Went to European Auto Repair for a pre-purchase inspection of an used 2016 BMW 328i. Great decision and sobering results ! The car was being sold by an apparently reputable Volvo dealer in Walnut Creek. Carlos Showing and his crew did a very thorough inspection uncovering several problems that the vendor had not disclosed. Carlos was also very patient and clear in showing and explaining to me the issues that he had found, including taking me under the car to look at bushings, engine mounts etc. A little expensive, but definitely worth it. Highly recommended !

I drive over 35 miles (each way) to get my cars serviced by Carlos. He was referred to me by a family member. It's hard to find someone trustworthy. Carlos is knowledgeable, not pushy, and charges reasonable prices for same if not better work compared to a dealership.

Carlos felt so bad for us as the repairs went from bad to worse. He kept informed the whole time. We appreciated his concern. He gave a written outline and receipt for the repairs. We have Carlos 5 Stars!

Remarkable Experience! I was only in the area for a week and brought my SQ5 Audi here to have the timing chain inspected. Carlos took the extra time to do all of the diagnostic tests and provide a detailed review of the vehicle. Bottom line, he got me in as a new client, took time to listen and respond to my concerns, communicated with direct and well priced solutions and GREATLY improved the condition and safety of my car. Car issues are always stressful, you can relax and trust this shop. Can't thank you enough Carlos!

Very nice mechanics. Unfortunately, they were too busy to assist me. But a different auto shop referred me to them so I'm pretty sure they do a great job.

I don’t recommend working on an older Mercedes youtlrself unless you really know what you’re doing. Mine is a 1978 300 D Carlos is very Mercedes’ savy and has always done a wonderful job for me and his prices are fair.

Carlos John and the whole staff of technicians at European Auto Repair are knowledgeable, reliable, efficient yet thorough professionals. Between our family two mk4 golfs. They end up seeing us every other month 1🤷‍♂️. No job to big or to intricate for them. Their competency is unmatched. You get what you pay for.

I took my mother's C300 here for a complete engine replacement. It couldn't have been a better experience, this was the most thorough and detailed mechanical service I've ever been a part of. Jose was so unbelievably meticulous and wanted to triple check everything on the used motor we purchased before installing. He went above and beyond at every step of the way and his communication was exceptional. I will be taking all of my cars here in the future. It is truly hard to find an auto shop that works with this level of ethical and service standards today. Thank you!
