I love this place .he fix my engine like brand new again ! I been having a lot of problems with it to overheating to ball joints giving out on me too. Brakes to power steering . Everything about the truck . It’s 2000 gmc Sonoma v6 now it’s like you can’t even tell if the engine is on its so quiet been going for years and will continue to go as long as I can

My brother take his truck for repairing the transmission he fixed it and gave him 1 year warranty so after a few months it broke again so we took it back and he tough we didn’t have the received because he said no receipt no warranty, so he show him the receipt well now he is saying the computer was the first problem, and there’s nothing wrong with the transmisión when it’s showing the same problem when he said the transition had to be changed. The truck it’s been there more than a month in wich tkme my brother had to pay Uber to go to school and work, and because he claims he has too much work and can’t repair it, and if we take the truck back he will not validate the warranty so terrible service if he don’t fix the problem I will have to report it to the BBB please don’t take your car here their warranty doesn’t mean anything for them. We thought he was a good mechanic because of their warranty but apparently he’s not until he fix my brother truck this review will be here, I’m willing to change my review when he fix the problem

I was a single mother and took my car for years. Ever since I took it the first time one thing after the other kept popping up. I had to purchase a new vehicle. When I remarried when my father in law took a look at the old vehicle and noticed they had cut wires, hoses, let loose things so with time I had to take it back. Yes they are kind and courteous but they take advantage of people who don't know about mechanics. Please be aware.

My wife will take her 98 Jeep to them for small repairs then of all sudden check engine light will turn on they will say that it needed more complex repairs. Every time one thing got fixed another repair was needed. I also took our 2014 CRV for small repair then all of sudden the battery will drain he fixed it. When I was driving it home it was making a loud rattle noise took it back and they said it need more expensive repairs. That's when I decided to take both vehicles to my dad and he told me they had cut wires from the jeep to overrun the ac and also removed parts of the fan in the crv and that's why it made that noise. We trusted this place for months since we don't know much about vehicles but we finally caught on. Yes the personnel are nice and respectful but they take advantage of your kindness and lack of knowledge to vehicles. Please don't take your vehicle here not even for an oil change because problems will start happening to your car.

I have been coming to escondido for over 15 years, not once have I ever had a problem. He did a complete motor overhaul on my 98 yukon 10 years ago, and my SUV is still running strong with no problems. He has also fixed many other vehicles of mine over this 15 year span with no problems. He does charge for his work tho, but like they say you pay for what you get and I recommend him highly.

speaks both English and Spanish but are only good at small repairs like oil change or brake job tire balance or A/C not good to take for cylinder heads, vacuum leaks, or anything semi major.

I brought my car in for an oil change and to replace a part for my ac fan. When I picked it up the check engine light was on and he tried telling me I needed a tune up and oxygen sensor. I couldn't understand how this was even possible and refused to let him work on it. When I had someone else look, the oxygen sensor wires had been cut. It is obvious and where the part is located there is no way they were accidentally cut (I still have the part). Then, a couple months later my son changed my oil. Only a couple months later and the oil came out like mud and was't even 5 liters worth of oil. Consumer beware!! It is shops like this that give other mechanics a bad reputation!! I would have a hard time proving everything, so I am at least letting everyone know!!

these guys suck...... they couldn't fix my truck and i ended up taking it to my nephew that is a student still and he fixed it in one day...... the owner Luis is just a horrible person.... sorry but i dont reccomend this place
