An Indian and a Spanish there are so obvious that they don't understand anything that they don't even know how to change the oil of the vehicle because they have poured all the oil on the upper part of the engine and they are trying to replace the part that doesn't go first, learn to change it, I think you need to take a license test again, maybe it's all of you's legal, I won't complain about it because you're not doing your job properly, you don't deserve the money you get

They're all trying to change the solid part when the vehicle doesn't have anything like a full scammer network and he said it wasn't a problem when I showed it to another mechanic before but when I go here he says it should be changed right away these are a complete scammer network They're all different and they're talking in all contracted because it's like a customer changing the part getting a commission I guess these are scammers please pay attention to them

Sold a part and sent a delivery driver for a 2 hour drive . For them to look at the part confused and baffled by invoice pricing . All invoices are discussed before written . Definitely not good business

Went for an inspection, I get in line and stop where the line starts. He tells me to pull up so I did then he stands on side I slow down and he gives me no instructions so I drive forward then he starts yelling to meet him in the front. As soon as he did I got a bad vibe from his shop. Shady. And thank god I didnt do the inspection after reading these reviews. I left I will no return after there attitude.

If you’re planning to get an inspection there, be prepared to fail because they seem determined to charge you, even if your car is brand new. There’s a guy named Zia who will fail your inspection. Be careful of scam

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I took my car here for an oil change , tire rotation, and a 65 point check up that we found off of Groupon a few weeks back. Once it was done, which took a ridiculous amount of time (two hours or so), I was told it was good to go. I was never given any paperwork, nor was anything discussed about what was done or if anything needed to be looked at in the future until I went back in and asked. After further review, my tires were never rotated, and the car wasn't given a proper 65 point check up at all. After looking under the hood, the coolant wasn't even filled and was well below the min line. That as well is included in that 65-point check-up, and the manager who runs the place and is there every day said that everything was filled and taken care of right to my face when I asked him especially the coolant. I'm not even sure if my oil change was done, and they just didn't reset the light on the car. I was told to bring it back up there, and they would look at it, but let's be honest, would you want to bring your vehicle back to a place after all this shady business is constantly going on to where they think they can get over on people who won't check up behind them. There had to be loads of people who had been ripped off and never even knew about what was done to them. Always make sure to mark your vehicles as I do. Especially when places like this have a price that's too good to be true, and they don't even send video proof of the work being done. I literally just had Toyota send me a video of the tire rotation and all the work they did to the other vehicle, which we took there after dealing with this shady place. Of course, it costs more at a dealership, but it's peace of mind as they literally send you a video of everything. Stay far away from this place no matter how good the price may seem. Please read all the reviews they are trying to hide all the negative reviews as this location has been stealing people's hard earned money for years after reading them. The positive reviews seem to be fake as they have had their friends and paid for positive reviews to cover up their shady business.Stay far away!

My husband recommended me to Exxon Smoketown . My experience the best place oil change any other service you vehicle need very kind customer service they have the best Price oil change it was a long waiting time. They’re very kind they pay my Uber to send me home. I did not have to wait on cold weather. Excellent service.👍🏽

Went for a state vehicle inspection and was taken advantage of by the service center. Cost me over $400 for rear breaks pads and rotors that did not need to be changed. Will never use them again. Pads look almost new and rotor where only slightly warm.

I didn’t listen to other comments! Do not use Groupon. I came here @6am waited until they opened. The bay door for oil change was closed. I went inside @8am they said it would be a 2 hr wait. Groupon is a separate line then everyone else! Waste of my time.

I should have checked out the reviews for the inspection side of this business before visiting. After a 3 hour wait they took my car in for half an hour, and after spending maybe five minutes actually looking at it (I watched through their window) they failed my vehicle and gave me a quote for $1300 to repair two issues. I then dropped my vehicle off at my preferred mechanic to validate these issues and get my vehicle roadworthy (I gave them the quote so they knew where to look). Turns out, both issues that were cited were fake, and the original inspection missed a real issue with a different part of the vehicle (a $400 repair all told).

I want to share a story about the VA State Inspection team's dishonesty, specifically Daniel D., who acted unprofessionally. Another reviewer has also mentioned him. He loudly discussed my private information, such as my expired plates, in front of other customers, seemingly to embarrass me. His concern for my plates was unwarranted; he should focus on his job, not the status of my decals. The pattern of dishonesty is evident in negative reviews on Google and Yelp, particularly regarding unnecessary headlight services. Mr. Degraw’s handwritten invoice, with its exorbitant prices reflects this, which I have uploaded as evidence. He assumed I'd pay any price to pass the inspection, but I'm not naive. The door handle, for instance, wasn't a safety issue, yet he quoted $175 for a repair that only costs $35 for the part. Similarly, he overcharged for a tire replacement and headlight restoration, both of which I could get done for a fraction of his price elsewhere. I strongly advise against using this location for safety inspections. Another station I visited didn't even mention the door handle or headlights. While not all Exxon Inspection Stations are problematic, this one certainly is, and their staff evaluation needs serious reconsideration.

The VA state emissions and inspection team are wasting customers time. They are several of them but non of them are working. I waited for an hour, but couldn’t get my turn. I left without doing my inspection. Don’t waste your time going to the auto repair shop. The guys are chilling, they are not working

Went to get my car inspected. The mechanic called Zia Amir told me that my vehicle had a bad ball joint, and I need to change my breaks, They could fix the ball joint and break for $2,600. I declined the service and went to another mechanic to verify the issues stated. I paid only $700 for a new brakes and new ball joint. BOTTOM LINE: These people are trying to rip you off by saying you need service that you really don't. If you don't verify what these mechanics say, you will be lied to and will pay your hard-earned money to people that lack honor. Take your car elsewhere. Don't be fooled by these dishonest mechanics!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would start with that. Because of this very place my 2018 Hyundai Tucson that was in PERFECT condition is inoperable and has a blown engine!!!! They make Rookie mistakes like leaving a drain plug loose after an oil change & then refuse to take accountability. The district manager here is BEYOND unprofessional and will argue with you & test your intelligence rather than find a solution. If you want to keep your car in working condition, do NOT ever take your vehicle to this place. I wouldn’t even let them change a light on my car, not to mention they couldn’t even do that right without being told…Exxon smoketown Rd is a joke & I will be taking legal action.

Smoketown Exxon is incredible! I brought my 2013 Hyundai Sonata in with a blown head gasket, and they took amazing care of it. Carlos, in particular, is the real deal—extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. Add Eddie to this list as well. He walked us through the process of choosing the best options for our situation. You definitely get what you pay for here, and I couldn't be happier with the service. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic, I highly recommend Smoketown Exxon. I was traveling back home to NY when my car loss power on I-95, near Manassas, I was able to drive to the Exxon service station. I was told I would need a diagnostic ran on the car, after about a 10 minute wait, my car was put on a lift, I was told my Catalytic convertor was clogged & unsafe to drive, I was also told they couldn't get the part until 2 days, I was put in a Lyft to my friends house (they paid for it) Carlos called around & made things happen in a day in a half. I saw the reviews of this place & got nervous, but all went well with service & I was back on the road. It was service with a smile!!!

This is genuinely the worst place you can take your car. The service I received with Carlos was horrible and I do not recommend doing business with this service center or with him for that matter . I went in to get my AC fixed and came back paying $750 for everything BUT the AC to get fixed. Of course I had to take it back and tell them to fix it because it was never fixed and to give me a REFUND only for them to realize that the receipt for $750 WAS FOR ANOTHER CAR THAT WAS MY SAME MODEL. HOW DO YOU EVEN MANAGE TO MESS UP THAT BADLY AT THAT KIND OF COST. SAVE UR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE BUT THIS PLACE.

Manager just deflects and doesn’t take accountability.. waited 2.5 hours for my oil change and it was already done an hour ago. Was going to refuse my service even after waiting that long.. he handed me back the keys and said “do it elsewhere” I don’t understand… genuinely felt like I was treated unfairly and disrespected and he just blames it back on his job… if he was clear from the beginning or actually takes the time and understand customers.. it’s really unfortunate..

Got the groupon for the oil change and tire rotation. Pretty good deal and they were pretty quick and efficient the first time I came. I bought it again but, unfortunately, every time I called or came back they said it was a few hours of a wait. I had to exchange my groupon and go elsewhere. I’m not going to blame them for being busy. I’m sure it’s not always like that. The end of the month is always busy for them. They did, however, lose my wheel lock key. I didn’t even realize they never gave it back to me until I needed it, which could have ended up being a big problem. Luckily, it only turned out to be a moderate inconvenience and they were nice enough to get the wheel locks off for me and replace them for free.

Not from the area and Was nearby and since it has good reviews I came here to pass inspection They tried to charge me $700 for headlight s and ball joint. THEY ARE LIARS went to my mechanic and he said they are fine and they passed it at his shop. Lesson learned don’t try new places they are scammers here!!!
