We have been taking our cars to Ferrara's Auto Repair for more than 20 years, first when the shop was just below Washington Avenue and then following the relocation to Kimball Street. We are about to introduce Lou to another vehicle, and we trust him to treat it with care as always. Lou is a real sweetie, you'll love him!

They squeezed me in for a state inspection before I had to leave for vacation, and we’re finished in under a half hour. (The chain place where I had an appointment randomly didn’t have an inspector and told me it would take over 3 hours anyway) I am forever grateful; will use this auto shop for everything I will ever need; and tell anyone who will listen to come here from now on!! Thank you, thank you!!!

Lou is a great mechanic who gets the job done with professionalism and speed. I’ve been taking my cars to him over the past 2 years and he always is efficient, cost effective and honest. He always will show me what was replaced and why and spends the time to make sure I know what I am paying for. Would highly recommend if you need a mechanic in Philly.

Quality and friendly service, I’ll be going here for now on. Got me in ASAP. Cost was incredibly minimal. Update: Came back again a year later to pass inspection. Made the mistake of going to a Ford dealership repair center for AC repair (and inspection), and they wanted over $5000 to just to pass. Said no thank you and brought it here and they did it all for a little over a $1000. Really can’t say enough good things about Ferrara’s.

Lou has been working on our family’s cars for years now and I would rather walk then fix my car anywhere else. Highly knowledgeable and extremely fair. We have complete trust with Lou and Ferrara’s Auto! Don’t go anywhere else!

Best mechanics in Philly. Honest, fair priced, and do the job right from start to finish. Brought my older F-250 SD to them and they got it back on the road in little time, now it runs perfect. Will not be going to any other repair shop in the future, only Ferrara's Auto Repair.

Lou at Ferrera's is an absolute angel. Honest, direct, and so accommodating. As a woman alone, I walk into auto shops very wary of being taken advantage of and talked down to, but this was not the case with Lou. He is delightful. I went into Ferrara's a few weeks ago with a heavy heart. My vehicle is nearing the end of its useful life with me and it's a bit heartbreaking for me to have the kinds of conversations where we're choosing to fix some of the smaller things, planning for other, bigger expenses, and planning ultimately for when it won't pass inspection. Lou was kind and honest and just overall quite helpful. He made the whole thing way less stressful. Hoping to take all my vehicles to Ferrera's forever!!

Went to Ferrara’s for a last-minute state inspection. The owner was able to get me in and was incredibly friendly. He was incredibly transparent and honest throughout the entire service. Overall, it was an effortless experience from start to finish. I’ll always recommend Ferrara’s to anyone looking for a repair facility.
