Came for a MD State Vehicle inspection for a used car from out of state. Amir was pleasant to chat with on the phone and they were able to take me 1st thing the next day and had the inspection complete within a few hours. Seamless process, they were flexible with time constraints of my availability with work and great communication so I was able to easily plan around this. Made this process very smooth. Would recommend

Needed an MD State inspection on car purchased out of state but didn’t have an appointment. I was able to drop off car, walk to my work nearby, and return at end of day to car with completed inspection, as promised when I spoke with them on phone before driving in. Always great when results match expectations! I was very pleased with my easy and seamless Fells Point Auto experience!

I wish I could give this place a zero. We schedule an appointment weeks ago as soon as we pulled into the lot at 9:00 a.m. actually 8:57 I should say I called to ask how we get in. I was told oh I forgot. We're overbooked. How about 9:30? I said sure we'll wait until 9:30. Then I was told that doesn't work either. Maybe you can leave your car here overnight when I informed him unable to leave my car overnight due to me having children and needing to get back and forth. He then said you have to find somewhere else and hung up worse experience ever. Please don't ever ever ever ever ever ever ever use this shop. I'm so appalled because the reviews were so good but I had a horrible experience and will not be back ever.

Very respectful, friendly, and professional staff! Ali was able to fit in my car for a MD safety inspection on short notice (during a holiday weekend), and was very thorough and transparent with his inspection. He also provided reasonable, cost-effective recommendations for repairs needed on my car to pass the inspection. This shop will save you money and take good care of your car. I highly recommend for those living in the area!

BE CAREFUL coming into this shop. Had my car towed in for a clutch replacement 1 year ago, then the clutch failed this year. I took it in again, they let it sit there for 1 MONTH before working on it. They couldn't finish the job so I had it towed to another shop. Turns out the slave cylinder failed and leaked oil all over the NEW CLUTCH, so I had to have the entire job re-done and spend a lot more money. They didn't replace something the 1st time and the whole job had to be redone. Wasted $3,000. I want some of my money back.

Before taking my car to the inspection, I took it to the mechanic to repair everything that needed to be done to make sure it passed the inspection. Everything was fine with the car, no issues. However, after receiving back my vehicle from the inspection, I noticed that my car was flashing with the engine symbol, so I checked the engine and realized that they unplugged some plugs on my car since they didn’t find any issues with the vehicle and so they created one. Be cautious and aware with your car!!!!

I will never use this business again. I recently had my car window broken and my airbag stolen. I took it to this repair shop because initially I thought the cost would be less than taking my car to the dealership. There was delay after delay in getting my car back - It took almost 2 weeks to get my car back so the cost of renting a car and using Ubers actually cost me more than if I had taken it to the dealer who would have been able to make the repair in 1 day. Plus, the amount they quoted was quite a bit off from what they ended up charging. When I got my car back, there was a greasy film over most surfaces and the car reeked of oil and dirt. The replaced window is not flush to the door when rolled down. It sticks up about 1/2 inch. Also, I truly believe they sold me a used airbag because it is scuffed up in various areas. (I wonder if this was someone else's stolen airbag). As I drove out of the parking lot, it was immediately evident that something was wrong as the 12 o'clock position of the steering wheel was now in the 2 o'clock position. They asked me to bring it back but I didn't trust them at this point. I took it to the dealer to get fixed and they said it looked like the car hit something and it was not like that when I brought it in. Lesson learned.
