The guys here are super nice and honest. Took it there for what I thought was an oil leak, and James took one look at it and identified that I had a drain plug that was just screwed loose. He tightened it up and added oil and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Thank you James!

i usually go the express smyrna. they always been fantastic. had some brake work w them and they were done on about 2hrs. when inspected by them when i brought my car in. they told me that they couldnt in good conscience allow me to drive. they always been trustworthy. i drive from cascade rd sw to them when i can

Thank you Chris R for fixing my High Beams during an oil change on 10/22/24 at 11:03 AM. Excellent service and quality every step of the way. My Camry is 20 years old and the high beams had not been working and Chris took the initiative to investigate why. I've always had great service at Howell Mill Road location. The drive is 7 miles from my home in Brookhaven and well worth the drive. I'm very appreciative of James, his team and a fantastic work ethic demonstrated by al!!

Usually do not write reviews but today has warranted one. I arrived at 11:47 and it was only two cars ahead of me. So 30 mins max should have been the amount of time I had to wait but I did not receive service until 115. There are two lines in operation. One line was able to get several service while I had not moved 1 inch. Asked the attendant what was the issue on the difference between the service time and he wasn’t able to provide me an answer. This is unacceptable, if you can go somewhere else I would advice that or you’ll waste 2 hours waiting on a “10 minute” oil change.

The technicians I spoke with at this Howell Mill location were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Fast service once I got into the bay from waiting in line - these guys were constantly knocking out oil changes without a break. I will definitely be back for my next service!

Express Oil has been our go to for oil changes for years, but James went above and beyond when I brought my car in to have the brakes looked at. He was straight forward with his analysis of my needs and didn’t try to upsell me. Not only did he complete the repairs we agreed upon, but he also fixed my burnt out turn signal, rotated my tires, patched a nail hole, and reinstalled my sagging splash guard. James saved me multiple trips to the shop that I had been putting off without knowing what a big help that was for me.

My experience yesterday with Jonathan was AMAZING! It was the most comprehensive oil change I have ever had. I could tell that Jonathan really cared about me as a customer. He was very friendly and offered great customer service. My oil change was done very quickly and the prices were fair. This place was great, and I will come back again. In my opinion, their business model is simple: provide professional, honest, and quality service, and the customers will automatically come back to you. Highly recommend!

I looked for emissions stations near Hapeville, Georgia but they needed to update their software. However, I received a referral from the Neighborhood App to get emissions testing done at the Express Oil Change. I was greeted by one of the employees very politely and quickly. They conducted the emissions testing very quickly. One of the employees fixed a noisy problem on my front door on the driver side. This business provided excellent customer service.

Initially, my visit was decent. Until My car started pouring out oil. I brought my car back up to the shop to be looked over again. I was told that my oil was NOT leaking and it was just a coolant. I had my technician look over the car again, and I was also shown WITH MY OWN EYES where the oil was coming from. I then took my car to an another repair shop, specialized and working on my car as my car started to smoke after driving it. I was again informed that I had a MAJOR OIL Leak as well as a minor coolant leak. When I tried to inform the management here, I was rudely spoke to by ALFRED who gave me little to no help with this issue. He was extremely disgusting as he was one of the main people working on my car the first time I brought it in. I luckily have proof of them admitting to my car not having any issues regarding my engine prior. But I will not be letting up until my issue is rectified with someone who is professional

It's fast for oil changes, but I went for a transmission fluid change, hoping to save some money compared to going to a dealership. To be fair, it was also quick and convenient. First of all, I made an appointment - I get there and was told I still need to wait in the oil change line. This was not clear at the location or on the website and the parking space is tight and it was busy, so it just made me look bad. Second of all, in my appointment notes I explicitly said I want a fluid change NOT a flush, for my own personal reasons and to protect my car from damage. I get in the line and told the employee I was there for a transmission fluid change and made sure to say I didn't want a flush. I was told "it's the same thing" but it's not the same thing at all. I then was charged a few dollars under $200 which is comparable to transmission flush costs instead of just a change. Based on both the price and the response to my request, one can conclude the flush was done instead of the change. Hopefully all will be okay with my car. My issue is that I explicitly said what I needed done and this was ignored. If it's not a service y'all can do just tell me that and I'll go elsewhere. I came here because I've had good experiences in the past.

The service was good overall, but I’m concerned about what happened initially. The first person who checked my car connected the extractor machine's hose to a container that had a black liquid inside. I assumed this container was empty and intended to collect my old engine oil. However, instead of extracting the oil, this black liquid went into my engine, and the container became empty. Then, another person, who appeared to be an expert, came over and looked confused when he saw the empty container. He adjusted the device, and only then did my old engine oil start to drain out. I’m worried that my car might have received another vehicle's engine oil due to the previous person's mistake. I saw the expert reprimanding the first person, and he(expert) did eventually complete the job properly. However, I’m concerned that the liquid the first person injected could be someone else’s engine oil and that it might damage my car.

I was in a hurry for work but had a leaking valve stem on my tire. They got me in and out in 15 minutes, the professionalism was above standard, and the team spirit was noticeable. Great job guys and thank you!!!!
