I never leave reviews for places, but the situation I’ve had to deal with here has been extremely frustrating. I was having an issue with my car where it would stall out, my steering wheel would lock up, and it felt like I was running out of gas. It would happen on highways, normal streets, and even in my neighborhood. Simply put, my car was not safe to drive. Not really for me, but for the people around me that would be driving behind me and have no warning that my car would stall out and drop 20 MPH in mere seconds. I brought my car into this place twice. The first time they fixed other issues that were going on but not the issue with the car stalling out. So I brought it in a second time. This time I had a video of what was going on and the car had also been stalling out more frequently than before. Even completely shutting down when I would stop. I got a call about the car and it wasn’t doing what I said it was doing so they recommended doing a maintenance check. So I told them to go ahead and do it, in hopes that it would fix the car. Long story short, it didn’t. The car was still stalling out. Even more frequently now, and multiple times on the highway. I called November 13th in hopes of getting back in or even getting a refund. I never got a call back and finally made it back in today, November 20th. Fortunately I took my car to a different mechanic during that time and got the issued fixed. I went in today hoping to just get a refund for my last service that cost $225 dollars and didn’t fix my issue. I thought that would be the fair compromise because I was driving a car that wasn’t safe to drive and should have never been given back to me. Unfortunately I was not able to get the refund because the from their perspective the maintenance job they performed was just a recommendation and they had no idea if it would fix the car or not because it wasn’t doing what I said it was doing. I understand not being able to fix something it’s not doing what I’m saying it doing, but the simple fact is my car was doing it and I had a video of it. Once I got the call I said to go ahead and proceed because I trust this crew as experts and hoping it fixes my car. It did not. Thankfully my car is fixed not, but not from Expert Auto Center. Listen, I know I sound like a Karen right now. But my car wasn’t safe to drive and that’s a big problem for myself and the drivers around me. I could have legitimately put myself, or someone in danger. I really want my refund for my maintenance job because it feels like they’re able to hide it because “every car needs it” so there’s no argument that it was needed. I get it. I just feel like, as the customer, I wasted my money on something I never needed and shouldn’t have said yes over the phone, but I was hoping it would fix my car, and I know the techs wanted that too. The end goal was go get the car fix and I’m just frustrated how much money I had to spend to for that to never happen here.

I stopped by the shop to see about getting a wheel alignment. The receptionist told me it was on a first come first served basis. She told me to have my car there at 7:30 when they open to get the job done. The next day I arrived at 7:00. Apparently they opened early. I filled out the paperwork and gave the guy my keys. I walked home and waited for a call. At noon I walked back down to the shop and my car was still sitting in the same spot. Untouched. I thought I got the car there early enough to be “first served”. Apparently I wasn’t first, second, or third.

Expert Auto on Woodlawn is where I go. This location does good work and is honest. For example, had my wife's Honda Odyssey rotors and brake pads replaced about a year ago at this location. Recently my wife complained about the car shaking when braking. Took the van back to Woodlawn loc. and confirmed the brake pads had failed early. Brake pads replaced, under warranty and I was good to go.

I had 3 oil change in 6 months at auto expert in Woodlawn and 37th ,they keep telling I’m low in oil and I told them I just got oil change from you guys less than 2 months ago,2nd time going in,I ask them to do diagnose on my vehicle,they said they couldn’t find anything wrong,and put more oil in my vehicle,3rd time going in with full noise in my engine and they heard it and said that they was going diagnose my vehicle again ,so next day I call and they said nothing wrong just low in oil again which I just had oil change from them less than 2 months ago,so they give me more oil.I decided to take my vehicle into another shop a couple days later and when they lift up my vehicle and notice I had oil leak around my oil pan and that’s why my oil was low all the time.They made me a video to see where it was leaking.The idiots at auto expert keep telling they diagnosed my vehicle which they never did and keep telling me that there was no problem.

I'm glad I went here, inspection my car and told me what was wrong and got it done, the price is excellent I'm very happy with the price. Ill come back here for oil changed, inspection before I go out of town. Maybe they should take my car for drive so they can inspect to see what is wrong. The brake vibration still occurs? As of now 8/25/24 My whole car vibration and caused the car stopped working for few seconds this morning in the rain. And engine light came back on and the sounds when I drive it still same issues. Not very happy. Need to take a look and do deep inspection to see what caused that. I need someone to drive my car and it will help to see what is really wrong. I spent $333 to get all fixed and the issues came back...

I called the shop on woodlawn and asked if they could help with a taillight. The person said to swing on by so my husband drove over and the front desk person told them they were too busy today and he needed to leave. I called to ask why they would send us away after calling and said we would be leaving a bad review. The person called me back in a few minutes telling me to make sure and tell everyone! And then hung up on me. Definitely not the way to conduct a business!

If I could give ten stars I would. Expert Auto Center does great work and is time efficient. My AC wasn’t blowing cold air and they had to replace the compressor. Dropped my car off at 9am and they had it blowing cold air by 5pm the same day. What really made me want to rave about this place was the honesty. As a 20 year old girl it can be hard to trust auto shops and fully trust that they are going to give you a fair price. Here they walked me through everything that they had to do and always gave me a choice before charging me for something unexpected. They are honest and very nice people. Would highly recommend for all auto work!

Went in with a replacement headlight bulb, but overwhelmed at trying to replace it on our ‘17 Ford Escape. They got it fixed super quick and at a small price. Glad I chose them. Would definitely return again.

I do most of my own work but for things that are too big of a job these folks are the only ones around I trust. Honest and good results. Had a great experience with multiple locations.

We didn't get the car in until 1:30 as we had troubles starting it - we were supposed to be there in the morning. They did a great job and changed the oil, fixed a tire and replaced the battery. I recommend this place.

I hate to be this person to leave a bad review but i feel like this will need to be said. We went here to have a checkup on my boyfriends jeep. Long story short, we were told that he would have to pay nearly 7k to get a new transmission and other issues. That was out of the question. So we went to another place where he got his car called Driven Auto, they told him he only has a transmission leak and a slight oil leak and he would need about 1k to fix it. They were completely honest with us and told us theres 0 reason he needs a new transmission. I do not recommend expert auto for this reason.

They were able to get us in the same day for a tire inspection and valve stem adjustment. Went to pick it up and they didn’t end up charging us for the labor or service visit. Will definitely be bringing our cars back for service!

A couple of months ago my 2013 Honda Accord needed new headlight bulbs so I went and purchased them at an auto parts store. My husband was crazy busy and unable to find time to put them in so I went to expert auto center. They quickly put them in and didn’t charge me anything for the labor. I told them I would be happy to pay them, but they just smiled and said they were happy to do it. Today I’m taking my Honda in for an oil change. They have won my business. As I read all the other reviews on here with five stars, I am not surprised. Looking forward to doing business with them as we have need.

My 09 Hummer had a rough idle and they diagnosed the problem as bad motor mounts. They put on new motor mounts and it runs smooth again! They got it fixed in a day and for a fair price! good job Expert Auto Center, and the manager Javier was very friendly.

Was having issues figuring out just where the antifreeze was going in my daughter’s car yesterday. Took it to these guys and wow !!! Let’s just say I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They looked busy . Took her car in there around 1: 30 . They called an hour later and already had it diagnosed as the water pump leaking. Told them to go ahead and get it done when they can. They called me at 5:21 to say it was already done. Super impressed . Very professional staff as well. Wish they had a location in south Wichita area. All we have around here is the jiffy lube.

We have taken my daughters car here twice when the engine light came on. Both times they spent quite a bit of time trying to get it to come back on and have not been able to fix it themselves. This last weekend we took it in again same issue, they also went above and beyond. They replaced a headlight lightbulb, and reattached her bumper that had fallen off. Her light is coming on because of a sensor malfunction, and while they could not replace the sensor, they didn't charge us anything for the time they spent, for fixing the bumper and replacing the headlight. They did it all for free. We will be taking all of our cars here moving forward!
