disappointed that these sweet people I've been doing business with since they were in the 2000 block of W. Broad st. I recommend everyone I know to this business. And now I no longer will. Some new mechanic made the brilliant decision to no longer service my car. He did some work on my car yesterday, they billed me, I paid them. Apparently Dwayne gave me a 162$ quote by phone upon scheduling the appointment. He said, he may can do better than that price, which he did . The part was about $103. They charged me like $175. Fine. Np. I get a call today, the day after my services are completed, , saying he dont want to work on my car any longer, to cancel my next appointment and to go to another shop bc he said I had a problem paying him, WHICH I DID NOT. So apparently Dwayne quoted me wrong, and I have to take the hit and lose this business services all because of Dwayne and I am very hurt. I can not believe they took this out on the customer and not figure out a way to rectify Dwaynes mistake. Why do I have to suffer bc of Dwayne misquoted price? How is that my fault? A company I've been doing business with for years and now I have to say goodbye. I begged the other guy, Hey, let me pay the guy since he feel like I didnt compensate him well enough. Bc the mechanic ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE PAID OFC!! I AGREE WITH HIM. He should be paid his worth. That's why I offered to give him more money outside what I already paid. But they didnt want my money. They rather lose my business. 😩 I'm positive, I'm never rude, I had a conversation with all of them while I was there. We talked about cats and everything. I'm a decent and respectful person. I cant believe the mechanic took this out on me, instead of his colleague who gave me that price and charged me that price. How does a customer have to bare the brink of this? Can you imagine my shock waking up to a call like this? I honestly tried to give them more money to keep their business, which tells you, I was more than willing to pay for dwaynes misquote, just to keep business and see to it that the mechanic gets his well deserved pay but the mechanic is taking it out on me and I'm sorry for that and even more sorry he wont take my money in hopes to rectify the problem. This was a very careless decision. And was not handled appropriately. I am more than hurt that the team came to this conclusion for a resolution even after me begging to work it out with them. Well, I guess all good things do come to an end. Dwayne made this mistake and I have to take the hit, even tho I was willing to pay the difference. I believe they changed their mind on their quote bc I showed them Lexus dealership fees and they decided to charge me more, I really don't know Bc Dwaynes quote wasn't a problem until I showed them my reject form from Lexus, which was pretty pricey fees to do the same work edwards auto did. He said he quoted me wrong, so why let me walk out there without resolving the matter first, vs calling me in the 7am hour? Totally unfair but To be fair that 1 star review is based on this incident only. Anyone reading, they are still a great auto shop. Just very poor reasoning and lack of problem solving skills and holding their staff accountable for their mistakes. Really sorry this happened to me Blessings everyone 🤷🏾‍♀️

Great auto shop they have always gotten my car done at a reasonable time and a reasonable cost. They treat everyone with kindness as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend coming here to get your car fixed.

I like this place. Always friendly, helpful and get the job done. I recommend bringing your car here. Just changed my review from 4 stars to 5 stars as I just picked my car up again from them and loved the experience. Nice work Edwards Auto Care.

Awful. Don’t even bother going. They had my car there for months and didn’t fix the issue. When I picked up the car it was making a noise that definitely wasn’t present when I brought the car to them. The serpentine belt was out of place and completely fell apart while driving. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my belt when they first had my car. Update: I called them to get to the bottom of the issue and was told that they saw my complaint on here and hung up on me. Wasn’t rude to them at all when I called.

Edwards has become my new go-to auto mechanic after the last trusty place I used switched ownership. I have been beyond pleased with the service I’ve received at Edwards. They’ve been extremely reasonably priced on oil changes and general repair work. Recently, one of my cars(‘14 Sonata w/ less than 100k miles) had the engine lock up on it. It was a mystery as to why this happened but required a total engine replacement. They quoted me a very reasonable price with a low mile used engine but also decided to look into recalls/extended warranties that might be available to me. Due to their research and help I was able to take it to a Hyundai dealer and have my engine replaced free under an extended warranty. I’m very happy that they took the time to look into/suggest this knowing that they would potentially loose the job if covered. They’ve gained a customer for life and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional shop!

I Matt the owner over the past summer in my neighborhood. He’s a very good friend of mine right now. I need a break work done on my Mazda, Cx9 I’ll took it to him today. He did a great job on my brakes and a staff members are very friendly. I’m a continue using th‘em I recommend you go see them for auto repairs I get there in five stars

They shopped around to find the best deal on parts for me and kept me posted along the way with estimated times, prices, and information. My new favorite place to go to! They are the best. Gentlemen are very sweet, kind and thorough. Very honest and reasonably priced. I dropped my car off in the morning for pads and rotors replacement, oil change and inspection. Picked it up in the evening! And the total $ didn’t make me want to jump off the cliff 👍

Really nice people who do decent work for a fair price however they typically have your car for at least a week and communication is non existent. The posted hours of opperation are not adhered to and promises of return calls are never met.

I am beyond pleased with Edward’s service to my vehicle. The first word I thought of when driving my Beetle the day I got it back was “pearly” because everything felt smooth and clean. I could feel the joints of my car smoother and responsive. They did a good amount of work overall 7-8 things I asked for, and they worked very hard to get me a good deal. These are veteran boys in the mechanic industry and they are very aware of the arching costs of cars trying to keep up with technology and different sensor misfires. These men are a true testament that honest blue collar service is still alive in America. And I guarantee you they will hook you up with the best deal they can get and even better service.

I called Edward’s Auto Care on a Tuesday night (right before close) after experiencing problems with my brake pads/rotors. They let me drop off my car early Wednesday morning, even though they were booked for the day. They had my problem diagnosed by Wednesday afternoon, and my car ready to go the next day. Everyone I talked to at Edward’s was genuine and honest. I can’t thank them enough for their work and kindness. I will go to them as long as I’m in RVA!

Omg I don’t recommend no one going here. They had my car for a whole week and did nothing to it. No one called me I had to keep calling them only for them to tell me they gonna call me back. So I just went up there and picked my car up. If u having car problems don’t go to Edwards
