Missing center caps, missing valve stem caps, replaced and threw out the wrong tire and on top of that over torqued and destroyed my lug studs. (Possibly on purpose because we had to go back a second time to get the work corrected from the first visit). Remember a repair shop is only as good as the actual mechanic that works on your car that day. Check out some of the other reviews, one stated the wheel almost fell off and they did not even care. Rolling the dice at this joint.

These guys are awesome!!!!I everybody there was super friendly. I felt comfortable talking to them and made you feel at home. I had a tire that wasn’t holding air. I stopped by to have them check it out and they took it right in and patched it up. I didn’t even have to wait more than 20 minutes. They fixed it and I was out the door. They didn’t even charge me for the patch. They didn’t have to do that. That was awesome!!!

Famous Automotive is my go to for all my car needs... tires, oil changes, etc. I have been a customer since they opened and have received excellent customer service! A special shout out to Sam who is knowledgeable and takes great care of the customer!

I was there yesterday to unclog the drain on my sunroof they said everything is fine and it did rain big time and the driver side floor was soak and wet my floor carpet was heavily soak with rain water and the drain wasn't working .And they charged me 50$ for just about ten minutes .Going back on Monday to have it done I am pretty upset about there ability to fix something never get done right.

Love this place.. great, fast service. Very nice customer waiting area and good touch with the popcorn...my favorite. Told me about future services possibly needed on my truck ( I wish those recommendations were on my receipt). I'll be back!

Took my car in with an issue of the car not starting at all only if jumped even with a new battery from two weeks ago. Worrying it was something worse. I dropped off my car later in the day on Saturday so didn't expect to have it done until Monday, but the team there tool the time before their weekend to give it a look and ended up just being corroded terminals which they did the courtesy of cleaning and tightning, and bam the car starts great and the terminals look almost new. Honest mechanics who identified and fixed my issue quickly and without trying to sell me on extra unneeded work. Outstanding customer service from the employees and who I believe was the manager I primarily spoke with. I also have had full breaks done on my impreza in the past from here and they have held up fantastic. 10000/10 would recommend this shop, best trusted honest mechanic on the Island, if I could leave more than 5 stars I would.

I have been taking our vehicles here for years. There have been times where mistakes have been made and I have taken back for them to fix it. Now it’s just happening too much. I had a nail in my tire and it shredded. Took it up there and they put a new tire on. My TPMS system would not shut off. Took it back and they said it would clear on its own. Fast forward a few months and I brought to another service place because it still won’t turn off. Famous Automotive put THE WRONG TIRE SIZE ON!!! This is just lazy and people not taking pride in their work.

Last Friday I went, for the first time, to Famous Automotive for an oil exchange and tire rotation. To complete the service, they took almost 2 hours. Later I found out because a new employee was performing the service, which was supposed to be supervised by someone... supposed to! Later in the day, while driving with my 2 little children and family, the right front tire almost fell off, as several lug nuts were lost along the way and other lug nuts were loose. Upon checking I found out that several lug nuts on all four tires were loose. The car was making tremendous noise with the wheels loose. I was able to hand tighten them and replace the lost lug nuts. I called Famous Auto and spoke with the manager. He mentioned that he would take care of it, once I would come back. This morning, I went back after dropping my daughter off at school and spoke with the assistant manager. Very little empathy was shown when I explained the danger and how it affected my family. Someone checked the wheels and tightened the wheels at the correct tension. When I explained to the person how it was dangerous for my family, the only thing I heard was "I know, I know", basically dismissing the situation. Given the little empathy and without any apologies (I only got an apology by the manager on the phone, while in the store nothing was said), I definitely do not recommend them and won't be back either. I am glad nothing seriously happened.

Sam and his team are top notch. I’ve been bringing my vehicles here for 3 years and I wouldn’t trust any other mechanics or shop. Fair prices, they warranty their work for 1 year (parts and service) and they friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommend.

Just yesterday was my first time coming to Famous Automotive. I had a flat tire from a nail. Early yesterday morning, I had brought my tire to my usual tire place. They told me it was unfixable and told me I needed to buy a $250 tire. I decided to bring the tire to Famous Automotive to see what they thought. I pulled up and was immediately greeted by an employee. He looked at my tire and told me it was an easy fix. They patched my tire within 20 minutes and for free. I am so thankful for them and their honesty. They gained a new customer and I will be going here from now on. All the employees are super nice and friendly. Would highly recommend!!

Calvin and his team went so far above and beyond for me that I can't say enough about how awesome they are. They spent oogles of extra time helping get my extended warranty portions covered and even dropped my car off for me at the Ford dealership while I was out of town once it was discovered that this was a ford issue. They are honest, hard working and worth every penny! I will be using them whenever I need anything.

Great service and great prices. I highly recommend this place. They don't try to sell you stuff that you don't need, but will make recommendations for things your automobile may need. Not in a pushy used car sales way but in a genuine carrying way!

Famous automotive always does a great job on my oil changes, and they never tried to sell me more than I need. I broke the handle off my car door and they were able to fix it for a reasonable cost after I purchased a new handle on Amazon.

Sent here 2 times. 1 for compressor and power steering but then lost my power steering cap. Went back for a radiator and forgot to connect my radiator fan and air intake sensor back together. Overheated a few times before looking hard enough to find this. DONT GO HERE! They dont care enough to finish the job correctly.

Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. Went for alignment. They did not do it and tried to sell me a complete suspension replacement (lower control arms, struts, tierod, sway bars)[apprx. a $1000-2000 service] because the car has a squeeky noise when slowing down and when turning. All the above mention parts were replaced, struts 3 years ago, arms 4 years the rest a month ago. The noise I explained them was coming from worn rack & pinion and the missing rubber bushing from the engine mounts that other just as qualified and caring mechanics forgot to put back. That's it. The car's suspension is impeccable. But if you let them they tell you, your whole car needs replacement. Sad. Update: to answer your response, no you guys did not give me a fair price, since I did not even ask for price. Obviously since the parts do not need to be changed. I saw when they rolled the car out from the parking lot, they did not do any thourough inspection you talking about, matter of fact they even stated that the mechanic figured the need of replacement from the noise while driving it into the station. Just stop the lies and the excuses. 3 yrs old struts and 4yrs old arms need to be replaced???? You really try to sell this lie to the people here? During covid barely used the car, then this past year again barely used it (less then 5000mi). And please just refer the general rule of thumb for life expactancy for those parts even when they aftermarket (not factory set). Definitely not 3-4 years especially with 2 years out of that almost not using the car. But I tell you better what about the tie rod and the sway bar that was replaced literally a month ago???? So you here claiming honest business but have the audacity to say month old parts need replacement too??? You are the example of stigma in the industry.

Staff were all so nice, they have great prices, my car was in and out super quick, and it was super clean in there! I will 100% go back, and recommend all friends and family to them! I mainly worked with Sam and Josh!
