Cool spot. Very quick and very honest. At first I doubted due to a bad review I saw. But Edgar is an honest mechanic. Honest enough to not sell me something my car did not need ! Remember people you get what you pay for ! Plus they give 2yr warranty on their work ! Dealer gives only 1yr. I’m sticking with ES Auto Repair

Had my car for 2 days he said it was the fuel pump..part distribution ask what fuel pump left or the right I ask him which one he said he doesn't know so I told him y are u making me buy parts if that's not the problem his responds will come pick up ur car than..not once he check my car just ran by looking at hearing the car ..money not an option I watch out for Edgar takes advantage of who he can he got mad because I told him y is it that u don't know what part ur taking off ..scammer

They charged me $398 to replace a starter, something that usually only cost $250 at most. My car is Toyota Corolla 2003. This car service, E.S. Auto Repair is connected to the garage next to it, Body Builder Automotive. Edgar, the mechanic who work for E.S. Auto Repair also operates in that Body Builder Automotive. My car broke down on a Sunday afternoon in Marina del Ray, CA. When my AAA road assistant came he warned me that the area is an expensive area hence any car service in that area would charge a lot. He recommended his friend, Edgar. Thinking I would get a fair price I took my car there. They know it would cost me a lot to tow my car elsewhere so I was stuck and they sure took advantage of it.

This company lacks transparency. First, they demanded I pay over $2,000 in storage fees without an invoice or verbal notice for a few days of storage ($180 per day). Then, they attempted to put a lien on my vehicle which I denied. And now, they are refusing to reach a settlement for my vehicle to be released and claiming full ownership of it. After many attempts to reach an agreement, I filed a small claim and got the cops involved but they are still refusing to cooperate with me. Not only does this company lack transparency but they do not value customer service. As a full time student, this experience has been traumatizing, mentally draining, and cruel.

I highly recommend this Auto shop. Great service and good prices. Definitely my go to for my family's and friends car repair. Family ran business and the mechanics "E" gets the job done in a timely manner. You really can't ask for anything more. Just don't go up their confusing his great customers service for being weak. Trust me. You want him in your corner.
