I've been coming to Family Tires, shop for almost 5 years now. I've called other tire shops closer to me and they usually "Don't have that size as used but do have a new one" or they are WAY over priced used ones. And I ALWAYS end up at Family Tires. They always have the size I need, and always see me no matter the time of day. Family tires is the best priced, and I've NEVER had any issues with the used tires that I always buy. Every used tire I've bought from Family Tires, has lasted me up to a year + OR until a nail stabbed through it. I've waited to leave a review to make sure they continued to be a good tire shop and stay at a DECENT price (Which they have). Thank you for always helping me and my kiddos in a quickness every time we need tire help, and continuing to treat customers with decent prices.

My buddy Jr recommended me this place since I moved to Portland five years ago been going to this place ever since then… if you want great quality at a great price there’s a place to go. They even have used tires if you’re on a budget check them out.

Literally sold me a tire WITH A HOLE IN IT. Considering I went to them for a tire, since my old one had a hole in it, I basically traded one holey tire for another, and now I’m out $50. Epic fail, Family Tire.

Went in from a Recommendation to have new tires installed. First off. The guy got my wheels of and just threw them. Okay. Whatever they are beat up. But still. Did his thing. They were quick but the guy impacted on all lug nuts including the wheel key. Drove the car home and something didn’t feel right. Got home. Jacked up the car and found out that he kept my hubcentric rings. Cool. Oh and the lugs were in so tight. While I’m getting my wheels rotated. The wheel key broke. Must of been the 500 foot pounds he impacted on? Saved about 20 bucks vs going to a chain. But after replacing the rings and now the wheel locks… yeah. Don’t recommend.

Family tires, has very poor quality service. The owner was despotic and showed no patience, he took advantage of me because I don't know much about the durability of a tire so he sold me a used tire in very bad condition that could have caused me an accident. I DO NOT recommend this business at all. Family tires, tiene un servicio de muy mala calidad. El dueño fué muy déspota y no mostró nada de paciencia. Tomó ventaja de mí por no saber mucho de la durabilidad de una llanta. Me vendió una llanta usada pero en muy mala condición, ésto me pudo haber causado un accidente. NO recomiedo éste negocio en absoluto.

Great experience. They get you exactly what you need at great price. They’re not like the other places that try to sell you all four tires when you only need one. Got my tire put on super quick. Paid three times less than what they were charging me elsewhere.

Called to make sure they were open. Was assured they were open till 5. Pulled up 30 min later and they were locked up and closed.

Not a quality tire repair shop. I had a tire plugged by them, but it was still leaking air. I returned and ask them to fix it. I was flabbergasted when they asked $40.00 to fix what they did not do in the first place. Stay away, dishonest people!

I had a flat and they didn't offer any helpful advice or anything. And let me replace just one tire when I've just learned you need to replace at least 2 at a time. Apparently you can get tires repaired instead of replaced which they also didn't mention was an option. Dishonest

It was a Sunday in my tire and rim was completely ruined and there's only three please places in town. Family tires being one of them due to the other two having such high prices for used tires and from what I heard from a friend family tires had pretty good deals on used tires. I decided to go quite a bit out of my way to get there because it said in a picture and on the Google info about their hours that they we're for sure open on Sundays. However when I got there after having to take Uber that cost me damn near the price I pay for a tire. However It was completely shut down and closed. I had to take a uber all the way back home and miss work that day. Extremely frustrating.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone, they are very dishonest people. I bought some tires from them had them put it on and two days later one of them fell off driving on the road. Went back and he straight to my face said those were not the tires he sold me. I was livid

I can been calling all over town to get quotes on getting my own tire mounted and balanced. They were $10 cheaper than anyone else I found and stayed open til 7 pm too! The service was super fast and the attendant was very friendly. I will most definitely be back and would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs tire work.
