We were passing through Albuquerque when our car was misfiring. We searched for the nearest mechanic and found Familia. Jay got us in and out quickly. His prices are reasonable! He's a genuine guy who just wants to help others. We appreciate his time and kindness. I highly recommend his shop❤️

I took my vehicles four times to JJ, and I like all his work . He is authentic, honest, and friendly. His estimates/quotes for car repair are always reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Everything you need from a mechanic... Honest, Courteous, Professional, Knowledgeable and Friendly. JJ has worked on my family's vehicles for a long time, we trust him and know he will get it done. This includes everything from an oil change to brake work to engine replacement. When we need vehicle maintenance and repairs in the future, we are definitely going to JJ at Familia Auto.

Highly recommend this shop! Quick to assess the problem, give multiple options in the estimate (whether a refurbished part or new, w/different warranty options), and repaired in the same business day. Pricing was very reasonable too. I will absolutely return if needed. *Added Edit - I just returned again for more work and had an equally positive experience. So happy to have found a mechanic that I can trust! Excellent communication and work.

JJ was able to give me a quote on parts and labor for my vehicle quickly, I dropped my car off on Saturday and he had it done Monday afternoon. Everything was handled professionally. Definitely will go back for anything wrong with my vehicle.

Found this place thanks to Google and I gotta say I'm glad I found it! The mechanic is a cool dude and he was able to explain what my car's problem was. He got the work done quick and left my car better then when I bought it.

This is the place to go! JJ was absolutely amazing. I'm a young, single woman from out of state, needless to say, I was nervous about finding a place to bring my vehicle and not get swindled. After reading all the reviews for autoshops, I picked Familia Auto. Thank goodness I did! I called to make an appointment, but we ended up finalizing through text. As soon as I pulled up he was looking at the car, and remembered what we talked about on the phone. He talked me through everything he was doing and made me feel comfortable. And so did his shop dogs! He definitely makes you feel like a part of his family. His pricing was also super fair! He made an effort to save me money! I was happy to see the bill. Thank you so much JJ!

Thank you JJ for taking care of our stranded customer in your town. We had our customer's engine went bad in Albuquerque New Mexico. We referred her to Familia Auto & Tire repair. They went out of there way to get her on the road as quickly as possible. This is the only place to go for all you auto repair in Albuquerque New Mexico . They are straight up people. This place is cheap and honest. The owner there's name is JJ. If you want a place that's cheap, honest and quick you go to this guy. He's been in the same place for over 20 years now and experience shows. Dropped of my car there Friday morning and by the time I got to work he was already calling me to pick it up. Fast! So fast of service!!!!! My car runs excellent now. Great service and better yet, great owner. Come on guys support small business and this is the place. Jimbob.
