I received excellent work and exceptional communication from the people of Everett Street Auto works & Mechanics. They resolved a problem with a Check Engine light on my 1999 year old vehicle, that two other shops failed to fix. I then decided to have them replace the car's timing chain and belts, as well as fix a problem with my fuel gauge. Because of the age, and Japanese origin of the car, they were unable to reprogram the car''s computer due to the lack of the appropriate software. In spite of the amount of time and effort they expended, they didn't charge me a dime for that work. Thanks!

I've been going to Everett Street for around 2-3 years now, and they've been my mechanic for nearly everything. I appreciate all they do, but this time was pretty disappointing, to be honest. I had a car accident a few weeks ago and had my car towed into their shop. It took about 2 weeks to get fixed, which is no problem, I understand. $4600 spent on the repairs, again, not a problem, I understand. Once I picked my car up two days ago, however, I immediately noticed that my dash was saying "WASHER FLUID LOW", which doesn't make any sense because one of the things they did was replace my washer fluid reservoir, so I would assume they filled up the new one. I filled it up multiple times, and it's definitely full, but the warning is still on my dash. I also noticed the alignment was off, which is strange because they told me once everything else was done, they'd check it and if it needed an alignment, they'd do that the morning of pickup, so it should have been done. The tire light also came on, so I ended up going to Les Schwab this morning to get that checked out. After having spent $4600 at Everett Street, I had to pay an additional $350 for a flat repair, replacing all TPMS sensors, and an alignment. They told me they couldn't fully align my car because my subframe needs adjusting (picture of the invoice and the alignment attached). I'm not really sure what happened here. I understand this was a big job and things could potentially get missed (it was also Thanksgiving week when I picked it up so maybe they were just busy), but for them to tell me they would check the alignment and then apparently not do so, somehow miss a flat, cause my washer fluid warning message to come on even though I have a new reservoir in there, and miss my subframe needing adjusting is really disappointing. I would love to continue going to Everett Street, as everyone has always been so nice and they work the fastest out of any mechanic I've had, but this was a bit of a letdown.

I brought my 2012 Lincoln MKZ to the dealer to have the water pump replaced. The work is much more involved than a typical car, but the dealer wanted over $6,000 to do the work. I consulted with my friend who is a mechanic and has lots of experience with this specific issue on these engines. He said the work should cost roughly half of what the dealer was quoting. I did some research to identify a good local mechanic and I’m so thankful I discovered Everett. I had the car towed to Everettt and they did the water pump as well as additional work for far less than what the dealer was asking. My son picked up the car and he told me the guys in the shop are super nice. My experience with them over the phone was excellent. I’ll be taking all my cars to Everett from now on.

I brought my car in for a regular inspection, they found a couple issues including a nail in one of my tires and suggested either patching it or replacing the tires for a long term solution (they were worn anyways). I decided to just patch it as a short term solution. When they went to patch it they realized the nail was small and hadn't actually punctured the tire. So they told me the patch wasn't needed and gave me the car back without charging me anything. I was shocked, great service.
