We are a third generation auto repair business started in 1964 by Donnie Ellis. Donnie started gradually retiring while training his grandson Jamison and his wife Michelle who eventually took over the business in 2009. At Ellis Auto Service the goal has always been friendly, honest, automotive maintenance and repair experiences at reasonable prices. We are more than just an auto repair shop. Our technicians and service advisors are eager to help customers with their auto maintenance, repairs, and questions. We continually strive to make the customer experience at our shop the best experience in town. We employ ASE certified technicians and provide up to date repair information and equipment to keep your vehicles running perfectly.

An absolutely sterling experience from the initial call to finish. Warm and friendly. Very accommodating despite the heavy workload they had at the end of the month. I’ve handed out their business cards to several folks just in case they need some service. Well done!

I came to them as a last minute and they were very professional and courteous with me, I was informed that for me to get my car inspected it would be awhile if I wanted to wait inwhich I did. I would recommend them to anyone because they fitted me right in in a manner of time High five to them!!!

I went there to get a oil change they greeted me and told me that it shouldn't take long and they was right and their prices isn't bad at all they have excellent customer service

Entire staff is super friendly. Went in for a state inspection and had to wait 3 1/2 hours, but I guess they have a strong customer base and that’s a good thing. I’ll definitely go back again if needed.

Somewhat new to the area and I was sad to see my old mechanic go. Called in to see if there was a spot for some tire stuff and I was able to head in right away. Really appreciated the no-fuss and quick transaction. Looking forward to coming back here for an inspection and oil change. EDIT: After almost a year of living here, Ellis' has been my go-to for all auto issues. I have gotten inspections, a new battery, oil changes, tire pressure issues, you name it. They will always fit me in and get it done same day. The prices are fair and they are friendly. Not much you can ask for!

Unexpected turn landed me in their shop. I needed a starter, for certain. Hunter guided me through what to expect, gave me a reasonable estimate (the same price if I had gone to my other Ellis Front End and Frame shop) A little surprised at the end that to pay w a credit card would be an extra 3%. Still, the car was clean, safe at their shop, and most importantly, it started. I'd consider going there again if it were in my neighborhood and not 12 miles away.

I arrived early to the shop to fix a squealing noise with my truck. Within 10-15 minutes, a mechanic was taking my truck into the bay for service. They diagnosed the problem quickly and within 30 minutes they explain what was causing the problem. Unfortunately, the repair work was beyond the scope of work that they provided and suggested a transmission shop within a short distance from their shop. I was very impressed how quickly they were able to sign in customers and apparently they must have a stellar reputation with their customers because everyone was friendly, joking and excited to see the men working at Ellis Automotive Repair. I plan to come back whenever I have an automotive need for service in the future!!

I recently got my car inspected and an oil changed. Honest mechanics with reasonable pricing. I’m glad that I’ve found them and I plan on taking my vehicles to them in the future. I definitely recommend them!
