To anyone who does their own auto work: These guys were cocky and rude when they bent the control arm on my truck while jumping up and down on a extra long pry bar. The truck barely made it home. The parts and labor for the control arm, brake disk and pads due to uneven wear, and new caliper was so much that I'll never go back. Buy new instead of dealing with these guys.

Came in today for a tire, after speaking over the phone I was told it was $60. When I came in today I was told it was $70 and cash only. When I said I did not have cash the man told me to go to an ATM, show my ID, and get cash. At what convenience does that benefit? Bad impression on my first visit, take your business elsewhere please! No where did I see this was a cash only business.

I went to purchase a tire just something used to keep as a spare and the man that was working advised 70 even though I just called and he said 60 the day before. He stated that he would only take cash and I could go get cash if I needed this tire! Do not visit this place keep driving down San Mateo there is another shop. They helped me and the price was cheaper!! Don’t waste your time doing business what shady people.

I've been coming here for years, but never again. They've gotten greedy. I bought 2 tires barely 3 weeks ago and one of them already blew out while I was on the freeway. In the past they would've made it right...not anymore. So, if you want to buy tires every month, this is the place! Otherwise, steer clear! UPDATE: After charging me for a replacement for the one that blew out, the replacement blew!!! Complete scammers!

The other day I was told by a well known national oil place (JIffey ) that I needed 4 new tires. "LIKE NOW". Today I went to Empire Tire to have that done. The gentlemen at Empire were so nice. Julio looked at all the tires and told me I DID NOT need tires. The ones I had were fine. He laughed when I told him what the other place said I needed. Which all would come out to lover 300.00. I really appreciate Julio and the other young man. I ended up getting my tires filled. I will come here again. Furthermore, I recommend Empire Tire Shop & Auto Detail for you next oil change, brake work and tires. Thank you, Empire.
