Just want to give kudos to this repair shop and mechanic Ken . Used this place for the first time on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson with no heat , after another local shop told me they couldn't find a problem and another told me that's just how Hyundais are I took the vehicle here on a recommendation and couldn't be more ecstatic . They diagnosed and pinpointed the issue to the Blend door actuator and fixed at a very reasonable price ! Heat works perfectly and we finally have hot air again ! Also had them do some transmission maintenance that I was told can only be done by Hyundai and once again they came thru ! I have 4 vehicles total that I will be taking here from now on . You can't go wrong with these guys honesty and knowledge . Customer for life !

As I write this, the shop has a 4.8 Star rating. My 5 stars won't pull that average up much because it's already so close. This doesn't surprise me. I've been going to Ernie's for about 13 years. The main reason is: trust. On top of that, Ernie and Larry are two of the most pleasant people you'll ever meet.

Great service and price on a new set of tires and wheel alignment and oil change. Told Ernie what tires I liked and he had them ordered, and delivered and ready to install the next day. Ready for summer travel. Ernies offers personalized service and attention to detail.

My 2015 Silverado with AFM (active fuel management) developed lifter ticking, this destroyed the cam shaft and a stuck lifter. Being retired I could not afford a new vehicle, so after recommendations from a retired Jasper engine installer, and another friend that had his engine replaced, I called Ernie, and after the first phone call, he makes you feel warm and fuzzy knowing they are capable of this huge task. I will bring all my repair needs to Ernie’s shop. They are the best. Jasper’s warranty is 3 years or 100,000 miles, parts and labor.

I recently had the pleasure of having Ernie's work on my car (oil change and battery replacement) and it turned what is normally a long, unpleasant and expensive ordeal at the dealership into a breeze. Super nice owners, unusually fair prices, and they let my husband take home a couple of complimentary car calendars for my toddler, who is obsessed with cars. Give em a try and you won't go anywhere else again!

Specify very clearly what should be done upfront. I brought in a clunker that I didn't want to put major investments into, and told them so. Had a check engine light and ac not working, and I wanted both assessed. I asked what the ac issue might be, and got an estimate if it only needed freon recharged. I figured I should get the estimate on the engine warning first because that might be the most expensive. I get a call where they give me the cost for the engine warning and it was not bad. So i tell him that everything can be fixed if the ac issue will be resolved with a freon recharge. I get a call back later that the engine warning issue is fixed but that the ac needs a new compressor which is gonna cost a thousand dollars... If I had known i would have to shell out 1000 just to fix the ac alone I wouldn't have bothered doing anything with the car. They explained that this was miscommunication and that they could take out the part put in to fix the check engine warning, and only charge for the labor. At this point I didn't want to have to deal with being without a car for another day and Ubering back and forth to the shop. So i didn't bother. I'm sure it could have been an honest mistake but you would think a mechanic that's been around for some time would have the sense to figure out an estimate for all issues, not just assess and fix one by one....

Unfortunately I have to edit my review. Check engine light issue looked at 3 times and no resolution. Just came back after the 3rd attempt and they did not even reset the check engine light. My guess is they did nothing this 3rd attempt / visit. Steve

I was contemplating whether to leave a review as I normally do for everywhere I go or if I shouldn’t, but I am. Took the car in for an alignment, the job was well done ! Customer service was great. Great ppl, great shop. My only complaint is be more careful when performing the job. I detail cars and I know my cars. Whomever was working on my car must have leaned on it or something because they scratched my car. My car is coated so this will be a pain to fix. I actually noticed the technician rubbing the damaged area and then looked towards the waiting area nervously to see if I noticed which I did. I just didn’t notice what he was trying to rub so discreetly until I got home. Again the work was well done. Just be a bit more careful as now I have to fix this.

These guys are so nice and honest. They work fast. I had a front end problem that had been misdiagnosed at 3 other shops. Ernie figured it out in maybe 10 minutes and fixed it same day! This is the only shop I will go to now!
