Received great service from Master Mechanic (Gabe). I highly recommend them and will definitely go back in the future. Anyone that is not necessarily mechanically inclined, like me, places a high value on trustworthiness and they have earned my trust.

The ineptitude of the technicians here cost me $244.04 at my dealership. I thought it was something with the engine and I had warranty but it turned out to be these people’s fault. James, the manager, is a HORRIBLE individual who has 0 customer service skills assumed responsibility but did not covered the expenses. Please do not go to this place. They don’t care about your vehicle and will cost you money to fix their mistakes. Below are photos of the oil that was spilled on my engine and could have cost me the engine itself.

I gave 1 star because I can not give 0. I went to get the oil and air filter changed, and supposedly they did it. Also, my car was making a noise when starting, and they told me it was the battery, that it was dead and I urgently needed to replace it. Of course, they sold me one, more expensive than it costs elsewhere. A week later, my car was still making noise when starting, so I took it to the mechanic, and it turns out it had nothing to do with the battery; it was a valve. The mechanic told me the oil needed to be changed because it was very thin and dirty. He showed me, and it turns out they hadn’t changed the oil or the filter. So, if you want to be robbed of $95.00 and get a fake oil and filter change, and be sold an overpriced battery you don’t need, you know where to go. --- Added after the Shop response --- It is the correct Shop, I was there, at Alafaya & Curry Ford, Orlando FL. the records are under my husbands name.

When we moved to FL, we lost our trusted mechanic. Thankfully, these guys are very helpful, reliable , efficient, and they don't push you to buy/fix anything unnecessary just to make a dollar. I highly recommend this place for all of your vehicle maintenance and repairs!

Wrong diagnosis My car was overheating, I took it for them to run a test to see where the leak was coming from. After about 1 hour They told me my car was leaking coolant from a bad water-pump, my turbo was leaking oil, and my compressor was going out. They didn’t charge me anything (diagnosis and oil change which I was very thankful for) but I took it to our family mechanic in Miami for his opinion. In the end their diagnosis was wrong, my cars thermostat went out and that’s why my car overheated and coolant leaked everywhere. Nothing was wrong with my turbo, my water-pump must’ve been going out for a while which, caused oil to seep from bad seals. nothing was wrong with my compressor, it was just another symptom of my thermostat being bad. I’m leaving this review because the staff never mentioned anything about my thermostat, but did mention that my car (Buick encore) was super unreliable- and I should buy a new one because the cost of the repair would be approx. $3500 The repair of my thermostat and supporting parts was significantly less. I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if I had let them do the work without checking in with our family mechanic. I understand being a mechanic is hard work, and it’s often like solving a difficult and complicated puzzle. But the overlooking of possible root causes to my cars overheating problem, and justifying it with the fact that my car’s engine isn’t reliable can lead to expensive repairs that aren’t necessary and don’t solve the problem.

Do not say that I was un respectful because I trust Gabriel as mechanic and no the manager. Gabriel was my trust thru years of business and I deserve explanation on the job done in my car. After years taking my cars for service I have been very disappointed with the service under new manager that has not customer service and business experience. My family use to trust the service but not any longer. Wrong diagnosis and incompetence. I will recommend the Management (owner) to take a close look to customer service. I took my car for AC repair and I had to purchased and delivered a new part from dealer and paid for labor $ 1,135.00 with a check engine light on that was not on before . My Sentra was running perfect the only problem was the AC , after two days of the repair I went to tried to drive on 417 and my car was slow with high revolution couldn’t go over 70 miles went back to shop and I received the same attitude from employe . The shop doesn’t want to be responsible for damage in my car. Never happened before with old management. Always was a respectful service with our five previous cars. I would not recommend this business like I have done in the past. And it seems that I am not the only customer dissatisfied with the service lately. As a mater of fact I don’t write reviews but this time had to express my disappointment.

I have been visiting this place since I moved to Avalon in 2018. The staff is always polite and friendly. I appreciate the fact that they inspect all my filters every time I go in for a quick oil change and never try to charge me for any unnecessary services.

Use Express Oil on Alafaya for all oil changes, tires, and many repairs over the years. I have an older vehicle and James and crew have kept it moving. Especially the last two years with 3-4 major repairs needed. Communication is clear and they are efficient and discount where they can. I can recommend with no hesitation.
