Erie-LaSalle provides excellent service and my car was returned good as new. Robert and Diamond were always there to answer my questions. I highly recommend Erie-LaSalle Body Shop to all my friends.

My Car was hit, so as one does, I went through the insurance process with the person's who hit me, State Farm who then recommended this shop. But man was that a mistake, when I went to pick up my car (I was told it would be a very quick 5 min process...that was a lie). I called to confirm the day before I arrived that my car was ready for pickup and everything was fixed as Ivan said (but not the case at all.) I get there, get my keys, turn on my car and my yield light and SOS lights are on, which were not on when I dropped my car off (a month ago.) Keep in mind, I have a VW Taos & when I first bought the car this happened ,so I took it back to the dealership and they resolved it, said it won't happen again because they replaced it. So after waiting at the Shop for an additional 35 mins with no update on my car, I finally tell them I have to get back to work so I can have the rental car keys back (that I already gave them bc I was assured my car was ready.) All 3 of the employees look at me like I have 3 heads, like I am inconveniencing them. Meanwhile while I was sitting there waiting, they gave me no update except it will be "a few more minutes" the lies continued.... 2 + hours later I get a call from Ivan saying my car is ready for pickup. I ask if the light is still on? (Why I even have to ask this is beyond me) He says yeah but you can come pick it up. WTF! I literally left it there to get it resolved. Now I'm super annoyed and calling out their lies and BS; why say it will be a few minutes to fix when it's not the case at all, and you can't really fix it. He transfers me to his manager who is just as bad & tells me I now have to take it to the dealership to get it resolved. Talking to me like I am stupid in a very condescending tone. Not sure if it's because I'm a woman and it's an auto body shop or if he's just this rude? I explain again that when I dropped the car off these lights weren't on, and now they are & its been previously fixed BY THE DEALERSHIP. But they are telling me that they were on and it's not their problem. Obviously this isn't going anywhere & they have wasted so much of my time already so I say I'll pick up my car right before 6pm after work that’s when you close, correct? He confirms and I say so if I come at 5:55pm someone will be there, The Manager Confirms Yes. THEN I go to pick up my car & Ivan is so unprofessional, he isn't giving me my keys saying he must close out my paperwork…which I already got when my car was "ready" 6 hours earlier that day. How doesn't he not know this? He knew I was coming to pick up my car, but is still wasting more of my time. Then he proceeds to tell me they actually close at 5pm not 6pm (Google says 6pm & HIS MANAGER CONFIRMED IT 3 hours ago) and he was waiting for me to come. ALL THE LIES are comical at this point. Okay if you’re waiting for me to come get my car, wouldn’t you have the paperwork ready or at least know it’s been already done?  All in all, this shop seems very unorganized & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & they can do no wrong.  So, if you have any issues at pick up don't expect them to take any accountability for their faults bc they won't. They just tell the customer to go elsewhere to get the issue fixed when they are the ones who caused it to begin with.

After reading all the excellent reviews about this place, I selected Erie-LaSalle. Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. I took my car to them at the end of September. Throughout the first 6-weeks they had my car, I rarely received updates from Robert. The only person who would answer my calls and check for the status on my car was Diamond. When I met Robert to pick up my car for the first time in mid-November, he informed he had the best mechanic on my car. I was hopeful. It was a disappointment when I got home to find some parts were shifted and not properly aligned--hood, fender, and plastic pillars. Thankfully they are part of State Farm's Service select, so I brought my car back for the first time. They took my car back at the end of November and did a same day repair for the plastic pillars--by sealing gaps with glue. Robert said this was the best the could do. I was irritated knowing this is not manufacturer standard. I returned now for a second time to have them address misaligned hood and fender, and requested for them to reorder the improperly installed pillars. Upon receiving my car, I was disappointed to see and feel the noticeable gaps and asymmetry between the hood and fender. Robert mentioned "well it's (installing the hood) a two person job, but we do it with one, you know." Just realize taking your car here, may lead to sub-par craftsmanship do to cutting corners. At this point I had to ask State Farm to intervene. I returned for a third time to have my car evaluated. At this point, Robert refused to acknowledge me. Diamond handled the whole appointment professionally. Jay then over took my case when I returned the fourth time to drop my car off for them to correct their improperly installed parts. His assistance was limited, since he went on vacation and had no-one update me on my car. It is now the end of January and I am finally getting my car back to the standard I should have received it. This entire time the only two good thing about this place is Diamond, who has communicated with me via phone and email & their partnership with Enterprise which makes it easy to get a long-term rental with pick up and drop to Erie-LaSalle.

This place has amazing service! The staff was very kind and fixed my car in just 4 days. They even washed my car too! Highly recommend for car repairs!

Customer service was excellent. They kept me up to date regularly, even through the holiday. They addressed and answered all my concerns. Unfortunately something did not work when I got home but they offered to rectify it immediately. Would highly recommend this shop. Thanks especially to Diamond and Ivan.

Did a good job on my vehicle however they didn’t detail it like they claimed they was going to do and the side mirror detection still doesn't work, even though they claimed it was working properly. Receptionist attitude is superb however when initially called about my car the person assigned to my vehicle (I’ll withhold names) acted like I was a burden and didn’t have a welcoming tone. Beside those things good experience. Would recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough about the service and patience Steven and his team showed throughout a frustrating process. USAA assigned an incompetent adjuster which turned a bumper repair into the most long, dramatic, & annoying experience possible. Despite that, Steven was patient, communicative, and thorough. The work was done and it looks like no damage ever happened.

Working with Erie-LaSalle Body Shop for my car's repairs was a great experience. Diamond at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and she was able to get me in sooner than I expected which was so appreciated. Robert was easy to talk to, upfront about the estimate, and worked directly with my insurance company so I barely had to lift a finger. Plus, while my car was in the shop, Matt called with regular updates to keep me informed about parts delivery, how the work was going, and the estimated completion date. All-in-all, I highly recommend them! The entire team was so helpful and made a stressful experience so much easier to handle. And my car is good as new! Thank you!!

Driving in this city is rough, and so I've had more need for Erie-Lasalle than I'd like. But they make the process so easy. From handling insurance, rental cars, and doing a fantastic repair job for fair cost. They also have been able to fix the tricky auto drive cameras on my Tesla. Robert is especially helpful. Could not recommend more.
