Most recent visit was for a flat tire on my 2022 MINI Cooper SE. They took me in without an appointment and fixed the tire that day at a quite reasonable cost. Great service! I would definitely return. It's good to have reliable service so near to where I live. Very convenient.

Been going to Johnny and the guys at Elmers for a few years now and won't go anywhere else. They are honest, up front about costs, and fair. Always feel good leaving the cars there knowing that the best possible result will happen. Thanks guys!

Don't bring a modified car here for inspection. The (owner?) will berate you for wasting his time. Needs to learn how to talk to people. He insinuated that because my vehicle was modified in an illegal manner that I was trying to get his business in trouble by inspecting it despite me not having an issue getting an inspection for many years. They should have failed it and moved on rather than getting aggressive with me. How else am I supposed to know what's wrong with my car? Waiting for the clown owners response below. You'll see he has a way with words.

I've been going to Elmer's for years. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. I appreciate the fact that they are budget conscious. I've never walked out of there feeling like the work they did was unnecessary.

Love this place and the people here! Awhile back I got new tires, breaks and an oil change here and I plan to continue going back. As a woman it’s hard to find a place that treats you with respect and that is honest but they are honest,offer fair pricing, respectful and don’t talk to you like your an idiot (overall good people and place!)

The owner was extremely rude. And The business is the worst type - failed the inspection and told you your vehicle needed repairs! The interesting thing is the problem was already fixed by another repair shop less than 6 months ago! Shame on you!

Clearly had a leak. They claimed I didn't and put the cover back on improperly. Two other mechanics shops said it was extremely obvious. Not to mention the man child hot head owner is so full of himself and bashed other shops.

UPDATE tldr; Due to their negligence in checking my car - and following their advice - ECM learned faulty values and may require complete computer replacement ($1000+) - not to mention damage due to driving on a broken camshaft. Came in needing an oil change and an error code for camshaft sensor issue. Booked out a few weeks in advance as I’ve been busy and don’t drive the car much. First I was berated for bringing my car in the early afternoon after I was told on the phone “anytime is fine.” Figured mechanics must be good since customer service was unpleasant. Picking it up - they told me diagnostics came back clean (surprising) and charged me $200 for an oil change and the diagnostic. Drove it 2 miles and check engine is back on and camshaft issue persisting. Brought it to another garage and yup. Camshaft is damaged. Perhaps they were too busy and figured the old oil was causing the issue. But I don’t trust they ran diagnostics. Or, worse yet, they just missed the camshaft issue after I explicitly brought it in for a camshaft issue. In any case, certainly not worth the labor pricing and customer service for poor work based on my experience.

I have been bringing my vehicles to John for repair for many years. Started out when he owned the Auto Stop at Bay and Goodman and started bring it to Elmers after he sold the Auto Stop. John and his crew are some of the most skilled and honest mechanics that I have ever encountered. He will not let you throw money at a repair that is not worth it. They are always honest in their estimates and timely in their repairs. They will also call and inform you if they find other problems during the service of your car. They will also inform you of price changes before they proceed with a repair. I highly recommend their mechanic services for your vehicle. Neither I or my family will go anywhere else for vehicle maintenance or repair.

We just had a major 100,000 mile service. Timing belt, pulley, tensioner, auxiliary belt, water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs. They did a coolant flush before adding the new coolant. Excellent workmanship and reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back to Elmer's in the future
