Smooth operation for state inspection sticker. The line moves at an adequate pace. Be prepared to wait 10+ minutes per car, but that means they are actually doing an inspection

Waited 40min to get an inspection only to be told they were shutting down due to rain. When I got there it was starting to rain so they could have informed me earlier. Drove over to Tricare and got it done in 15mins.

I have been having my vehicles serviced at this location of Express Oil Change for more years and cars than I can remember. Despite having undergone ownership/management changes over these years, this location’s customer service has always been first rate. However, this latest crew—namely Sean and Mike—treated me with a welcoming greeting, swift attention, courtesy, respect, and kindness. Once parked in the oil change bay, I rolled the windows down to wait in the car with the battery engaged to listen to National Public Radio. Mike, I believe it was (sorry Sean if this was you), came to my open window and reached in to turn off my headlights, kindly warning me that leaving the lights on would drain my battery. I thanked him for the extra nicety that he did not have to extend, but small gestures such as this made me feel like I was a valued customer. While Mike was inflating my tires, I asked him for a recommendation on the best place to buy tires. I realized later what an idiotic question this was, being that the company is co-named Tire Engineers and sells tires. He could easily have made me feel foolish, but rather he said that he would work up a quote, and that I was free to compare their prices with other tire sales outlets. He inspected my tires and said that the two in the rear still had life to them and gave me a competitive quote on two tires, explaining that, if I were to make the purchase, I should have them installed on the rear axle and rotate the rear wheels to the front axle. He could have tried to sell me on four tires, but he gave me the most reasonable and recommended option. After paying (and receiving an unexpected discount), I mentioned to Sean that I would be back to have my soon-to-expire inspection sticker renewed. He asked if I would like to have it done now. I said sure. He explained how many vehicles were waiting before my car would be inspected and asked me to just leave the keys in the ignition. He escorted me to the waiting area and courteously reached around me and, like a true gentleman, opened the door for me. I must say, I was touched by this small gesture of hospitality. At a time when I had given up on the concept of customer service, a rare and dying art, Sean and Mike and the entire Express Oil Change crew renewed my faith that treating customers well pays off in the form of loyal, satisfied customers. Consider me one of them.

I’ve had some terrible experiences at several tire shops here in Baton Rouge. This was the easiest, quickest experience I have had with a tire change. I got a flat that couldn’t be patched, they ordered the tire, it arrived the same day, and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Great customer service!

I came here a few months ago for an inspection sticker and was told my car failed inspection because my window tint was reading 37% and my brow tint on front windshield was too long. I immediately went by the place that did my tint (I had told them I wanted legal tint done) and they checked all my windows and their tool read 43%. They also told me that my window brow was legal because it was above my AS1 line on my cars windshield. I went to another inspector and was able to get a sticker the same day with no issues. I’ve used this place a few times in the past with my old car and never had an issue. I guess they thought they could swindle a female out of $20. I highly recommend avoiding this place for an inspection sticker.

If you need tires, their prices can't be beat. If you need an inspection sticker, very fast, prompt service. They even have a cooled waiting room and bottled water while you wait. Exceptional, affordable services. Thank yall!

Waited for a inspection sticker about 10 minutes guy finally came and then proceeded to wait for a few seconds for my app to upload my insurance card and then tells me I’m just gonna do the person behind me because my insurance took to long for his liking

We went in for a routine oil change btw 2-3pm, the car was on the side of the road by 8pm. I spoke with them approx 2month with open communication. District manager said he would get with Hyundai to get to the source of what cause the motor to cease by nightfall, he failed to do so, and stopped answering my calls and emails. Pics are 4hrs after “routine oil change”

I WANT A REFUND!!!! One Star is too much to rate this establishment. First, let me start out by saying that Sean who works in the oil change dept is great, if wasn't for him, I would rate this place a negative. It was NOTHING express the day I came, I waited for three and half hours!!! The services I was there for were: Oil Change, 2 Front tires, and Brakes. The part that pissed me off, was the overcharge for services I DIDN'T receive. The older gentleman who works in tires told me that I DIDN"T need to replace it BUT charged me $150 to have the same brake pads that I already had on my car, with sqeaks and ALL. The very next day, I took my car to a tire shop on Plank Rd., was charged $40 for better quality brake pads, and guess what NO MORE SQEAKS. I would NEVER come to this place EVER AGAIN. What a RIP OFF. Brakes don't cost $150. What a SCAM

Luckily this location is convenient to my office. They're always busy but had me in and out with a new inspection sticker in about 20 minutes. Employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend!

DON’T GO HERE!! Absolutely do not get a Brake tag Inspection here. The parking lot is too small, so they make you park and wait, and the lose track of which car was next. I waited nearly 2 HOURS and they let 2 cars go in front of me. Unless you want to spend your whole day getting a sticker, just go somewhere else. Also, instead of telling you your car may fail inspection, and telling you to come back later when it’s fixed. They make you wait in line for hours and then charge you for the inspection just to fail your car and make you wait all over again to come back and get it reinspected. DONT COME HERE. I wrote this review while I was waiting for 2 hours.

I know there are a few locations in Baton Rouge, but this one on Perkins Road near Essen is my favorite. If you're from Baton Rouge, you know our road needs a lot of work. I've gotten a few tires from here, oil changes and an inspection sticker. It's hard now to find a place with friendly staff, great location, and good customer service. If you're not looking for it, you will definitely pass it up. Remember, be safe out there, be kind to others, and thank me later.
