I came by today and had Brian help me with my oil change. He was super friendly and helpful! Helped me get a coupon that was better than the one I had brought in. Super quick service, oil change, filter change and I added on a wiper change while I was there. Will come by this place again!

Finding a good mechanic is hard and before I go anywhere I call around to figure out prices and see who feels like they are genuine people. I found this place when I moved here and have come a few times and always had a good experience. So today I was talking to Larry and he was helping me with everything for my car we talked about pricing and it was the same as I was quoted over the phone. I got my breaks done and someone else came to cash me out and somehow now my price was double. I wish I had his name because he was really rude about everything as if I was trying to get away with something...I tried to explain to him that the price he was giving me was not what we talked about and I could tell he was getting mad. That's when Larry came politely asked me to give him a few minutes. When he came back everything was situated and back to the original price we had discussed. So while I did not appreciate the other guy or his attitude, Larry was very helpful and if it wasn't for him this would have been a bigger problem. It's people like him that keep businesses like this up and running.

They told me my coolant was leaking internally after doing a compression test and then recommended me to an exhaust shop so I could have my engine "Taken apart and looked at". They didn't even pull a spark plug or check my oil to see if it was leaking internally. Turns out I was just low on coolant and needed a new cap. I was getting ready to leave and as I was backing out of the parking spot that they parked my car in, I heard a loud scraping sound and my bumper was scraped on the bottom. If you have any kind of performance or low car I would not recommend coming here.

Every time I come to Express Oil change they are so helpful. They never try to oversell me. Brian is normally the one who helps me but today Larry did and he was great too! Trustworthy and reliable. Theses guys are awesome!

I recently had an exceptional experience at Express Oil thanks to Larry. I brought in my vehicle with two bad tires that were nearly out of warranty. Larry went above and beyond, initially offering a significant discount, but he ultimately decided to replace both tires for free! His generosity and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. I can't thank Larry enough for his help and will definitely return for future services. Highly recommend!

Thieves. I took my car for repair and they stole my tires and chaged them for a old and damaged ones. I had to travel 5 hours. I could have had an accident!!!!!!

Always great service from the guys here at Express Oil Change. Since moving to Jax for school three years ago, this is the only place I’ll go for an oil change. As a young woman, I do not feel intimidated or pressured to buy into anything other than my routine maintenance. The guys are friendly and knowledgeable, and have never charged a ridiculous price for the services needed. I recommend to all my UNF peers and friends.

Update- read their response. Obviously not a live person. I did not say a word about your speed or efficiency. Used to be my go to place. Same truck they have serviced many times. This time they tell me to pull through the oil change bay, for an alignment. Then they tell me they cannot service my lifted truck. That they serviced several times before. Must be nice to be too busy you turn work away.

I have been coming here for many years. This last visit I needed more than an oil change and Larry did a wonderful job helping me out. He was fair and professional. He helped me pick out the best tires for my vehicle. I have an older van that I'm not looking to put too much money into. Ty was also very helpful with installing parts so I can now use my windows and locks. He was also very professional and answered all my questions with a smile. I left a happy customer.

I was extremely aghast and taken back by complete unprofessionalism by employees. I am a repeat customer and never had issue before. They have always been pleasant and professional. However, I went there Friday to have oil changed on my Genesis GV 70. I had to supply my own oil and filter which I did. However, after 10 minutes of waiting (employee was staring at his phone non stop like a 13 year old girl on tik tok), he informed me that they would be unable to do oil change because the cover to oul filter was riveted on and they had no tools to remove it. When I pointed out how ridiculous that statement was that manufacturer would rivet a shield to prevent oil change made no sense. Not to mention I had the service done at this location previously.. He mumbled something under his breath and walked away. Finally another employee came back and admitted they could actually perform the duties they were hired to do. After about an hour, they bring the car around and I made payment. I asked if he had reset the Service Due on dashboard. He mumbled that yes of course. (Yes these employees only mumbled and would not make eye contact.) So of course when I got into my car after paying, the first thing I see is alert that "Service is overdue" on dashboard. I go back into the store and tell him he actually did not reset like he had just stated he did. (I guess that would explain lack of eye contact.) He walks back out to my car without any explanation and asks for keys. He spent another 10 minutes messing with controls on dashboard. When I asked him if he knew what he was doing or if the manager was available he became ruder and confrontational. I went around back and found a mechanic who was nice and professional. He did apologize and explained they had some new employees and manager and assistant manger were not there. He said he would tell the assistant manager to call me when he came in as I requested. Unfortunately, assistant manager never called me. Late afternoon I finally called location and after another 10 minute wait assistant manager Brian (or Eric), came on the phone and explained the situation that occurred. Not the friendliest guy and made no attempt to apologize for difficulties I had with his employees. He did ascertain that he would be there all day Saturday from 8AM until 5PM he would personally reset maintenace message on my vehicle. So Saturday around 11AM I made the 25 mile drive from St. Johns out to Beach Blvd only to be told that the Manager I spoke to was supposed to be there at 8AM but that he had not showed up yet and were still waiting for his arrival. So I am not very happy with poor customer service and very poor value I received. Not to mention time and effort I spent trying to get the issue resolved... Shockingly, I never did hear from the assistant manager after asking the employees to have him call me when he finally did arrive...

Great place for quick fluid changes or repairs. Never had any issues here and crew is on top of it soon as you pull in. Want I done correct and in a timely manner try these guys out.

I have been taking all three of my vehicles to Express Oil Change & Tire on Beach Blvd for years. John Dooley the manager there stepped up to the plate and came up with the winning home run. He found a persisting problem and took care of me like he has in the past. John values his customers greatly and bends over backwards to make sure his customers receive excellent service and care. We drove from Virginia to FL and on the way our transmission oil temperature light came on. I called every shop in the Jax Beach area and none of them had the honda ATF oil and were able to help us right away but this place. When I called in the man on the phone was really helpful, answered all my questions and said they will be able to help us right away. When we arrived I thought I was going to be spending at least $300 but the rep said we only needed a flush and it will be around $130. Got it done in 30min and we continued our vacation. Thank you!

Avoid these guys at all cost except for basic oil change. They double or trebled any parts cost - eg. Cabin Air Filter $49 charged ... the actual original is $17 from dealer. They double up on servicie charges - $165 ( take out & replace spark plugs ) plus $170 for plugs themselves ( dealership cost is $100) ... yes they had to be delivered to them ( 2miles ) but they basically added about $130 for delivery costs from dealership down road ... $84 for set of wiper blades that cost $32 from dealer ... you get the picture. They also try to upsell at every point... I am not at all happy - lost this customer for life.
